Earlier this month, Customs and Border Protection recorded fewer than 7,832 illegal border crossings in July. That’s a staggering number when you consider that the 25-year average for that month is 76,000. Even more staggering is that this should never have happened. At least, not if you believed President Joe “Autopen” Biden. For four years straight, Biden and his minions told the American public either that the border was secure, or that the problem was impossible to fix due to Republican intransigence, or some combination of the two. We’ve come to expect that no matter what President Donald Trump says or does these days, the mainstream press will rush out to say he’s wrong. So, we weren’t the least bit surprised when, after Trump said crime in the nation’s capital is out of control and called in the National Guard, news outlets immediately dismissed his claims.
But who is doing the lying here?
Crime in D.C. “is getting worse, not getting better,” Trump said. Nonsense came the chorus of press reports, with headlines such as:
“Fact check: Violent crime in DC has fallen in 2024 and 2025 after a 2023 spike” said CNN.

As soon as President Donald Trump announced that he was firing Erika McEntarfer from her job as commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the wailing and gnashing of teeth began. This was part of an “authoritarian playbook,” it was “Orwellian,” it was “preposterous.”

The national online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken by 1,362 voters from July 30-Aug. 1, show Trump holding steady, with 45% giving him a “favorable” rating, and an equal 45% giving him “unfavorable.” Another 6% answered “not familiar enough to say” while 4% were “not sure.” The poll’s margin of error of is +/-2.7 percentage points.

President Donald Trump has told Canada that if it recognizes Palestine as a state, it’s jeopardizing a trade pact with the U.S. The threat is more than leverage for talks. It’s a reminder that the West is giving up on civilization and needs to be rousted from its slumber.
“Canada has just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine,” Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social. “That will make it very hard for us to make a trade deal with them.”

Don’t be disappointed if you’re anxious to attend the Biden Presidential Library’s opening. It almost certainly will never exist. D.C. swampsters are trying to bury the record, hoping the public forgets how bad things were. Its subject will soon be either in the ground or too incapacitated to solicit funding. Biden staffers retaining criminal defense counsel have no interest in a library containing evidence for prosecutors to mine. No reporters from press outlets complicit in enabling chaos are hounding Biden. DOGE revelations testify to his administration's wholesale graft. FBI servers were purged of controversial data, unburdening what had been.
Friday on MSNBC’s “The Weeknight,” Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said that President Donald Trump was a “Kremlin kiss ass” during his Anchorage, Alaska summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Swalwell said, “If you’re a Republican in Congress, you just saw a Kremlin kiss ass in the president of the United States. Somebody who squandered an opportunity to confront a ruthless dictator who is killing innocent children and kidnapping innocent children every single day. I don’t know what this meeting accomplished other than taking the Epstein files and inflation out of the news, but you have meetings like this to achieve objectives.

I received such an outpouring of comments to my recent bad T.V. and cable ads article that I thought I’d give this another shot.
Currently, there are so many bad ads I had no problem finding truly dreadful examples.
First, let’s check out an ad campaign that worked, American Eagle’s ads featuring Sydney Sweeney, a popular young Hollywood actress.
Apparently, she not only has good genes, but good jeans. When those American Eagle Sydney Has Great Jeans ads broke a couple of weeks ago, three things happened. Immediately, the “progressive left” predictably lost their minds, flooding TikTok and YouTube with screaming video fits, calling Sydney a Nazi while claiming

California Gov. Gavin Newsom had an embarrassing rally on Thursday to promote his push for redistricting in his state to help the Democrats.
In addition to not having many people at the rally, Newsom was also upstaged by the Border Patrol making arrests nearby. He flipped out, assuming it was meant as a message to him. He was also upset that someone sent him a "Trump 2028" hat, which he claimed was evidence that President Donald Trump was going to run again. It was a festival of Trump Derangement Syndrome on display.
