If this were an actual woman in the role, it would never have gotten the slightest consideration for an award, but transgenderism is "cool", so the nomination was inevitable.

This person and movie was nominated only because it pushed the Trans agenda. There was never any doubt about the very misguided nominations.

Exposure to lead in gasoline during childhood resulted in many millions of excess cases of psychiatric disorders over the last 75 years, a new study estimates. Lead was banned from automobile fuel in 1996. The study, published Wednesday in the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, looked at its lasting impact in the U.S. by analyzing childhood blood lead levels from 1940 to 2015. According to the findings, the national population experienced an estimated 151 million excess mental health disorders attributable to exposure to lead from car exhaust during children’s early development.

Last month, while stuck in Delhi’s traffic during a magnificent tour of India’s Golden Triangle — composed of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur — I witnessed a troubling scene. Through the smog that occurs when the air quality index is 484 (“more than 30 times the maximum level deemed healthy”), I watched from our vehicle’s window as a half dozen trans-identifying adults surrounded and harassed a family in their car next to us, forbidding them to move forward as traffic crept along. Former President Clinton suggested Democrats need to find a better way to relate to people, as the party searches for answers amid Republicans securing control of the House, Senate and White House. “Politics is the only business in which you can prove your authenticity by not knowing anything. You know, and I think that’s a problem, and we’ll pay for it unless we get over it, but that’s a problem for the Democrats too. We have to learn to talk to people in ways that they can relate to that explains that,” Clinton said in an interview airing this weekend on MSNBC’s “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”

Mexican authorities blocked a US military plane from deporting illegal migrants on Thursday after President Trump's immigration crackdown began. US officials told NBC News that a jet filled with illegal immigrants bound for Mexico never took off after authorities south of the border rejected the move. The flight was one of three that were set to take off on Thursday, alongside two Guatemala-bound Air Force C-17s carrying over 150 people, as part of what Trump has described as the largest mass deportation effort in US history. Deporting migrants to foreign countries requires permission from the incoming nation's government, which Mexico declined on Thursday.

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had good qualities. He pushed through Trump’s judicial nominees during the first presidency, got his tax cuts passed, and is a noted legislative strategist and tactician. It doesn’t mean he always bats a thousand, but McConnell got key portions of the Trump agenda passed after the 2016 election. Now, he’s erased all that goodwill with this dastardly vote against Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense. McConnell’s defection, plus that of Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME), led to Vice President JD Vance performing his constitutional duty to break the tie.

After the 2024 election, the Biden administration knew what was coming in January: a massive crackdown on aid to Ukraine. Since Kamala Harris’ epic defeat last November, the Biden White House wasted little time, if any, sending hordes of cash to the eastern European nation, which became more of an outlet for liberals raging at Russia for supposedly interfering in the 2016 election than a national security priority. Like anything Biden touched, this issue became more unpopular as the months progressed. With Secretary of State Marco Rubio, all aid has been shut down.
