Dr. Mehmet Oz, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator, said his agency and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have identified at least $14 billion in fraud, waste, and abuse. “There’s about $14 billion we’ve identified with DOGE, of folks who are duly enrolled wrongly in multiple states for Medicaid,” Oz told Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” As an example, Oz said: “You live in New Jersey, but you move to Pennsylvania, and which state gets your Medicaid? Turns out both states collect money from the federal government.”

DOGE is doing such a wonderful service for this country and I don't understand why Democrats are so against what they are doing. I suppose it is because it is something Trump (and Musk) decided to do and they rather have the fraud and corruption than have Trump and his team succeed at anything. I'd rather they save taxpayers billions of dollars. It has certainly proven that there are many Judges in this country who ignore the Constitution and the rule of law by also trying to stop Trump from helping save this country. It would be great if we could depend on SCOTUS to put a stop to what the District Judges are doing.

If it weren't for DOGE, the Deep State Deep Swamp would continue growing a green layer of harmful algae making it difficult for people to understand what is going on beneath the surface. The Democrats do NOT like DOGE because it exposes areas of the Deep Swamp that they regard as safe habitat. They know that the deeper they dive, sunlight has little to no impact.

Tip of the iceburg, IMO. I believe that every facet of healthcare from chiropractors to brain surgeons and pharmacists, have been robbing medicare and medicaid for decades. I personally know of a doctor, he worked his way thru medical school with a cue stick, we used to go hustling all around. YEARS later after he was an established doctor, a newer friend told me about a doctor who his wife had worked for had fired her because she refused to falsify a bill to medicare. Same guy who I used to hang out with hustling pool.

Everybody's on the take, but you can cool believe the blue states are ripping off federal dollars everywhere possible. Government is purposefully inefficient so waste, fraud, and abuse can occur. Medicaid and Medicare need to be phased out at the federal level; it would cut thousands of jobs. If states want to provide for all of it themselves, they can do so under balanced budgets. The feds need to get out of almost everything. Tax people less, and they might be able to provide for themselves instead of depending on government, a dependency created by government. FTA, "Starting next year, many able-bodied Medicaid enrollees under age 65 would be required to show that they work, volunteer, or go to school in exchange for the health insurance coverage under the measure." Why all this? Work, volunteer, go to school. Who pays for them to go to school? Another taxpayer expense. Government makes no sense in 95 percent of what it does. DOGE is finding the waste, but not eliminating the avenues for waste. Congress, do your jobs! Cut government. Period. President Trump shouldn't be thinking of taking dollars from Harvard and giving them to trade schools. The dollars need to go back to the taxpayers. Leftists get power and back we go to waste, fraud, and abuse. Why is it so hard to understand we need to STOP SPENDING?

The amount of theft, fraud, waste, and overall abuse is breathtaking. I was blaming the "black" budget for the 37 TRILLION national debt, and now we all realize most of that debt was via USAID, the CIA, and entrenched bureaucrats by the thousands. I cannot wait for the final accounting. Just how much light has Elon Musk and his DOGE crew shown on the problem that is America's checkbook? How much is actually being saved, now, or in the near future?

U.S. President Donald Trump called Vladimir Putin "absolutely CRAZY" and said the Russian leader "is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers" in a Truth Social post on Sunday. The comments indicate that Trump's position on the Kremlin is hardening as his attempt to broker an end to the Russian war falters with no breakthrough in sight. The post came after Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine over the weekend, lobbing drones and missiles at 30 cities and villages and killing at least 12 people, including three children.

Russia has continued the operation to secure a “buffer zone” between the held regions in the Eastern part of Ukraine and the area west of the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. The NATO alliance continues pouring weapons in to support Ukraine defenses, but the Russians are methodically grinding down the Ukrainian military. Volodymyr Zelenskyy is now saying President Trump’s silence is emboldening the Russian assaults. “Each such terrorist attack by Russia is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia. Russia is dragging out this war and continues to kill every day,” Zelensky said in a post on Telegram Sunday morning.

The alleged attack came as the Russian leader visited the Kursk region, which saw the most significant incursion into Russian territory since the Second World War after Ukraine’s forces launched a daring counterinvasion last summer.
