WASHINGTON — Joe Biden was never diagnosed with prostate cancer until last week, and the last time he was screened for it was more than a decade ago, a spokesperson for the former president said Tuesday. “President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014. Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,” the spokesperson said. (Snip) In recent years, doctors have increasingly begun screening for the disease in older patients. President Donald Trump, 78, received a PSA screening as recently as this year, according to medical records released by the White House. Since he revealed his

If that's the last time he had a PSA his doctor should loose his/her medical license. This is looking like an attempt to generate favorable publicity to counter the Hur report.

Not buying that. That's 11 years ago. You mean to tell me an old man getting yearly physicals was never given a PSA test? Nope. Not buying it.

The PSA test is a normal part of a comprehensive blood panel for men. It is simply not believable that this was never tested in any of Biden's physical exams.

From what I am reading is that doctors quit testing from 70 to 75, because it is too late in life to treat us old codgers. Joe was 71 then. Maybe this is a needed debate.

I can believe it, simply because once they find cancer, why do they need to keep taking a blood test to see if you're prone to getting it?
10 years after diagnosis? He has a slow growing tumor that took 10 years to kill him; prostate cancer is like that and it's only "aggressive" like his type is when it's your time to check out.

Of course it's not believable but they're just throwing anything at the proverbial wall right now to see what sticks. The bigger question is WHY they made the cancer announcement when they did. They certainly didn't have to---they were doing just fine without the public knowing. There has to be a reason for the disclosure; they must be terribly worried about something that's far more significant than when he had his last PSA.

There was always the two step process for '24. Use Joe as the scare crow and capture the WH again using the 2024 MO. Then divulge his cancer and in a heroic, sympathy generating act he could resign and hand the country over to the hapless Kamala and gloriously ride into the sunset. The puppet would change, the puppeteers will be the same. Neat trick! Except that the infamous debate threw a monkey wrench into the works. We must find out who put Joe up to it and thank them.

I recall only one time, and that was when Zero said:

I call a bull Schiff flag on this play as it's just another lie in a long string of lies concerning The Cadaver's health. I'm in full agreement with #14. They lied about Sloppy Joe having dementia as in my estimation from seeing and hearing that idiot in public he was starting to go mentally as far back as late 2018. Also, if the timing of the announcement of his cancer was to garner sympathy for the old fool, then that's so far backfiring.

I call BS on this. For one of the most closely monitored persons in the world, you can bet he had a simple PSA test and doctors were aware of a problem. At the age of 71 my PSA reached a level of concern so I did the 28 radiation treatments and I am a low level nothing person. The PSA test is so simple and routine there is no reason why doctors wouldn't have been giving him one on a regular basis.

We have been gaslit so much by the Biden side of the table, it is hard to separate fact from fiction. Truth is, the prostate is common cause of males as they age. And occasional psa tests are a conservative path to catch prostate cancers early…to allow treatment to prevent a premature and painful death…whether or not insurance pays for them.
Truth also is that prostate cancer, caught early, is treatable in older males (2 of my neighbors, mid 80’s were recently treated effectively…. yes it might recur when they are over 100, but that is still good years of happy living.
Back to Biden’s case. None of us know, nor will we know, what was known and when it was known. All we do know is is political life is over, and the future of his former bp has been scrambled. Perhaps, tho, psa screening should be elevated as a test to be performed on older males…the cost benefit ratio seems good, perhaps even better than the “draw the clock” test

#8. Biden was in line to be President and WAS President. He would have had his PSA checked every year. It's an option for normal people to have or not have a PSA. It is NOT an option for a Vice President or President.

I think he's a victim of our incompetent CDC. Here's a link to the CDC website that says:
Men who are 70 and older should not be screened for prostate cancer routinely.
https://www.cdc.gov/prostate-cancer/screening/get-screened.html#:~:text=In%202018%2C%20the%20US%20Preventive,specific%20antigen%20(PSA)%20test.
Huh? That's news to me. They actually explain why:
They say, (no joke), that screening may "cause men to worry about their health". They then go on to say that if they screen and if the PSA is high, that the next step would be a biopsy and they don't recommend biopsies on men over 70. The CDC though doesn't mention that an MRI is also available and non-evasive. MD Anderson (cancer institute in Houston) recommends PSA with followup MRIs
So, conceivably, yeah, he hasn't had PSA tests done since 2014. Sounds to me like we shouldn't listen to the CDC. l

You know how Biden‘s cancer diagnosis is all over the news right now? Well they are saying about the timing that with the Hur report dropping and also Jake Tapper’s tell all book just coming out where he talks about the huge scandal of the White House personnel and the media covering up that Biden had dementia. I think this is just too pat, just too convenient that this cancer diagnosis has been revealed right now at this time. The odds that Joe Biden had this cancer growing in him for all this time without being noticed is, in my opinion, absurd. It just can’t happen with medical care at that level. In my personal opinion, I don’t believe Biden has cancer at all. This is just to divert attention away from the hur report and tapper’s book and to give Biden sympathy so people will ignore what those reports say. You heard it here first…

Nothing wrong with Osteopaths. They serve the same residency program as MDs. And there are some MDs I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them
My opinion, for what it's worth, is that Biden and his handpicked doc KNEW he had prostate cancer. They agreed not to include a PSA or other notice of the condition on any medical reports that would be made public.

In an ideal world, which it isn’t, PSA should be checked yearly from about fifty until about age seventy, as prostate cancer tends to be more agressive in younger men, and sometimes treatable. A digital exam to check for palpable nodule and for blood in stool should also be done annually as a rule. Over age seventy or so, every several years is sufficient. A sharp increase suggests metastasis, for which there are variably effective treatment approaches. If we live long enough, we usually die with, not from, prostate or other problems.

I think we should all stop focusing on who knew what when. That's EXACTLY what the left wants us to do---get all distracted and bogged down in details that will NEVER be answered truthfully. Resist the urge to take their bait and instead question WHY they disclosed the Dx NOW. They had to know in advance that revealing a cancer Dx would create chaos and confusion. They could've stayed mum, but they chose not to. WHY?

We have to go back to the ol Billy Jeff Clintoon parsing. "The last known" test probably means that he was tested, but the results were covered up, i.e. unknown tests. Or as Rumsfeld might point out, we have our known knows and our unknown knowns. Or that might be the Biden version of a Rumsfeld quote.
