The Secret Service may try to force former FBI Director James Comey to answer pointed questions into a social media post he issued depicting an image of “8647,” but a U.S. attorney whom President Trump appointed will determine whether to prosecute Comey over the post. If Comey refuses to comply with their request for what’s known as a protective intelligence interview, the Secret Service leading the investigation into the Instagram post can apply for a subpoena through an assistant U.S. attorney. It’s that prosecutor who will determine whether the former FBI director is legally required to answer their questions, and

Raid his home at 0500, drag him out in his underwear and handcuffs in front of his family and neighbors, and be sure to have media embedded and cameras rolling. No arranging with his attorney in advance to come in for questioning. After all, “no one is above the law”, right?

James Comey ..... August, 2019 "although he did violate agency policy by taking home unclassified memos and ensuring that they would be leaked to the press." "The Office of the Inspector General for the Justice Department investigated Comey for leaking his own memos describing conversations with President Trump to his friend, Daniel Richman, a professor at Columbia University's law school. Richman then provided the contents of the memo to a reporter at The New York Times who wrote about it."

Comey is a vain arsehole who harbors a grudge against Trump who rightly fired him during his first Admin. He let Hillary Clinton skate on espionage charges that I or anyone else would be serving back to back life sentences in a Fed penitentiary somewhere. Now the former head of the FBI is playing with seashells on the beach. 86 47.......it spelled out. And now he's playing dumb, saying he didn't realize what 86 meant. Will the Supreme Court stop radicals in robes from subverting the president and imperiling the separation of powers via rule by universal injunction? Or will it continue allowing any one of 680 district court judges to nullify the votes of tens of millions of Americans by hamstringing the commander in chief with rulings infringing upon his powers to pursue policy and pick personnel? These questions loomed over the Supreme Court on Thursday, as justices heard oral arguments in cases challenging the president’s executive order curtailing birthright citizenship. Those arguments suggest we could be looking at a 5-4 decision hinging on Chief Justice John Roberts — one that could make or break Trump’s

Pundits are confused about what to make of the first 100 days of the second Trump administration. Supporters talk of "flooding the zone," believing President Donald Trump is making so many changes so quickly that his opposition is reduced to deer-in-the-headlights infancy. They must be right when the nation suffers daily Democratic pottymouth videos, vandalism of Teslas, infantile meltdowns at congressional witnesses, rioting against federal agents to protect illegal alien felons, protesting on behalf of women beaters, M-13 gangbangers, human traffickers, and assaulters, and visa-holding violent students praising Hamas terrorists.

What you need to know Germany's new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, is introducing his government's agenda to lawmakers in Germany's parliament, the Bundestag. Elected in a historic second-round vote, he aims for swift action on growth, migration, and defense. He has also described his cabinet's lack of federal experience as a "great opportunity" for real change.

Wars seemed to be breaking out everywhere this week — in Kashmir, Congo, and in a new phase in Gaza. Closer to home, Democrats appear to be opening a hot civil war of their own. AOC and Bernie Sanders want to declare war against oligarchs who, ironically, mostly support Democrats and their causes. The portly Gov. "In light of our church’s steadfast commitment to racial justice and reconciliation and our historic ties with the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, we are not able to take this step," Rowe said of the government's request that the church help resettle the South African citizens.

Secure borders and stationary populations were considered the mark of emerging civilization by classical historians. In contrast to nomadism and constant strife over disputed territory, peoples who had clearly defined and protected borders ascended to statehood, maintained a distinct culture, and achieved greater prosperity and security. In contrast, what we suffered from 2021 to 2025 was unprecedented. It was an intentional administration effort to de-civilize the nation by destroying its borders—as if to return to the premodern era, when there were no clearly defined or secure borders, and nomadic peoples migrated as they pleased.

Republican Senator Thom Tillis has declared he will block President Trump’s choice for the crucial position of US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ed Martin. His no vote will sink the nomination and if Martin isn’t confirmed in time, his replacement reportedly could be chosen by Trump-hating US District judge James Boasberg. Tillis doesn’t even have a plausible reason, telling reporters that his difference with Tillis is over the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Martin believes that some J6ers were unfairly over prosecuted and Tillis believes they all should have been jailed “for absolutely destroying the Capitol” — which never happened.

The first sign of just how revolutionary President Trump’s second term would be actually came two years before his re-election. On June 6, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, delivering pro-life conservatives a victory decades in the making—but which, in the end, was only made possible by Donald Trump. Before Trump’s first term, Republican presidents had displayed a remarkable knack for preserving a pro-Roe majority on the Court: George H.W. Bush more than offset the conservative jurisprudence of Clarence Thomas by appointing Anthony Kennedy and David Souter. And while both of George W. Bush’s appointees voted to reverse Roe, the younger Bush had tried hard
