The Department of Health and Human Services reports that the organ transplant system is compromised. “Our findings show that hospitals allowed the organ procurement process to begin when patients showed signs of life, and this is horrifying,” said Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “The organ procurement organizations that coordinate access to transplants will be held accountable. The entire system must be fixed to ensure that every potential donor’s life is treated with the sanctity it deserves.” A House panel is now investigating, as well.

I was secretary in a post kidney transplant department in the late 1990's. Back then the going cost of a transplant was $250K. I don't know what it is now but most likely a lot more. This is disgusting, tho, harvesting organs when the patient could be saved.

Stories like this are not new and is the reason neither TK nor I signed up for "organ donation". It just seemed a ripe situation that would invite the unscrupulous to "hurry death along" for convivence sake. I'm all for living kidney transplants, where all parties are consenting to a procedure that still leaves both donor and patient alive. Just because doctors can "do something" doesn't mean they should. The ghoulish "trans" movement is a case study in modern medicines' Mengale-like machinations.

When there is that much money involved, the medical industry acts less than ethically. Aborted babies being used for spare parts is bad enough.

Wokism has driven morality out of medicine. It's wall-to-wall Mengele now.
But these doctors, who were their parents?

I used to be a potential organ donor, but when I read about abuses like this 5 years ago I dropped that notation from my Texas driver's license and also told my relatives I no longer wanted to be a donor.

This is exactly why it does not say organ donor on my drivers license.
I don't trust doctors anymore since covid!
They are driven by cash and transplants are a big business.

I've told all my loved ones that I don't consent to being an organ donor just in case, but I think (or hope) I'm old enough that they won't want my tired out organs anyway.

Organ donors can check a box on their driver license. I have never done so.

# 1 This is the same reason that I never signed up to be an organ donor. I feared there would be a rush to harvest organs before I was dead.

In the sixties, when organ donations were started and one could indicate on their driver's license wanting to be an organ donor, as I was about to sign up as a donor, my dad said, if a Rockefeller (they were the big noise in those days) needs a organ donated and yours fits the bill, well ya never know what could happen. And I thought right then and there, listen to my World War II dad. He has seen a thing or two in his life. And now decades later, my husband and I turned to each other upon hearing this latest scandal and said geez my dad was right.
And in the sixties, morals in the US had not degenerated to where they are today. They were on their way, but most people and the medical establishment still had morals.

The medical profession has been taken over by the established money hawks...it's big business...and I wonder how much is offered to this money dudes for sexual parts of trans victims...there has to be a reason these Woke fools insist on carving up your children...follow the money...and you'll get the answer....and I'm convinced that's why my phone rings off the hook with calls from the government telling me...as a senior...I need the latest vaccine from a big Pharmaceutical...yeah right!!

I'm of the belief that a donor needs to be alive when his organs are harvested, or at the least, surviving on a machine. I believe that the organs die when the donor dies, rendering the organs useless. I may be wrong, but that's what I believe, so there's no donor block checked on my driver's license!
