Jeffrey Epstein and trust in the government

Original Article

Ah, Jeffrey Epstein. We finally have an official statement from our own side, and it contradicts every last thing our own side has believed now for years. Let’s all approach this analytically. I would be willing to bet that no one reading this right now was there in that jail cell. No one reading right now was on the island, on the plane, or anywhere else relevant to the case. We have secondhand knowledge at best. It is easy to believe a conspiracy theory. It is hard to admit it if you are wrong. Do I think serious crimes were committed? Yes.

Until I see ONE consequential arrest (and lots to follow) I am just going with Ka$h, Bjjonino, Blondie and Trump are Idiots/Corrupt. There is NO 5D Chess unless it is demonstrably shown. Heard this cope his entire first term. Still waiting for them to "Lock her up!" Oh that's right, he called us losers for believing that.

Hi #1, thanks for all that hard hitting, fact filled useful information about Trump. After a life time of conservatism you have made me completely change my mind about everything! Wow! Just like that in a single fact free post because that's how dumb we are on the right. Visiting us from where? MSN? Vox? CNN? Yahoo message boards? Bluesky? Patel and Bongino do not have experience running the FBI. Those that do have gotten to them and advised them to follow "the process", which is to silo all information, promise that it is in process (which is never finished), and justify it as getting it right (DC's current favorite phrase), and protecting victims. The FBI "process" is why we elected Trump to appoint someone that didn't follow the same "process" as Christopher Wray. Patel and Bongino should stop and think about the motives of those in the FBI advising them to follow the "process". There has been a great amount of criminal activity at the FBI, and it needs to cleaned out, not moved to a new HQ's building.

Okay #2 I'll bite. Tell me EXACTLY what I posted that was FACTUALLY incorrect. If you are the conservative you claim to be, how can you square ANY of Trump's fiscal policies? I'm all ears on how continuing Biden's spending levels is just so MAGA. I don't worship politicians. When any one breaks enough promises, I'm DONE. Trump and MAGA Mike Johnson come in with promises of balancing the budget. Now the two are blithering about trillions more of debt. PER YEAR. Then Trump has the gall to go after the ONE guy that call out the insane spending. And seriously, the infantile argument style of calling anyone that disagrees with your Messiah a liberal, tells me I struck a chord of truth. If there was a way to go back in to a commenter's history here, I've been popping on here for a 15 years I'd guess. You know what never changed? My position on the government overspending, over-reaching and generally wanting them out of mine and your life. So anyway, by MAGA standards I am now a Liberal because I oppose financing Obamacare, the Green New Deal, USAID etc. When someone says that they're going to shutter the FBI, PBS, the DOE but then demands to have them all funded and I want to hold them to their word, that also makes me a Lib? Man, MAGA is one H3ll of a Drug.

Folks, I expect there is a lot of damning information in the "Epstein Files." But if you're looking for a document that says, here's who set him up, how he got his loot, and who helped him in the government, I think you're going to be seriously disappointed. I expect the files will raise more questions than they answer. Ditto for the JFK, RFK, UFO, MLK and 9-11 files.

FTA: we have two choices: Believe that Epstein killed himself. Believe that Epstein did not kill himself. That is it. Those are our choices. Here are the other choices in this matter: Believe that the current administration is being honest. Believe that the current administration is not being honest. That is also it. I trust PDJT. He has never given reason not to trust his love of the American Ideal and his efforts to MAGA. No one has ever worked harder toward accomplishing that goal. I trust most of the members of this administration to honestly and diligently work toward accomplishing the promises PDJT made to the voters. I may not trust each one of them as confidently as he does, but he knows them while I don’t. I pray his trust is justified, and that they will do an honest job for him, his voters, and our country. They are fighting against very determined foes, and years of damage - some still ongoing. May God bless good to prevail, and to Him be the glory.

After the interest, disgust and attendant suspicion of malevolent foreign or domestic intelligence involvement in the murky Epstein case, a case which involves American leadership at the highest levels, it is important that the citizenry have conclusions explained carefully and publicly. Off-topic, almost throwaway comments by Patel and Bongino on a cable news business show that Epstein committed suicide, as if no further explanation is warranted, is insufficient. We need a thorough explanation of why Bongino and Patel believe what they do to reassure a sorely abused public that we finally have honest governance with the Trump administration. I don’t suspect that B&P are themselves untrustworthy. If they are misleading the public I think it would be in the interest of a greater good such as quietly laying a case against unsuspecting felons, but the distrust of the public could be a price too high for even that reason. They need to explain their conclusions.

Your post was fact free. The rest of your post is straw man and ad hominem as well. You never said where you're visiting from because you're certainly not a regular poster here even if you have occasionally posted generic "I'm a real conservative and I hate maga and you're all dumb" rage bait. This is not the only message board me or many others here read. We've seen your type many times. "I'm a life long conservative and ". On the contrary, I spend way more time on lefty message boards than here so I see it all the time. I come here to detox from the swill being pushed by the hard left every day many of whom sound exactly like what we're seeing here from you. But it was nice of you to dine back and try again and insert some stuff about the budget which had absolutely nothing to do with this Epstein article. Good try. I'm now deeply violating L posting policy as I understand it and will not reply again. Sorry, management, I had to this once.

