Texas GOP's new map would move Rep. Crockett’s
home out of her district, slash Dem seats

Original Article

A gerrymandered map proposed by the Texas GOP would kick firebrand Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett out of her own district and likely add more House seats to the Lone Star's Republican delegation. Last week, Texas House Republicans introduced a redistricting proposal that could net five new GOP seats. The draft congressional map, which is likely to change before approval by both state legislative chambers, aims to redraw district lines to include more Republican-leaning areas in Democratic strongholds like Dallas and Houston. Crockett, who serves Texas’ 30th Congressional District, which represents a large part of Dallas, has called the redistricting effort "a power grab to silence voters."

Awww, the wannabe hoodie DemoRat Jasmine Crock O' **** is upset. I'd bet money she doesn't even know this redistricting is putting things back the way they were before the DemoRats gerrymandered the map more to their favor years ago. There's little chance she knows. Heck, there's little chance she knows just about anything if you (try to) listen to her speak. Hopefully the redistricting will happen, after the DemoRats throw their hissy fit, and Texas will be without Jasmine in office.

Jasmine will be having conniption fits for the next few weeks and the media will give her plenty of coverage. Since when does anybody care about where democrats live in comparison to where they claim to represent? Schiff, AOC and a bunch of others live out of area but claim to live where the voters are by way of house-shuffling. Somehow, some way we will be seeing the little mouthy thing with the batty eyelashes for the foreseeable future.

I live in her district. It was gerrymandered 40 years ago to ensure a b lack rep and the seat was previously held by a b lack woman for over 30 years. Besides, since when does a politician have to live in their district? Witness Maxine Waters and Adam Schiff. BTW - The Census Bureau has acknowledged that Texas and 5 other RED States were under-counted in the 2020 census while kalifornika and 7 other BLUE States were over-counted. I'll wager a lot of the overcounts consisted of illegals.

If they think voting district lines are bad in Texas, they ought to check out a map of Virginia's voting districts. Talk About gerrymandering big time. It was a miracle that Republicans were voted into office 4 years ago. The way the districts are set up, Virginia will be forever blue.

Despite the best efforts of Russiagate-complicit media to dismiss as “Russian disinformation” the latest revelations in this escalating scandal implicating President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the treasonous “years-long coup” against President Trump, the public is paying attention and wants heads to roll. According to a Rasmussen poll released Monday, nearly two-thirds of voters (65%) are following declassified releases over the past month by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) “very closely” (32%) or “somewhat closely” (33%), repudiating the calculated media silence about the Obama administration’s fake narratives and manipulation of intelligence to frame Trump as a Kremlin stooge to cover up Clinton’s wrongdoing.

Fueling the bipartisan concern: fears that proximity to those sensitive installations could make them prone to drone attack or surveillance.

There are rumors that another Fed governor — Michael Barr — is about to resign, giving Mr. Trump another option.

But that dispute soon turned into a virtual free-for-all. Numerous male and female black youths sucker-punched a middle-aged woman. Others continued to kick or body slam the victims. There were many disturbing aspects to the beat-downs. One, the violence broke out along racial and age fault lines. After the initial dispute, groups of black youths swarmed solitary older white bystanders to pound them. Two, the surrounding assembled group of black youths not only failed to intervene to restrain the bullies.

The members flew to Illinois on Sunday, which qualifies as peak irony given that the blue state is arguably the most gerrymandered in the country. This plan was reportedly hatched with Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL), and the 30 odd Democrats will spend at least a week there. Given what we saw when they did this in 2021, denying a quorum for an election reform vote, there is no doubt a lot of grandstanding, dramatics, and cringe singing on the way.
