Newly released audio from then-President Joe Biden’s lengthy interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur captures Biden’s diminished mental acuity in his failure to recall the year his son Beau passed away, the year his vice presidency ended, the year President Donald Trump was first elected, and why he possessed certain classified documents.
Biden’s long pauses and incoherent ramblings in response to light questioning from Hur are apparent in over four minutes of audio first reported by Axios on Friday night. The partial release fulfills expectations that the Trump administration would finally disclose the long-anticipated interview tape after Biden’s administration obstructed its disclosure at every turn.

We reported earlier how some of the audio from Special Counsel Robert Hur team's interview with Joe Biden had been released by Alex Thompson, one of the authors of the new book about Biden, "Original Sin."
That audio segment dealt with how confused Biden was, even over such a pivotal moment as when his son died. As you may recall, Biden later didn't tell the truth and attacked the Hur team for mentioning his son, but the audio shows that yes, indeed, it was Biden who brought up his son. Biden also had confusion over things like when President Donald Trump first took office.

Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador is sounding the alarm on a dangerous and deeply disturbing criminal network known as 764, which is targeting children through widely used online platforms. In a move that puts public safety over political correctness, Labrador is urging parents to stay vigilant as the FBI warns of the group’s growing reach and disturbing tactics. Labrador stated that the 764 network preys on children aged 9 to 17, coercing them into sharing explicit content or participating in self-harm, which is then used for blackmail and ongoing exploitation.

As it turns out, Pope Leo XIV is Catholic.
The U.S.-born pontiff delivered an address Friday to the Vatican diplomatic corps where he affirmed that marriage is between a man and a woman, and emphasized the dignity of unborn children and the elderly.
“It is the responsibility of government leaders to work to build harmonious and peaceful civil societies. This can be achieved above all by investing in the family, founded upon the stable union between a man and a woman, ‘a small but genuine society, and prior to all civil society,'” Pope Leo XIV said, with a reference to Pope Leo XIII’s Rerum Novarum encyclical.

The Democrats just seem to blunder from gaffe to mistake to screw-up to complete Charlie Foxtrots these days. This, at the moment, is a political party that can't win for losing, and when you see who they seem to look to for leadership, ranging from a loudmouth former bartender from Brooklyn to a noodle-armed loudmouth from Florida, it hardly comes as a surprise.
Notice the common characteristic there? There is an old saying that goes, "An empty vessel makes the most noise," and if we apply that truism, today's Democratic Party sounds like 10,000 dirty hippies pounding with wooden clubs on the sides of an empty oil tanker.

One of the biggest stories to come out of Washington, D.C. in a while is the books, most of them written by mainstream media types, with the help of various assorted insiders and aides, that are "revealing" (now that it is safe) just how bad Joe Biden's mental state was becoming during his four years in the White House. Add to that the number of Americans who thought that at 82, Joe Biden was just too old to run for reelection. Unfortunately, old age sneaks up on all of us. But don't tell that to several members of Congress, who are older than Joe Biden and refuse to quit.

If this week in politics has taught us anything, it's this: every Democrat hoping to be elected or reelected to higher office in the next few election cycles needs to come clean about Joe Biden's cognitive decline and any role they may have played in the cover up.
Yes, it's scandalous that the media committed its worst malpractice yet by gaslighting the American people about Biden's quite obvious deterioration before and during his time in office, but Democrats also need to fess up about the role they, individually and as a party, played in lying to the nation. So far, all we're getting from the likes of Democrat Party leaders

Call it the Trump Deputy Takedown Op.(snip)And so it is now with Donald Trump’s upstart chief diplomat, Steve Witkoff. Almost overnight and out of nowhere, Witkoff has become a star of the second Trump administration, the man who broke Foggy Bottom’s stranglehold on American diplomacy and showed that radical new approaches could be attempted and, more importantly, get results.

Ed Martin was on his way to doing what so many before him promised but never dared: cleaning up DC. President Trump picked Martin to serve as US Attorney, and everyone knew what that meant: real accountability, no games, and no mercy for the swamp. But as always, the knives came out, not from the Dems, but from inside the Republican Party.(snip) Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina led the charge to sink Martin’s nomination. And according to Trump, Tillis was working behind the scenes with Democrats to make it happen.
Why would he do that? Because Ed Martin is fearless. He’s America First to the core. And that terrifies the uniparty.

In March, congressional Republicans formally called for the impeachment of Rhode Island Federal Judge John McConnell Jr. This week, America First Legal (AFL) filed a judicial complaint against him, asking Chief Judge David Barron of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit to investigate McConnell.
The AFL complaint describes “apparent conflicts of interest and violations of judicial ethics requirements.” The Federalist has previously detailed some of those concerns.(snip)McConnell didn’t mention that he is a long-time board member and leader at the $31 million nonprofit Crossroads Rhode Island, which gets over half its funding from federal money,

Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, is pulling no punches in her view of the direct threat against President Donald Trump that has been made and promoted by former FBI Director James Comey.
Speaking to Fox News, Director Gabbard outlines that there is “no way” James Comey did not know what his threat post was about. Gabbard notes the “86 47” phrase has been circulating the far-left for several months and Mr Comey is well aware what it means. Director Gabbard says in her view the former FBI director should be arrested and put behind bars. WATCH:

A Wisconsin judge pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges that she helped an illegal immigrant evade federal authorities.
Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan was indicted by a federal grand jury earlier this week on charges of obstruction and and concealing a person of arrest, for which she faces up to six years in prison if convicted. The Trump administration has defended its prosecution against Dugan, asserting that nobody is above the law.
“Judge Dugan asserts her innocence and looks forward to being vindicated in court,” her attorneys said Tuesday. The Wisconsin Supreme Court has temporarily removed Dugan from her post with the case pending.
