WASHINGTON — Joe Biden was never diagnosed with prostate cancer until last week, and the last time he was screened for it was more than a decade ago, a spokesperson for the former president said Tuesday. “President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014. Prior to Friday, President Biden had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer,” the spokesperson said. (Snip) In recent years, doctors have increasingly begun screening for the disease in older patients. President Donald Trump, 78, received a PSA screening as recently as this year, according to medical records released by the White House. Since he revealed his

If that's the last time he had a PSA his doctor should loose his/her medical license. This is looking like an attempt to generate favorable publicity to counter the Hur report.

The PSA test is a normal part of a comprehensive blood panel for men. It is simply not believable that this was never tested in any of Biden's physical exams.

I can believe it, simply because once they find cancer, why do they need to keep taking a blood test to see if you're prone to getting it? 10 years after diagnosis? He has a slow growing tumor that took 10 years to kill him; prostate cancer is like that and it's only "aggressive" like his type is when it's your time to check out.

Of course it's not believable but they're just throwing anything at the proverbial wall right now to see what sticks. The bigger question is WHY they made the cancer announcement when they did. They certainly didn't have to---they were doing just fine without the public knowing. There has to be a reason for the disclosure; they must be terribly worried about something that's far more significant than when he had his last PSA.

There was always the two step process for '24. Use Joe as the scare crow and capture the WH again using the 2024 MO. Then divulge his cancer and in a heroic, sympathy generating act he could resign and hand the country over to the hapless Kamala and gloriously ride into the sunset. The puppet would change, the puppeteers will be the same. Neat trick! Except that the infamous debate threw a monkey wrench into the works. We must find out who put Joe up to it and thank them.

I call BS on this. For one of the most closely monitored persons in the world, you can bet he had a simple PSA test and doctors were aware of a problem. At the age of 71 my PSA reached a level of concern so I did the 28 radiation treatments and I am a low level nothing person. The PSA test is so simple and routine there is no reason why doctors wouldn't have been giving him one on a regular basis.

We have been gaslit so much by the Biden side of the table, it is hard to separate fact from fiction. Truth is, the prostate is common cause of males as they age. And occasional psa tests are a conservative path to catch prostate cancers early…to allow treatment to prevent a premature and painful death…whether or not insurance pays for them. Truth also is that prostate cancer, caught early, is treatable in older males (2 of my neighbors, mid 80’s were recently treated effectively…. yes it might recur when they are over 100, but that is still good years of happy living. Back to Biden’s case. None of us know, nor will we know, what was known and when it was known. All we do know is is political life is over, and the future of his former bp has been scrambled. Perhaps, tho, psa screening should be elevated as a test to be performed on older males…the cost benefit ratio seems good, perhaps even better than the “draw the clock” test

I think he's a victim of our incompetent CDC. Here's a link to the CDC website that says: Men who are 70 and older should not be screened for prostate cancer routinely. https://www.cdc.gov/prostate-cancer/screening/get-screened.html#:~:text=In%202018%2C%20the%20US%20Preventive,specific%20antigen%20(PSA)%20test. Huh? That's news to me. They actually explain why: They say, (no joke), that screening may "cause men to worry about their health". They then go on to say that if they screen and if the PSA is high, that the next step would be a biopsy and they don't recommend biopsies on men over 70. The CDC though doesn't mention that an MRI is also available and non-evasive. MD Anderson (cancer institute in Houston) recommends PSA with followup MRIs So, conceivably, yeah, he hasn't had PSA tests done since 2014. Sounds to me like we shouldn't listen to the CDC. l

You know how Biden‘s cancer diagnosis is all over the news right now? Well they are saying about the timing that with the Hur report dropping and also Jake Tapper’s tell all book just coming out where he talks about the huge scandal of the White House personnel and the media covering up that Biden had dementia. I think this is just too pat, just too convenient that this cancer diagnosis has been revealed right now at this time. The odds that Joe Biden had this cancer growing in him for all this time without being noticed is, in my opinion, absurd. It just can’t happen with medical care at that level. In my personal opinion, I don’t believe Biden has cancer at all. This is just to divert attention away from the hur report and tapper’s book and to give Biden sympathy so people will ignore what those reports say. You heard it here first…

And there are some MDs I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them My opinion, for what it's worth, is that Biden and his handpicked doc KNEW he had prostate cancer. In an ideal world, which it isn’t, PSA should be checked yearly from about fifty until about age seventy, as prostate cancer tends to be more agressive in younger men, and sometimes treatable. A digital exam to check for palpable nodule and for blood in stool should also be done annually as a rule. Over age seventy or so, every several years is sufficient. A sharp increase suggests metastasis, for which there are variably effective treatment approaches. If we live long enough, we usually die with, not from, prostate or other problems.

We have to go back to the ol Billy Jeff Clintoon parsing. "The last known" test probably means that he was tested, but the results were covered up, i.e. unknown tests. Or as Rumsfeld might point out, we have our known knows and our unknown knowns. Or that might be the Biden version of a Rumsfeld quote.

