A 19-year-old former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer was beaten and bloodied by a mob of 10 minors early Sunday morning as he thwarted a carjacking attempt in the nation’s capital, according to DC police.
Edward Coristine, whose LinkedIn handle earned him the nickname “Big Balls” at DOGE, was with a woman near downtown DC when he saw the group of juveniles approach their car and “make a comment about taking the vehicle,” according to a Metropolitan Police Department incident report obtained by The Post.
“At that point, for her safety, [Coristine] pushed his significant other … into the vehicle and turned to deal with the suspects,” the dramatic report continues.

Juveniles. Minors. How whitewashed. The word is blacks.
Some years ago I was camping with a friend. We had scored the best spot in the place, under a big shade tree right next to the lake. Well after midnight a truck load of goobs pulled up outside our campsite. I could hear quiet conversation and one said loudly "we can take the place". I stood up with .45 in hand, backlit by the campfire, and they changed their minds. More people need to do that.

Stop calling them juveniles, teens or whatever depictions of normality that the media uses to describe these savages. They were accepted by American society for decades and given every advantage but now they are losing our respect and sympathy by reverting to jungle behavior.
You were correct in your actions, #3, but if anyone in authority had been called, you would likely be the one arrested.

I suspect they are ten paid delinquents. How were they all supposed to fit in the car after it was stolen? Did they steal multiple cars to make it look like it was a stealing operation instead of a hired attack?
Not sure about the "accepted by American society" comment above, but these vermin were probably born here. They may abuse it, but this is their country just like anyone else born here, including the suits who hired them. Were the white "savages" in LA and other places around the country (like antifa) accepted by American society? What are we doing here? I wish we could stop reverting to the same type racist go-tos we decry from the left.

I suspect they had planned to "Seth Rich" him.
He is not a big burly guy, which makes him even more brave.

He pushed the woman into the car to protect her and faced the attackers. She had the presence of mind to call 911. Sounds like a brave couple there. Hope they stick together. Now watch the left hail the animals that attacked them as heroes.

He stood between his date and 10 .... savages?
He DOES have big balls.
For the two that they caught, maybe putting them in stocks in the public square would be a good idea. Their own would dish out punishment in kind.

The Washington Post article about this incident says, “ . . . A protégé of Elon Musk and former DOGE staffer was injured in an attempted carjacking early Sunday morning in D.C. . . “ The article also states that year to date, violent crime is down 26 percent in the District compared with 2024 according to DC Police.
So, the Washington Post deliberately understated the severity of the attack and repeated propaganda puff from the DC Police.

One of the worst mistakes of legislation developed and passed by Congress was granting home rule to DC in 1973. DC was never meant to be another state or city but the seat of the US Government.

What #4 said.
The left runs a wrecking crew/enforcement agency.
Sometimes they get together as "Antifa."
Besides burning out neighborhoods for redevelopment schemes, they kneecap people and occasionally provide assassins.
The assassination division is still under development, but are within centimeters of their goal.

Interestingly...since they are from Hyattsvile...they already CAN be treated and charged as adults."In January 2015, the Hyattsville Council passed a charter amendment to reduce the voting age to 16 for city elections, making Hyattsville one of the few jurisdictions in the United States that has done so. In December 2016, the city expanded voting rights again, granting non-citizen residents the right to vote in municipal elections" The reasons for both of those actions was/is Illegal immigration...Hyattsville went from 30%white, 35% black, 35% hispanic in 2010 to, 20% white, 30% Black, and 40% Hispanic in 2020. The numbers have only grown since, as the population has increased by nearly 30% since 2020, the largest demographic is now young Salvadorian Hispanics. If they are old enough to VOTE? They are old enough to face "Adult" consequences. And assault by a concerted mob action is treated as an "Armed Assault" under the Law, if there is a racial or political motive/component/disparity...it is also considered a "Lynching"

DC priorities -- restore civility by renaming the Bullets to the Wizards, and Redskins to Commanders, but unprovoked "juvenile" violence is part of the cultural mosaic that whites will never understand. Eyes rolling like slot machine dials here...

DC native, here (yes, I admit it).
Crime has not gotten worse. It has been at the 5-alarm level for 25 years. No one who was born in/grew up near DC actually goes there anymore—for any reason. The last time I was there—I was assaulted in the Metro.
Trump’s outrage is understandable, but almost moot. It will take decades to bring DC back to the city of my youth. I’m glad he wants to clean up the People’s City—but is going to be an uphill battle. Crime is the local industry there.
And to those who are speculating about paid thugs—I wouldn’t be surprised. My point is, that DC is the perfect cover for violent acts …because it looks like just another night in Georgetown. :-/

Not really # 28, just meet violence with violence. A few posses running up against these gangs and it would not take all that long. #3, made the point. People looking for trouble need to find it. We have been driven into our homes at night. Doors locked window drawn closed, fear with any sound, because G-d forbid we defend ourselves. I don't mean these self defense laws that worry more about the criminal than the decent homeowner. Look at the St. Louis lawyer that simply waved is gun at the antifa gaig cruising his neighbor. He was put through defending himself against the government that wanted to jail him; he only got his weapon back very recently - that's self defense. Or like some states where you have to withdraw to the furtherest point in the house and give ample warning - that self-defense. I want to return to the days that people knew that if someone stepped on your property or threatened you there would be a very high price to pay. Now, we can't go to our cities, or attend public functions and places, etc. because we live in fear ... fear of what the government do to us.

You can tell that DC is run by Progressive Democrats. Crime is rampant. My hat is off to the DC police for their rapid response. Taking a look at the picture of the victim, it looks like they saved him from being beaten to death by the gang of thugs.
