Three GOP members of Congress are demanding answers as to why Judge James Boasberg, Chief Justice of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, keeps getting assigned to cases having to do with President Donald Trump.
Representatives Jim Jordan (R-OH), Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Chip Roy (R-TX) have sent a letter seeking answers to Angela D. Caesar, the Clerk of the Court for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
(snip)At issue is whether Boasberg is being assigned to Trump cases on a random basis or not.

How it works is the Chief Judge assigns the cases and Boasberg is the Chief Judge. How convenient!

Courts across America have different rules and procedures they follow, but one thing is very common, and that is that judges in particular jurisdiction are randomly assigned when a case is filed. Clearly that does not seem to be happening in many of our federal courts.

He's the chosen one to implement anti-Trump obstructions. He may not be the most radical judge in D.C., but he's the left's yeoman.

The GOP asks questions. From what we have seen, this is getting nothing done --- but it is typical GOP.

The GOP remains pretty much silent while counting the "contributions" $$$. Here Comes The Judge.

I've come to the conclusion that the lottery may assign a case to a judge that may refuse to hear it, or recuse from it and then the case, instead of being dropped, is simply passed on to the next judge in line, who also finds fault, and then on to the next. This sort of puts another spin on 'judge shopping, if true.

A real AG and a real FBI chief, would have already had this judge or his family in the crosshairs or on the ropes for wrongdoings, because he's not gotten where he is because he's pure as driven snow! Plus, he is not adverse to creating laws, so creat some against him. It's a liberal, dem business practice!

A pure form of random assignment may not be possible. It is conceivable that one judge could have one major case fall onto of another, thereby overloading that one judge. Just an example, maybe not the best, but it points to the issue. #8 makes a better case. However, the chief judge has made no effort to respond to the obvious question of propriety of the assignments. This situation reeks of politics and lawfare. The judge is blatantly sticking it to the country and it needs to be dealt with on that level. He is absolutely opening the floodgates to crippling the powers of the executive branch putting it under the complete control of the courts.
What is the position of AG Bondi? Does her silence mean she agrees with the situation?
I appreciate that the congressmen are at least willing to do what they can. I would like to see America First Legal take a position on this.

The GOP goes on all the shows asking questions, but they never really look for the answers, and if they get them anyway they refuse to do anything with them. Theres no profit in stopping corruption.

The answer is very simple, Boasberg is a corrupt leftist judge heading a corrupt district.

If anyone here thought that everything would be running smoothly in Trump's second term just because he won overwhelmingly, you have been in LaLa Land. He is never going to please the left and the media, repeating myself. It's a good thing he knows how to fight and continues to fight. I hope he can hold out for 3 more years, and please, no third term. That would just open it up for the evil left to put Obama back in office.

Back in history, Nixon hating Judge Sirica ( also Chief Judge) was conveniently assigned to all Watergate cases. Democrat privilege , even back then.
