There Won't be a Biden Presidential Library

Don’t be disappointed if you’re anxious to attend the Biden Presidential Library’s opening. It almost certainly will never exist. D.C. swampsters are trying to bury the record, hoping the public forgets how bad things were. Its subject will soon be either in the ground or too incapacitated to solicit funding. Biden staffers retaining criminal defense counsel have no interest in a library containing evidence for prosecutors to mine. No reporters from press outlets complicit in enabling chaos are hounding Biden. DOGE revelations testify to his administration's wholesale graft. FBI servers were purged of controversial data, unburdening what had been.

How about, instead of a library, they open Joe’s Ice Cream with an attached garage and a Corvette-amid-boxes motif? It could contain exhibits of the chain he used to fight Cornpop, a flight of AF-1 stairs, the bike he crashed, Chinese yen and packages of (fake) cocaine. In-house music provided by The Bad Dudes. The gift shop would provide an array of coloring books, crayons, Nair, Depends and floor stickers in the shape of arrows for directional purposes.

There shouldn't be a presidential library for a figure who wasn't really president during the four years of his alleged term. Other people, not elected to anything, did all the illegal work in Biden's name. History will be brutal to FJB and the people responsible for kicking him upstairs. He was never cut out for leadership because he was never a leader. Just a corrupt bribe taker.

Just as well. I've always noticed the people of Delaware seemed indifferent to Biden being president. There were never crowds of people lining the streets to get a glimpse of his motorcade. No welcoming ceremonies. No (phony) proclamations for the 'hometown hero'. When lying on the beach, other beachgoers barely glanced his way. Their game of beach volleyball, building a sandcastle or feeding French fries to the seagulls was more interesting.

Great article. There have been a few, shall we say, less than competent, honest Presidents but Joe will probably go down in history as the worst (so far). As the years roll on, his cabal of radical leftists, America-haters and power seeking manipulators around him will be exposed for what they were. Books will be written about this shameful era...the Afghanistan debacle, emasculation of our military, deliberate censorship, weaponizing of the FBI, DOJ and all the other trans and woke nonsense and stupidity will come to light. The Democrat Party will also get their share of their dangerous and incompetent era. Let's just hope some of the damage can be undone.

#5 is focused on the most likely scenario for an FJB presidential library: Either U Penn or the U of Delaware takes some old, underused building, refurbishes it a bit (lipstick on a pig), and hangs a shingle out front declaring a presidential library. Penn is private and I hope its trustees aren't dumb enough to do such a thing. Delaware, however, is a public school, but if they get a lot of this done "under the radar" then taxpayers in the state who fund the place won't have time to object.

I don’t know. I’ve always thought it would be nice to have a presidential library that caters to the sensorimotor crowd (0-3 yrs.) There could be a floor-wide puppet show exhibit, where children engage in silly word play as they manipulate puppet heads on a stick. Maybe a reading/dining room where a youngster can eat chocolate chip ice cream while listening to a voiceover of Jill Biden reading classics like: The “Very Hungry Caterpillar,” and “Are You My Mother?” ;-) A cognitive extravaganza indeed.

'Democrat' becoming synonymous with criminality, anti-Americanism 7 replies

There is no other way to say it: today’s Democrats have a love-affair with criminals, violence, and vulgarity. Thus, they clearly favor illegal immigrants over citizens, criminals over the law-abiding, and chaos over the Constitution. The examples are legion, inexhaustible. To wit: The man charged with assaulting a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent with a Subway sandwich is a former DOJ employee, an ex-Swamp dweller. Hunter Biden recently claimed that Melania Trump met her husband through Jeffrey Epstein. Hunter dismissed First Lady Melania Trump’s demand for an apology for his statements linking the former super model to Jeffrey Epstein. Melania’s lawyers promptly persuaded the Daily Beast, who published the accusation, to post a retraction.

There was a lot of news this week. Texas Democrats, emulating their brethren in Wisconsin and Minnesota, fled to greener pastures in hyper-gerrymandered Illinois. The battle over illegal immigration continued. As of this writing, President Trump and Vladimir Putin are conferring in Alaska. But the overwhelming favorite of meme-creators was President Trump’s effort to get crime in the District of Columbia under control. That seems like a laudable objective, but every Democrat, without exception as far as I know, has lined up on the side of the criminals. The District has sued to stop Trump from saving residents from violence and disorder. And the Deep State,

Faux meat-congealer Beyond Meat reported a bad third quarter last week; the company's sales were hurt in part "by weak demand for its plant-based meat products," according to Reuters, and that has The Street's Daniel Kline arguing the company is ripe for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. "The company does have time to fend off a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing," Kline wrote, "but it also has limited, if any, prospects to meet its impending cash needs." The company has just $117.3 million in cash or equivalents, and debts of $1.2 billion. The company announced layoffs and other cost-cutting measures, along with expanded distribution of the products that people are less interested in buying.

Case in point: So-called journalists who, instead of investigating Russiagate claims, performed as marionettes for the Obama-era intelligence community, determined to rig and then undo a presidential election. And now we have at least two names. I'll get to those in just a moment, but first, this important reminder. At the center of the Obama White House’s

President Trump proclaimed Friday he and Russian President Vladimir Putin made “great progress” toward ending Moscow’s war on Ukraine after meeting for nearly three hours in Alaska — while cautioning “there’s no deal until there’s a deal.” Trump, 79, and Putin, 72, didn’t publicly mention any details of a preliminary “understanding” toward ending the long-running war, with the US leader saying he would be calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and key European allies to discuss negotiations. “There were many, many points that we agreed on, most of them,” Trump said at a media availability where neither he nor Putin took any questions.
