Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations reported Tuesday that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller has lived in a memory-care facility “for the past few years.”
Sperry wrote on X, “NEW: House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed Robert Mueller to appear for a Sept. 2 deposition to provide details from an FBI investigation of Jeffrey Epstein from decades ago — even though sources tell me Mueller has been living in a memory-care facility for the past few years.”
Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly said nothing during interviews last month with the Justice Department that would be harmful to President Donald Trump.
Maxwell was sentenced in 2022 to 20 years in federal prison for conspiring with the late Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse minors. She has appealed her conviction to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance gathered before sunrise on Wednesday, in a similar manner that it has for the last 20 years, for a remembrance ceremony. The ceremony included a reading of the names of the victims killed in the bombing, bell ringing, and hanging paper cranes. An Australian state has asked citizens to surrender machetes at disposal bins ahead of a statewide ban on the weapons aimed at combating knife crime.
Australia’s state of Victoria on Thursday announced that more than 40 machete disposal bins will be available at police stations across the state to allow citizens to safely get rid of the weapons without a penalty before the Sept. 1 ban begins.
"Owning, carrying, using, buying, or selling a machete without a valid exemption or approval will be a criminal offense," the Victorian government said in a statement.
