Megyn Kelly was tough but fair. It was a reckoning that was long overdue for an industry that did work to cover up Joe Biden’s apparent health issues. The mental health scheme was something we’ve been saying for years. A minor fall—okay? But the incidents where Joe Biden exhibited signs of aging, dementia, and a degrading memory are too numerous. Something was wrong. We were right, and the legacy press was wrong. This is often the case, but this one was the equivalent of no one noticing the elephant in the room. No, it was knowing the elephant was present

Jake ‘the snake’ says to Megyn that “he called Laura Trump,” but who can, or should, believe him? I’d love to hear from Laura exactly what Jake said, and let’s hope there’s an audiotape to go with it!

Maybe, just maybe, if this was a one-off, I'd say, ok, you missed this one.
But the corporate, legacy, drive-by media z
"missed" or dismissed so many stories to benefit their Democrat masters that is beyond coincidence.

The big bold Tapper looked awful and sounded like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. How the self-styled "mighty" do crash and burn.

Can we stop with saying this was a "coverup." It was gaslighting - pure and simple. We all saw, who did not watch legacy media, that he was fumbling physically and mentally since at least 2020, if not earlier and never being a very smart man - wouldn't take much for his mental decline to become obvious. And now Jake, et al are beating their chests with their phony mea culpas as if we're too stupid to see through their schtick.

Tapper purposely misuses the word "humility" to describe his actions on the cover up. If he were honest, the word would be EMBARRASSED ...

His job is objectivity which he displayed gross incompetence in and his followers will still follow.

Would sportswriters fail to mention the daily poor performance of a major athlete based on sunny assurances from the coaching staff? That is what happened with the media's coverage of Biden. Blaming his staff for their silence will never absolve their malpractice.

Yeah #5.... I was so tired of Tapper's overuse of "humility"; however since no one on the left could ever admit to being ashamed of anything they do or say, this is the closest Tapper could come. Maybe he believes humility and shame are synonyms and Megyn would give him points for being "humble".

RE dem insiders: "They justified to themselves what they had done...by saying that there was this existential threat of Donald Trump, and only Joe Biden could beat Donald Trump, and that justified everything in their minds."
Many in the media said the same thing. They claimed with the THREAT of Trump, they were justified to set aside the rules for balanced reporting ...AND THEY DID. See what it got them? They were lying and now they are being held accountable and "Wah Wah Wah" they don't like it.
Further, they didn't just get a "story" wrong, they abandoned their raison d'être, to inform the public with accurate information. This is not surprising because the strong tilt of the media is now to "make a difference" and to "influence" and they have decided the "difference" they want to make is in a hard Left direction. AND they are still doing it. They are angry that people are asking them to give up their bias and return to neutral reporting. They still think they are correct in pushing their lies. As their management pressures them to be more neutral their response is FURY!
"Yet, what cannot be resolved is that the media knew about this and did nothing."
And most of them are still doing nothing or actively resisting reality and responsibility.
"this Mickey Mouse con job is over"
Well, it will be when the propaganda media is ground into dust and blows away.

And yet the book will still sell like hot-cakes because every public library system in the country will buy 40 copies. Ensconced liberals taking care of their own...

“Joe Biden has been saying stupid things for decades.”
And you still thought that he was qualified to be president, Jake. What does that say about you?

I admit to being cynical at this point, but …
We are allowing the legacy media to evade the much more nefarious truth. They were utterly cognizant of Joe Biden’s mental state … as were his handlers.
This wasn’t an, “Oops,” moment, or a, “gosh darn it, our elderly President is losing his mind, what should we do?” moment.
They knew. And they knew it for a very long time.
Which means that everything—from the pre-campaign planning, to the infamous Trump debate, to the, “abrupt,” resignation from the 2025 candidacy—were not the gradual and unfortunate symptoms of a deteriorating executive.
They knew.
If true, that can only mean one thing: a Manchurian-like intent …
Just sayin’ :-/

I didn't really get tough from Megyn. She shouldn't have allowed the creep on her platform. Anyone who interviews him is helping him hawk his book.

Yes , #15. Quite a few commenters during her show agreed with her. Today as she dissected the Tapper interview with Victor David Hansen, my husband and I laughed as she stated the sharp responses to Tapper she failed to do to his face. He went on to sell a few more books and I was disappointed she helped him.

I miss Michelle Malkin.
She needs to hit Jake Tapper up beside the head with her clue-by-four.
