California Gov. Gavin Newsom had an embarrassing rally on Thursday to promote his push for redistricting in his state to help the Democrats.
In addition to not having many people at the rally, Newsom was also upstaged by the Border Patrol making arrests nearby. He flipped out, assuming it was meant as a message to him. He was also upset that someone sent him a "Trump 2028" hat, which he claimed was evidence that President Donald Trump was going to run again. It was a festival of Trump Derangement Syndrome on display.

Earlier this week, I wrote about how Donald Trump and Marco Rubio seem to be ramping up efforts to bring Nicolás Maduro to justice and, with any luck, pave the way for a free and liberated Venezuela. In the wake of these recent efforts, Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado appeared on Fox News with Rachel Campos-Duffy to thank the president for his support, explain why people in the United States should care, and talk about her hopes for the future of the South American country."We Venezuelans are deeply grateful to President Trump for his unwavering support to freedom and justice,

FBI Director Kash Patel says he was “blown away” by what he uncovered inside a hidden “burn room” at the bureau’s headquarters, a locked area in the Hoover Building containing thousands of documents tied to the Russia-collusion hoax and other politically sensitive matters. In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday, Patel described finding not just one, but seven government “burn bags, ”specially designed containers for destroying classified evidence, along with hard drives belonging to former FBI leaders, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page.
“I was blown away,” Patel said.

President Trump on Friday described it as “very nice” that former rival Hillary Clinton promised to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize if he’s able to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine without Kyiv being forced to give up territory.
“Well, uh, that was … very nice,” Trump told Fox News “Special Report” host Bret Baier, after a prolonged pause.
“I may have to start liking her again,” the president added of the former first lady, secretary of state and two-time defeated presidential candidate, as he traveled aboard Air Force One for a high-stakes meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

President Trump proclaimed Friday he and Russian President Vladimir Putin made “great progress” toward ending Moscow’s war on Ukraine after meeting for nearly three hours in Alaska — while cautioning “there’s no deal until there’s a deal.”
Trump, 79, and Putin, 72, didn’t publicly mention any details of a preliminary “understanding” toward ending the long-running war, with the US leader saying he would be calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and key European allies to discuss negotiations.
“There were many, many points that we agreed on, most of them,” Trump said at a media availability where neither he nor Putin took any questions.

A new documentary about the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel by Hamas has been booted from the Toronto International Film Festival — because organizers insist the filmmakers need the rights from the terrorist group to use their horrific footage of the massacre.
The festival claims the movie, called “The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue,” did not meet certain requirements to screen at the prestigious September event, widely attended by Hollywood stars and bigwigs, including not securing so-called “legal clearance” to use Hamas’ live-streamed video of the rape, murder and kidnapping of Jews.
The stunned filmmakers, including Canadian director Barry Avrich, slammed the decision,

In a 1954 movie about the Dutch resistance during World War II, its fighters took pride in their leader’s courage as he taunted the Germans during nighttime attacks. Brazenly wearing an easily visible white scarf, he was fearless in challenging the enemy to shoot at him.
But it was only after the resistance had suffered numerous mission setbacks that a terrible reality came to light. Their leader, known as “The Scarf”, wore the garment, not to antagonize the enemy but to let them know where exactly he was on the battlefield so that, as a German collaborator, he would not be shot by them.

New figures out of Austria are positively horrifying.but it would be less of a problem if real Europeans were having babies at equal or greater rates than the third world welfare louses hunkered down in. Brooke writes that “the country’s demographic composition is changing rapidly,”
From a new report by Thomas Brooke at Remix News yesterday:
New figures show that women from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq living in Austria have an average birth rate almost three times higher than that of Austrian-born women, according to data from the country’s Statistical Yearbook on Migration and Integration.
Yes, progressive politicians inviting an invasion is absolutely a serious and unacceptable problem (it’s also treasonous),

Thus far, James Comey’s activities have been largely confined to his duties, however corrupt, within the FBI, or inward-looking. From January 2017 onward, his activities become dramatically darker, arguably illegal, and more forward-looking. On January 5, 2017, a bit more than two weeks before Inauguration, Obama met with Biden, James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, and Assistant Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office. Comey did not disclose this meeting to Congress when asked about how many times he met with Obama. "Twice," he said, under oath. It was actually three times.

Gov. Kathy Hochul slighted mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani in a live TV interview Sunday — signaling she may not endorse him in the election even after he praised her “courage.”
“We still have many differences,” Hochul said, keeping her distance from her fellow Democrat during a Fox News Sunday interview. “I don’t know how you whitewash that away.”
Fox host Shannon Bream had read a statement from Mamdani effusively praising Hochul for sparring with President Trump and Republicans over redistricting fights that could dictate who controls Congress.

Thomas Kolbe has written about the collapse of the German economy, something pretty shocking to those of us who remember when the German economy seemed unstoppable. What’s slammed the brakes on that juggernaut is central planning that revolves around the whole Green New Deal theory. Other European countries are doing the same. Spain and Portugal had a catastrophic power outage thanks to their green energy policies, and, in England, people are getting cold and dirty in a very 19th-century way because of the UK’s drive for “Net Zero.”
Had Kamala been elected last year, America would almost certainly have gone down that path, too.

An essay about a new movie and a Facebook post perfectly exemplify why leftist Jews in America and Israel are finding it impossible to defend against genocidal antisemitism.
“Guns & Moses” tells the story of a rabbi who discovers that the Second Amendment exists to save innocent lives. As the rabbi investigates a deadly attack against his congregation, he discovers that a gun is his best friend against a murderous antisemitic enemy. The movie is based on the deadly attack against Chabad of Poway in San Diego in 2019. At the film’s end, as the credits roll, writer and director Salvador Litvak has a message:
