How it works is the Chief Judge assigns the cases and Boasberg is the Chief Judge. How convenient!

Courts across America have different rules and procedures they follow, but one thing is very common, and that is that judges in particular jurisdiction are randomly assigned when a case is filed. Clearly that does not seem to be happening in many of our federal courts.

I've come to the conclusion that the lottery may assign a case to a judge that may refuse to hear it, or recuse from it and then the case, instead of being dropped, is simply passed on to the next judge in line, who also finds fault, and then on to the next. This sort of puts another spin on 'judge shopping, if true.

A real AG and a real FBI chief, would have already had this judge or his family in the crosshairs or on the ropes for wrongdoings, because he's not gotten where he is because he's pure as driven snow! Plus, he is not adverse to creating laws, so creat some against him. It's a liberal, dem business practice!

A pure form of random assignment may not be possible. It is conceivable that one judge could have one major case fall onto of another, thereby overloading that one judge. Just an example, maybe not the best, but it points to the issue. #8 makes a better case. However, the chief judge has made no effort to respond to the obvious question of propriety of the assignments. This situation reeks of politics and lawfare. The judge is blatantly sticking it to the country and it needs to be dealt with on that level. He is absolutely opening the floodgates to crippling the powers of the executive branch putting it under the complete control of the courts. What is the position of AG Bondi? Does her silence mean she agrees with the situation? I appreciate that the congressmen are at least willing to do what they can. I would like to see America First Legal take a position on this.

If anyone here thought that everything would be running smoothly in Trump's second term just because he won overwhelmingly, you have been in LaLa Land. He is never going to please the left and the media, repeating myself. It's a good thing he knows how to fight and continues to fight. I hope he can hold out for 3 more years, and please, no third term. That would just open it up for the evil left to put Obama back in office.

A few weeks ago, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent rightly pointed out that “Access to cheap goods is not the essence of the American dream. The American dream is rooted in the concept that any citizen can achieve prosperity, upward mobility, and economic security. For too long, the designers of multilateral trade deals have lost sight of this.” His comments received backlash from folks who believe that cheaply made Chinese goods are more important than the health of the American workforce and the longevity of our domestic economy. Former Vice President Mike Pence jumped on the bandwagon in an interview with CNN to declare that “Cheap goods are a big part

America’s Immigration Problem Won’t

On Monday President Donald Trump floated the idea that illegal aliens who voluntarily self-deport could be given a chance to come back legally, as though the only issue is mass illegal immigration. But this position represents a dangerous misdiagnosis of the real problem. It’s not that illegal immigration is a problem simply because it’s, well, illegal. Mass migration — whether legal or illegal — is national suicide. The sheer volume of foreign arrivals reshapes the country in ways no election can reverse and no bureaucratic process can fix. A nation isn’t just laws — a nation is its people, its culture, and its identity.

The media have been going bananas wondering when President Trump will begin negotiations with China. President Trump has been very clear that there is no need to open negotiations with China, but all discussions are welcome. Essentially the point is that tariffs will remain in place until Beijing gets to a point where they acquiesce to the reality of President Trump’s terms for reciprocal trade. The goal is to bring manufacturing back to the USA, not generate terms where manufacturing remains in China. The Chinese trade delegation is scheduled to be in Switzerland at the same time as Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer

The Supreme Court lifted a lower-court judge’s ruling that paused the administration’s ban on mentally unstable people who were uncertain of their gender. Is Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., trying to sabotage his 2026 reelection bid? It’s a question worth asking when considering that the Tarheel State’s senior senator seems to be doing everything in his power to betray his constituents ahead of next year’s primary. While speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, Tillis, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, formally announced his opposition to the nomination of Ed Martin to serve as the next U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. With a 12-10 Republican majority on the committee, Tillis’ opposition likely nullifies the body’s ability to favorably move Martin’s nomination to the full Senate for final confirmation.