The Los Angeles City Council voted Wednesday to approve a sweeping package of minimum wage increases for workers in the tourism industry, despite objections from business leaders who warned that the region is already facing a slowdown in international travel. The proposal, billed by labor leaders as the highest minimum wage in the country, would require hotels with more than 60 rooms, as well as companies doing business at Los Angeles International Airport, to pay their workers $30 per hour by 2028. That translates to a 48% hike in the minimum wage for hotel employees over three years. Airport workers

MIAMI BEACH, Florida — Activist and philanthropist Abigail Disney urged donors and the leaders of major foundations and nonprofits to be braver with their giving, especially at a time when more are fearful about speaking their minds. (Snip) Disney told The Associated Press in an interview before the panel that she planned to be more outspoken because “everyone has been so quiet since the election.” Many question why major donors and foundations have not reacted faster to the Trump administration’s cuts to foreign aid and federal funding to nonprofits, though some organizations, like the Marguerite Casey Foundation, have opted to

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace claimed Wednesday on “Deadline” that President Donald Trump humiliated the people of the United States during his Oval Office meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Wallace said, “Another day for the history books today from Donald J. Trump. An astonishing display from him in the White House today Donald Trump meeting with the president of South Africa and attempting to ambush and humiliate that leader inside the Oval Office. But what he did instead was embarrass and humiliate the people of the United States of America again, in his meeting with President Ramaphosa,

Federal judges have recently halted a number of President Donald Trump’s executive orders and White House initiatives, setting off a firestorm of debate over how far judges’ power should go. As it turns out, most Americans of virtually all political persuasions think that judges should have the power to delay a president’s moves, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In its April 30-May 2 national online poll of 1,400 voters, I&I/TIPP posed the following statement and question: “Federal district judges are appointed by the president, confirmed by the Senate, and serve lifetime terms. There are currently 677 such judges in the U.S.
The last 8 members of Congress to die
in office have all been Democrats

In the last two and a half years, eight sitting members of the House or Senate have died in office. Every time, it's been a Democrat. Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, died on Wednesday at 75, after a battle with esophageal cancer. He's the third House Democrat to die in the last three months. If Democrats had gained a narrow 1 or 2-seat majority in 2024, they would have lost it by now. The streak of Democratic deaths could just be something of a coincidence. After all, there are plenty of elderly

I have no idea how to comprehend this act of incompetence. Last Friday, severe storms rolled into St. Louis. A tornado touched down and struck the northern part of the city—and there were no warning sirens. The tornado alarm system was never activated. It wasn’t due to a computer glitch. It was human error: the emergency management director, Sarah Russell, essentially forgot to turn it on, but it gets worse: the staff wasn’t even in the office. Russell contacted the fire department to initiate the system, but this was a shambolic failure

A favorite Lily Tomlin line was made for this moment: “No matter how cynical you get, it is impossible to keep up.” She could have been talking about the Biden White House. Those of us who were long convinced that aides were hiding the president’s cognitive decline weren’t cynical enough. We also needed to believe they were hiding other serious ailments, such as prostate cancer. Hmm, what else didn’t we suspect that we should have? Whatever it is, the odds are soaring that we are going to find out.

In March, President Donald Trump announced a full halt to U.S. foreign aid to South Africa, citing the government’s racially charged abuse of white Afrikaner farmers. He blasted the regime for orchestrated land seizures and escalating violence, calling the country “a bad place to be right now.” At the same time, he offered a fast track to U.S. citizenship for South African farmers and their families seeking safety from persecution. The black-led South African government has flatly denied any campaign of anti-white violence, brushing off the attacks as fiction and painting any criticism as offensive. But the facts on the ground — brutal murders, farm invasions,
Why Do Leftists Think That Train Travel

Several years ago, I was getting ready to travel to Austin, Texas, for a conference. Just out of curiosity, I looked into getting there by train. Amtrak was the only option, of course. My trip to Austin would take 36 hours, and the route was something like Atlanta to Washington to Chicago to Austin. It would also cost twice as much as flying. Needless to say, Amtrak was totally out as an option. Despite its impracticality and expense, the left loves to romanticize train travel. I think much of it because left-wing media types all live in the Acela corridor, where passenger rail infrastructure is plentiful.

An effort to sink President Donald Trump’s pick to head the IRS found a Democrat senator closing with an allegation of recorded conversations. Since the president’s return to the White House, the left has seemingly jumped at every opportunity to obstruct the America First agenda with lawsuits and delay tactics. Tuesday, as the Senate Finance Committee considered the nomination for IRS commissioner, ranking member Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden (D) saw fit to level an allegation in his closing remarks. “Our staff investigators have on tape now, tax promoters saying you met with him at the inauguration and promised him a favorable private letter ruling,”

President Donald Trump forced the President of the Republic of South Africa to watch videos of the country’s leaders calling for the genocide of white farmers during a meeting in the Oval Office on Wednesday. South African president Cyril Ramaphosa visited Trump for a bilateral meeting as well as a private lunch. In the middle of their public conversation, Trump ordered his staff to dim the lights and play videos of “genocide in South Africa” for attendees of the meeting. The video montage showed different clips of political leaders from the minority party in South Africa calling for killing the Boers...

Former Mesa County Clerk and Gold Star Mother, Tina Peters, is sitting in prison right now for preserving her own election records following the 2020 election before Dominion Voting Systems and Colorado Secretary of State, Jenna Griswold, could come in and erase them. Peters was following state and federal law to preserve those records. Trump’s DOJ has filed a statement of interest in Peter’s case, and President Trump himself has called attention to the fact that the persecution of Tina Peters is nothing more than Democrats covering up their own election crimes

Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended the Trump administration's reorganization of what he calls the U.S. "foreign aid industrial complex" during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Tuesday. Rubio said previously at USAID, "only 12 cents of every dollar was reaching the recipient." "We still will provide more foreign aid, more humanitarian support, than the next 10 countries combined... and far more than China," he said, disputing the argument that the U.S. is handing over soft power to China by cutting foreign aid. "China doesn’t do humanitarian aid. China does predatory lending."
