Stanford-led study finds COVID vaccines
saved far fewer lives than previously reported

A Stanford University-led study estimates that COVID-19 vaccinations saved 2.5 million lives from 2020 to 2024, about 17 million fewer than earlier reports suggested, primarily among older adults. That’s the equivalent of one death averted for every 5,400 vaccine doses administered worldwide during the period, according to the findings published Friday in JAMA Health Forum. Official estimates say 7 million people died from the virus worldwide in those years. Led by three Stanford researchers, the study noted that 90% of the lives saved were among people 60 or older, and 82% stemmed from vaccinations administered before they tested positive for COVID.

Dangerous "vaccine" for an innocuous virus. Yeah, go justify it, even indirectly, and let's ignore the long term sequelae. Stanford tried, but did not succeed.

But does it really and honestly account for the number we know were actually killed by the vaccines? Especially since that is a number ever incraesing day by day.

I’m not sure the vaccine had much of a positive effect quite frankly. I remember the point where the delta variant was just kicking in, and by then most everyone in the critical groups were vaccinated. Yet the death rate skyrocketed in the US. Something wasn’t adding up.

So vaccinations prevented deaths in the old, which is what they were intended to do, if given before a person had a positive Covid test. The rest of the mandating for others, for kids and young people, useless and potentially harmful. Dr. Ioannides was one of the few voices of sanity when the Covid hysteria began. Biden, Fauci and the media took over and that was that. The control factor was too alluring.

I would think that more people died from the vaxx than were "saved" by the vaxx. They're still dying and will continue to die for several more years. That and birth rates have crashed in vaccinated women. Fertility rates have crashed in the vaccinated female population. Young people are dropping like flies and people get their first diagnosis of cancer at stage 4 already. The excess death rate in the 18-54 age range is off the chart. Yet this is probably all "misinformation". Don't believe what your eyes tell you. Nothing to see here, move along...

Millions have died from those shots. I'm convinced that's what killed my son and gave his wife a stomach full of cancer. And there is my very liberal friend who believe everything the msm says - she felt symptoms of Covid a few months ago and ran to the dr for a shot. She got the mRNA. Almost died but refused to accept it was the shot.

I'm surprised Stanford would even admit that. The "doctors" at Standford University Medical Center would not even acknowledge that the CoVid vaxx could have given my wife CJD, which eventually killed her; even though the symptoms showed up immediately after the second shot.

The statistics based on who actually had COVID and who didn't are seriously flawed because the tests were faulty, giving thousands of both false positives and false negatives. The whole situation was a huge Charlie Foxtrot based on illegal gain of function manipulation directed by Fauci. My wife got the booster against my wishes and got life-threatening aFib shortly afterward. She still has bouts of it and has to be occasionally hospitalized. I don't really blame the drug companies. They bowed to what amounted to political pressure then made millions, and people were shamed and badgered into taking it. I had the two Moderna jabs at the start of the pandemic and now wish I hadn't. Got the virus anyway. Businesses went broke, people died when put on ventilators, even wore masks in their cars etc. and the politicians enjoyed more power.

These Covid shots, I believe, were a depopulation strategy. The Left has always been screaming about the planet not being able to sustain the world's population. So why not use a crises to lower the world's population? But some countries didn't comply, but it wasn't our country. Fauci and others made it mandatory and many lost their jobs and many their lives. What an evil plan was concocted by those in power. We pray that those that did it to us will pay the full penalty of the evil they did to our country and others.

U.S. tariffs on incoming goods look to be settling in only slightly less than what President Donald Trump had threatened in April, but the difference has been enough to ease some of Wall Street’s worst recession fears. With the U.S.-European Union trade deal over the weekend, it now appears that the effective tariff rate, or the net impact aside from the nominal level, will end up in the 15%-20% range. That’s well above the low single-digit rate in place at the beginning of the year, but well off the feared 25% rate or worse that could have happened as a result of the April 2 announcement. A hallmark of President Donald Trump’s second term is that he’s not just promoting his own policies — he’s looking to shake up the American power structure from top to bottom. Step by step, he is undermining or destroying the left’s decades-old program to achieve total dominance of government and politics through its control of money and institutions. That’s what Trump is up to with his plan to move much of the federal bureaucracy out of the Washington, DC, area and into the rest of the country. In doing so, he’s infuriating federal bureaucrats leading cushy lives in DC and its suburbs

Thailand and Cambodia reached a ceasefire deal "through trade," President Donald Trump announced Monday, ending a burgeoning conflict that displaced 260,000 people. The declaration from Trump comes after he said over the weekend that he had spoken to the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand, urging a ceasefire, adding the U.S. would not get back to the "trading table" with the southeast Asian countries until fighting stops. The fighting began Thursday after a land mine explosion along the border wounded five Thai soldiers. Both sides blamed each other for starting the clashes that have killed at least 35 people and displaced more than 260,000 people on both sides.

A lot of things changed when President Donald Trump won his second term in November of 2024. One of those was the environment in which the mainstream networks and newspapers would have to operate going forward. Had Kamala Harris won the election, the status quo would have been maintained, but Trump coming out victorious took so much air out of the balloon, and we are starting to see the effects of that. The firing of far-left late-night host Stephen Colbert was probably the most visible example, but papers like The Washington Post can no longer afford to keep bleeding money either.
