The Patriot Act: America’s Trojan horse
for tyranny

Original Article

When the smoke was still rising from the rubble of the Twin Towers, the American people were reeling, grieving—and vulnerable. That vulnerability was weaponized. In one of the most cunning bait-and-switch maneuvers in modern history, our government handed us the Patriot Act—an Orwellian surveillance framework disguised as national defense. We didn’t just get conned—we got conquered. Not by terrorists from abroad, but by tyrants in suits. The Patriot Act was born less than two months after 9/11, passed with breakneck speed, virtually unread by the very members of Congress who signed it into law.

Our own government has cost us more than the terrorists could even dream of. And they keep voting for it.

For the same reasons Congress authorized the creation of the TSA with the argument that security would be better if airport screeners were all federal employees (thanks to Norm Mineta). The argument was that TSA would hire more skilled people and train them better. Republicans insisted TSA employees be US citizens. The scam was exposed when Democrats realized that many screeners would lose their jobs so, fast-tracked them to citizenship (thank you, Diane Feinstein). So America ended up with the same screeners who, within two years were all unionized. Next time you have to take your shoes and belt off at the airport, you'll know that it isn't your security they're focused on.

I despise that "Act." Imagine the un-Constitutional nature of that law for a moment, as it is a direct violation of the 4th Amendment forbidding the Federal Government from "un-warranted" search/seizure/spying on American citizens without probable cause. Now consider that our National Security Agency (NSA), which is the largest, most sophisticated, spying organization in the world, listens to EVERYTHING over the broadcast airwaves, as well as the Internet, and other communications media. There is almost nothing they can't eavesdrop on or hack into. They do not discriminate, regarding whom the spy on, they just gather information, based largely on specific keywords, etc. that get used within the transmission. From that they can backtrack to the phone, radio, computer, that was making the communication and on to who belongs to that device. They feed that "raw" information to the FBI, NSC, DHS, etc. for them to conduct deeper investigation, sometimes after they get a search warrant, sometimes not. They've been doing that since well before the "Patriot Act," reference to author, James Bamford's breakthrough book, published in 1982, "The Puzzle Palace." The Patriot Act was a Deep State/Globalist "stake in the ground" toward the establishment of a worldwide Tyranny State. You can see that Europe is well ahead of the USA in that effort, but that's only because European men are girly-boys who are totally compliant to "big government" and "professional politicians." The USA should show the world just how a nation should throw off the shackles and execute, as traitors, those who attempted to enslave our citizenry.

When City Hall Chooses the Mob 11 replies

In Seattle last weekend, violence broke out—not from the pulpit, but from the pavement. Pastors and churchgoers, gathered for a permitted worship event in a city park, found themselves besieged by a black-clad mob who attempted to tear down fencing, rush the stage, and shout them down. The attackers were not counter-protesters in any constitutional sense of the word. They were masked militants whose tactics have become a hallmark of Antifa: organized, aggressive, and aimed not at persuasion but suppression. To their credit, the Seattle police intervened. Arrests were made. Barricades held. For a moment, law reasserted itself in a city too long governed by hesitation.

In a brief return to Britain, I was concerned to see that London has undergone a dramatic demographic change. The city of my birth is visibly more Muslim than it was even four years ago. On the Tube, I saw more hijabs than baseball caps. The Muslim niqab -- with its full face covering -- is no longer rare. For decades, Brits have not been allowed to question the wisdom of importing large numbers of people into a western society who do not share western values. (Brits who do so on social media risk going to prison).

Disgraced former FBI Director, James Comey, mysteriously found seashells on his beach walk listing the numbers, “8647,” which to any half-aware person means, “Assassinate President Trump.” Comey posted on Instagram, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk…” and then after push back, he removed it and posted an imbecilic excuse stating, “I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of any kind, so I took the post down.” What a deranged idiot! It’s time to wear the Trump hats again stating, “Trump was right about everything,” concerning firing Comey

Judge James C. Ho of the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has given voice to what many of us have seen developing over the recent past with the present make-up of the Supreme Court — a not-so-subtle dislike of President Trump, to put it mildly, and an inexplicable tendency to bend over backwards to give members of designated terrorist groups such as Tren de Aragua the benefit of every conceivable doubt. The case of AARP v. Trump dealt with one of the many attempts to secure via forum-shopping that which the far left could never achieve at the ballot box:

As you’ve no doubt heard, when South Africa’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa, appeared in the White House yesterday, President Trump challenged him on the fact that South Africa’s white farmers are being targeted with a new land confiscation law, and are also the victims of targeted attacks, another layer of hazard in a land rife with violent crime. It’s for this reason that Trump gave visas to a paltry 58 white South Africans, sending the Democrats—the same ones who’ve been complacent as upwards of 32 million illegal aliens breached our borders—into paroxysms of race-based rage.