Epstein is dead. That's a fact. How he got there is irrelevant to the fact than no man has been indicted for sexual activities with minors on the island. That's a fact. Yes: They locked up Epstein's procurer. That's a fact. The next fact is what #4 said. Quote:" The only certainty is that we will never get the truth, at least not from the government. 1) Believe that Epstein killed himself. 2) Believe that Epstein did not kill himself. There is another choice. 3) Epstein is alive. It sounds like a fantastical conspiracy theory but after what I 've seen the last decade I think that it's possible. There are two reasons that Kash and Dan would say that Epstein killed himself. 1) Epstein really did kill himself. 2) Trump was involved with Epstein.

As per Mr Alan Dershowitz yesterday stated: "we need to release ALL the videos (Epstein videoed everything in his houses) so people can see for themselves who is involved" I think, personally, that we should first get the list of names of persons on tape/dvd/whatever - expose them, arrest and trial and prison time, shouldn't matter who it is or how far up the food chain they are, the situation (prob still ongoing) involving children and trafficking needs to stop immediately. I don't care if it brings down governments/nations/whatever, it HAS to stop. The world would be a better place. No need to hasten the Apocalypse - We can, and must expose and eliminate this evil from the earth God save us.

I'm not surprised that they are still busy sanitizing and redacting all of the documentation of the Epstein saga. We still can't get the whole truth about an assassination that occurred in 1963 due to the connections to Russia, Cuba, the CIA, the Mafia, a confused communist ex-marine, an ambitious vice president and the US Government itself. Each has a stake in protecting its own reputation and JFK had many enemies. Still, some good came from it, presidents don't ride around in convertibles any more. The Epstein suicide carries many mysteries, much like the Trump assassination attempt in Butler. You can't trust what they loudly proclaim is "the truth."

I don't recall Patel or Bongino saying we made our initial judgments in haste. We were wrong. Epstein's ties with the Bill Barr family, CIA, etc means we will never know the truth. And I will say this for Secretary of Transportation Duffy - I don't know of one instance in which he attacked over and over again the men and women of DOT, never said he was going to take it down. But we have Patel on record on many occasions saying exactly that and voila - he gets sworn in as FBI Director and he just cannot get enough love to his agents. hmmm

I'm in. Facts in criminal cases are elusive. Whether dead or not, he is doing a great impression of a dead person. But that's a side issue. What is causing a divide is the expectation of being able to see source evidence that was promised to us. Pertinent to this divide is the fact that we have been lied to so deeply and with such serious consequences by the government that this administration faced an up-hill battle to gain respect enough to cause trust. It was understood that the issue of trust was a key element to any finding. There was a promise that evidence of the finding would be provided; The demand for evidence was heightened by the lie that the evidence was being combed in preparation for release. It went so far as AG Bondi stating that the Epstein evidence was 'on her desk' and that it was complete and would be released; and that it was released as shown by people holding very official looking "evidence." It was contrived in an attempt to fool us and they treated us like we were stupid. Bondi went on camera and, taking a trick from the Clintons', looked us straight in the eye, and lied. With the result that as, one poster stated, can anyone tell the truth? I think poster #13 did when saying that this article says nothing. Obviously, Bondi and Patel are feeling so much heat to release the "list" that they felt forced to say something, so they lied. Tom Fitton, of Judicial Watch called it, when he said they are lying to us. Judicial Watch is suing Bondi to release the evidence. Does that sound like transparency? Did Epstein kill himself? That's not the question. This administration has been caught in a major lie, and in responding to the claim, they are trying to lie their way out of it. Contrary to what Bondi and Patel think, we are smart enough to figure it out for ourselves when we see the evidence. The question, can we trust this administration? All the people who jumped the dem ship and voted for Trump, understand the question.

The Patriot Act: America’s Trojan horse

When the smoke was still rising from the rubble of the Twin Towers, the American people were reeling, grieving—and vulnerable. That vulnerability was weaponized. In one of the most cunning bait-and-switch maneuvers in modern history, our government handed us the Patriot Act—an Orwellian surveillance framework disguised as national defense. We didn’t just get conned—we got conquered. Not by terrorists from abroad, but by tyrants in suits. The Patriot Act was born less than two months after 9/11, passed with breakneck speed, virtually unread by the very members of Congress who signed it into law.

The case of AARP v. Trump dealt with one of the many attempts to secure via forum-shopping that which the far left could never achieve at the ballot box:

It’s for this reason that Trump gave visas to a paltry 58 white South Africans, sending the Democrats—the same ones who’ve been complacent as upwards of 32 million illegal aliens breached our borders—into paroxysms of race-based rage.

In March, I wrote about how Democrats’ schizophrenic treatment of women’s sports—both existential and irrelevant, depending on the news cycle—was a political liability that helped cost them the 2024 election.
