Why AOC could take the White House in
2028 and Kamala Harris won't

When former Vice President Kamala Harris announced that she would not be running for California governor, she appeared to leave the door open to another shot at the White House in 2028. However, the real Democratic contender to watch is not Harris.
Rather – implausible as it may seem to some – New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appears to be the front-runner for Democrats’ 2028 presidential nomination, should she forgo a Senate campaign, which she would almost certainly win.

AOC can't take dog catcher outside her dumb voter district.
She's almost as stupid as Kamala. She does her best when she remains silent.

Let's stop this nonsense about a Democrat winning in 2028. It ain't gonna happen unless there's an economic catastrophe, and even then, it's how the MSM portrays it. AOC, Buttigieg, or Newscum will not be president. It comes down to, why change horses in midstream if everything is great? I would even go so far as saying, stop reading this crap.

AOC is more apt to get the Che treatment by the Lib media than Que Mala. The bimbo who knows how to steal tips is able to strike the Marxist hero pose better than the one who knows how Willie Brown tastes.

She's only popular in left-wing enclaves. I'm not sure she could even dethrone Senator Upchuck in a primary. NY favors establishment candidates for top offices.

Please tell me they are joking about AOC. What in the worl.ds qualifies her for anything? She just acts like a smart a$s New Yorker with no experience in running a lemonade stand less a country with over 360 million people and a budget in the trillions of dollars.

There was a conference over the weekend for young Democrats. When asked who should be President in 2028, a number of people said it should be AOC, Jasmine Crockett, or Mamdani. This is the so-called activist wing within the Democrat party. They are very busy. Don't underestimate them.

Re: #3 - Yes, strange things can happen in politics. 26 years ago, after leaving the GOP, positioning himself for a presidential run as a third-party (New York Independence Party branch of the Reform Party) candidate, Donald Trump, when queried on CNN's Larry King Live regarding a VP running mate, made the following statement: "Oprah, I love Oprah. Oprah would always be my first choice. She would be sort of like me. I have a lot of things going, she's got a lot of things going." After pulling back as the Reform candidate, after actually winning a primary vote, in August 2001, Trump changed his party affiliation to Democrat, where he supported democrats for eight years until he (temporarily) changed his party affiliation back to Republican in 2009. While a democrat in 2004, Trump told CNN's Wolf Blitzer, "In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat", explaining: "It just seems that the economy does better under the democrats than the Republicans." In December 2011, during the run-up to Obama being elected president, Trump changed to "no party affiliation (independent). By April 2012, he again returned to the GOP, as his preferred vehicle to be elected president. By contrast, Ronald Reagan, who's family suffered during the Great Depression, became a New Dealer, impressed by FRD's ability to speak to the common man, offering encouragement and comfort, and making complex issues simple and understandable. Post WWII, Reagan increasingly became disillusioned by the liberal policies and soft on communism stance of the Democrat Party. As a democrat he supported candidates Eisenhower (R) and Nixon (R) in the late 50s and in 1960, formally switching to Republican in 1962, a permanent one-way switch, becoming the chief purveyor of conservative ideology, often co-opting the votes of our country's last batch of conservative democrats (Blue Dogs) and winning election as the governor of California twice before winning the presidency in 1980, after he coined the Make America Great Again slogan, later adopted and used by Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

I have been wrong before as my wife likes to point out but I think this is a bridge too far even for the dems. They just tossed two billion up a wild boar's a** trying to get Kamala elected and I can't see the big donors to pony up for AOC. I can see a woman from either party getting the WH one day but AOC won't be the one. I can't see her getting by the primary but we can always hope. I would think it will be Newsome or some well known Governor or senator carrying the torch.
