Barely a week into her tenure as Washington, DC’s top federal prosecutor, Jeanine Pirro faced an urgent test –overseeing the investigation into the murders of two Israeli embassy staffers outside the city’s Jewish museum. Pirro’s response to the young couples’ murder was under the microscope, as it was her first opportunity to enter the public eye no longer as a Fox News host but as a high-ranking government official leading the charge to bring justice after a public assassination. Her quick command over the investigation garnered high marks from Justice Department officials. Prosecutors who work for her felt cautiously encouraged.

Grudging respect for Judge Jeanine. She's not there to play political games - like most liberals.

Do unto others BEFORE they do unto others AGAIN. In other words - death penalty. Shoot HIM in the back and reload and do it again. I think we should ELIMINATE all foreigners. Free speech right? I do not like violence but I do have free speech-just like the Harvard idots.

Judge Jeanine was a prosecutor, a district attorney and a judge. She knows what she’s doing. I’m surprised that anyone would be surprised at her ability to handle this job.

I hope at some point "Interim" is removed from her title (assuming she wants the position). She will definitely get things done.

Pirro invariably talked tough on Fox, which I liked. Talk is over, and it's time for tough action.

The suspect in the shooting of two Israeli embassy staffers at an event in Washington, DC, was apparently a member of a radical left-wing group that advocated on behalf of Palestinians. (Snip) Rodriguez attended a 2017 protest outside the home of then-Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel as a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, according to the group’s Liberation newspaper. On Wednesday, the Marxist-Leninist group urged followers online to sign a pledge aimed at stopping Israel’s “genocide” against Palestinians. The 2017 protest was not thought to be tied to Emanuel’s Israeli heritage. According to a LinkedIn profile Rodriguez worked

In the last two and a half years, eight sitting members of the House or Senate have died in office. Every time, it's been a Democrat. Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, died on Wednesday at 75, after a battle with esophageal cancer. He's the third House Democrat to die in the last three months. If Democrats had gained a narrow 1 or 2-seat majority in 2024, they would have lost it by now. The streak of Democratic deaths could just be something of a coincidence. After all, there are plenty of elderly

Connolly, passed away peacefully at his home this morning surrounded by family,” read a statement posted on Connolly’s X account. Connolly served as the top Democrat on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform until late last month, when he said he would step down because his cancer had returned.

WASHINGTON — Joe Biden was never diagnosed with prostate cancer until last week, and the last time he was screened for it was more than a decade ago, a spokesperson for the former president said Tuesday. “President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014. Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,” the spokesperson said. (Snip) In recent years, doctors have increasingly begun screening for the disease in older patients. President Donald Trump, 78, received a PSA screening as recently as this year, according to medical records released by the White House. Since he revealed his

Word of former President Joe Biden’s diagnosis of aggressive prostate cancer immediately spawned speculation he may have known about the disease while still in the White House — maybe even as he was pursuing a second term in office — but others are pushing back and requesting empathy for the 82-year-old. Urologist Dr. David Shusterman said Biden, who received the finest healthcare while in office, could have known for some time. He said the type of metastasizing cancer the former president has takes years to develop. “This is what I typically would see in a VA hospital, where a patient

Videos shared online captured the training vessel Cuauhtémoc sailing toward the iconic bridge, which connects the New York City boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The ship's 147-foot masts, which were shining bright with decorative lights, couldn't clear the arched bridge and were sheared off upon impact. That translates to a 48% hike in the minimum wage for hotel employees over three years. Airport workers

Far from helping to end the war in Ukraine, all the indications suggest that US President Donald Trump's mediation efforts are not only prolonging the conflict, but increasing the likelihood that Russia will ultimately emerge victorious. Indeed, far from showing any interest in ending Russia's military offensive in Ukraine, the Russian leader has given every intention that he intends to continue fighting until victory has been achieved. Nor does there appear to be any serious prospect that Trump will be willing to hit the Kremlin with further sanctions, let alone military encouragement, if it fails to show any serious interest in peace negotiations.

Most of us are old enough to remember Ann Coulter. Back in the early days of this here century, Coulter briefly cut a gigantic figure within the American Right. Many found her good-looking (no rarity among con women, it’s true) with traditional WASP features and a mane of blonde hair, though others found her a trifle horse-faced. For a time, it seemed possible that she’d attain a status second only to El Rushbo himself. She appeared on the covers of national magazines, became a go-to source for quotes, and was profiled and tracked in the gossip columns. For a year or two, Coulter appeared unstoppable. Left-wing media very much wants President Donald Trump to have dementia. At first, they began peddling this narrative to distract from former President Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline. Now, they are likely using it for a similar reason. The Insider published a so-called “investigation” into Trump’s supposed cognitive issues during his second term. It enlisted several mental health professionals to support their narrative. Dr. Bandy Lee, formerly of Yale University, claimed the president is showing clear signs of early dementia. These signs include reduced vocabulary, incoherence, impulsivity, and “paraphasias,”

The president himself suggested Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are possible contenders. Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., suggested this past week that he was keeping the door open to a possible run after his father leaves the White House, acknowledging “that calling is there.” Some swing state governors have also made moves that stoked speculation of presidential ambitions this cycle. Here are the seven most likely successors to Trump in 2028:

According to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Iran is now capable of spinning up enough of its highly enriched uranium (HEU) from its current level of 60% to the 90% necessary to build a nuclear bomb, in “probably less than one week.” The timeline for Israel to act against Iran's nuclear program has now compressed considerably. Coupled with the glacial pace of U.S. talks with Iran on its nuclear program, and the state of readiness of Israeli strike forces, some analysts have concluded that Israel is prepared to strike Iranian nuclear facilities in a matter of days. The impasse in nuclear talks with Iran is "irreconcilable," according to the Israelis.

There was a time, not so long ago, when climate scientist Michael Mann could bully critics into silence with the mere threat of a lawsuit. He was the face behind the infamous "hockey stick" graph, a man lauded by progressives, featured in Al Gore's documentary, and embraced by a media eager to label skeptics as dangerous deniers. But the courtroom, as it turns out, is no place for manufactured myths or moral grandstanding. A Washington, D.C. court just handed Mann a bruising legal defeat. After more than a decade of litigation, he has been ordered to pay over $1 million in attorney's fees to the very people he accused of defamation:

Spanish authorities were experimenting with how far they could push their reliance on renewable energy before the Iberian Peninsula was hit with a massive power outage last month, it has been suggested. As people wait for more answers on what caused the power cut that disrupted tens of millions of lives across Spain and Portugal, several have questioned Spain's heavy reliance on renewable energy sources as it plans to phase out nuclear reactors. Spain's socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has rejected such criticism, asking for patience while the government investigates the causes of the historic blackout.

Author, broadcaster, and unflinching cultural critic Mark Steyn did not merely weather a defamation trial. He survived it physically, financially, and morally when most would have buckled under the strain. What began as a battle over words became a battle over the soul of free speech.