Ed Martin’s nomination to serve as DC Attorney was nuked by Republican Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC). He was in office on an interim basis. Trump selected Jeanine Pirro to replace Martin, who is now a pardon attorney and helming the Department of Justice’s weaponization task force. Martin is looking at Biden’s pardons, specifically the ones issued toward the end of his presidency. They might not be legal. It comes off allegations that Biden aides might have illegally used the autopen. President Trump has asked who was behind the autopen since it’s become clear that Joe Biden was not mentally cogent enough to know what was going on (via The Hill):

If Democrats in Vacationland thought the censure of Rep. Laurel Libby would put an end to the education policy debate surrounding Title IX—and the participation of biological men in women’s sports—they’ve misread the moment, misread federal law, and badly misread their voters. What was meant to silence dissent has only amplified it. What was supposed to end the debate has cracked it wide open. In March, I wrote about how Democrats’ schizophrenic treatment of women’s sports—both existential and irrelevant, depending on the news cycle—was a political liability that helped cost them the 2024 election. Today, in Maine, that liability is becoming a full-blown revolt.

Megyn Kelly was tough but fair. It was a reckoning that was long overdue for an industry that did work to cover up Joe Biden’s apparent health issues. The mental health scheme was something we’ve been saying for years. A minor fall—okay? But the incidents where Joe Biden exhibited signs of aging, dementia, and a degrading memory are too numerous. Something was wrong. We were right, and the legacy press was wrong. This is often the case, but this one was the equivalent of no one noticing the elephant in the room. I would be willing to bet that no one reading this right now was there in that jail cell. No one reading right now was on the island, on the plane, or anywhere else relevant to the case. We have secondhand knowledge at best. It is easy to believe a conspiracy theory. It is hard to admit it if you are wrong. Do I think serious crimes were committed? Yes.

Seemed credible at the time. Seems more credible now. Here’s how Amazon describes his non-fiction book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership: In his book, former FBI director James Comey shares his never-before-told experiences from some of the highest-stakes situations of his career in the past two decades of American government, exploring what good, ethical leadership looks like, and how it drives sound decisions.

WASHINGTON — A federal court on Wednesday blocked President Donald Trump from imposing sweeping tariffs on imports under an emergency-powers law, swiftly throwing into doubt Trump’s signature set of economic policies that have rattled global financial markets, frustrated trade partners and raised broader fears about inflation intensifying and the economy slumping. The ruling from a three-judge panel at the New York-based U.S. Court of International Trade came after several lawsuits arguing Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs exceeded his authority and left the country’s trade policy dependent on his whims. Trump has repeatedly said the tariffs would force manufacturers to bring back factory jobs to the U.S.

While COVID-19 cases dominated headlines and hospital beds, flu diagnoses plummeted to "too low to estimate," according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, with later estimates at a mere 2000. That’s not just a statistical anomaly -- it’s a statistical impossibility. From an estimated 48 million cases in 2019–2020, the flu dropped to 2000 cases, statistically zero, in 2020–2021, amounting to a 99.999998% decrease --

Its monarchs were familiar: President Barack Obama with his golden tongue and cool detachment, Nancy Pelosi with her iron gavel, and a press corps that never met a Democrat it couldn’t describe as “historic.” Together, they built something. Not a movement but an illusion. Now, in the wake of President Joe Biden’s implosion and Donald Trump’s return to the White House, the spell has broken. What was once ironclad unity has dissolved into whispered recriminations, panicked donor calls, and a leadership vacuum the size of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Some of the advanced weapon systems that allies have supplied to Ukraine during the 3-year war were subject to range and target restrictions — a fraught political issue stemming from fears that if the weapons struck deep inside Russia, the Kremlin might retaliate against the country that provided them and draw NATO into Europe’s biggest conflict since World War II.
