Mexican authorities blocked a US military plane from deporting illegal migrants on Thursday after President Trump's immigration crackdown began.
US officials told NBC News that a jet filled with illegal immigrants bound for Mexico never took off after authorities south of the border rejected the move.
The flight was one of three that were set to take off on Thursday, alongside two Guatemala-bound Air Force C-17s carrying over 150 people, as part of what Trump has described as the largest mass deportation effort in US history.
Deporting migrants to foreign countries requires permission from the incoming nation's government, which Mexico declined on Thursday.

You don't need an airport if you empty the plane of its "passengers" at 35,000 feet

Stop all entry of Mexicans if they don't allow them to be sent back. This should be fun to watch. I'm pretty sure Trump spent every day of the last 4 years coming up with strategies for handling every scenario.

Shut the freakin' country down. Close the border, immediately. Nothing going in or out of Mexico. Just like under Covid, shut down all planes from coming into, or going out of the United States to Mexico. Shut it down, now!

Mexico is about to find out what "FAFO" means. The US could probably destroy Mexico's economy if they persist. Not just trade, but they are also heavily dependent on the mail orders going back to family. I have nothing against the legals doing it, but not illegals. Maybe those transfers could help identify and track them down for deportation.

Trump has not commented on this issue yet. Will Mexico backdown before Trump does comment? Maybe the Cartels through the Mexican Government is testing Trump? Could be as there is a lot of traditional corruption there and the Cartels have a lot of cash!

Mexico showing its true colors. Now we know why Trump wants to rename the Gulf. It's a shot across Mexico's bow. Trump declared a state of emergency at the border and declared the cartels terrorist organizations. Mexico is hip deep in all of it. Trump is reminding Mexico they are supposed to be an ally, and they should get out of bed with China whose fingerprints are all over everything.

Well, if you didn't already realize it, this speaks volumes that Mexico did not send their "best and brightest" to the US. No, they sent criminals, gang bangers, sex traffickers, drug cartel members, and mentally ill people.
So, of course they don't want them back!!!
The Mexican president is about to learn what FAFO stands for!!!!!

That money can only be spent where it was earned.

Send the planes to Gitmo...I'm sure there's plenty of room there...and the illegals...mostly young men...can show the 9/11 terrorist a few tricks on survival....putting 20 years olds with 50 year old together...who BTW...were born catholic...should reap very interesting exchanges....since muslims hate anything to do with Christianity....looks like there's gonna be lots of gender changing at Gito....just when you think it can't get any better....IT DOES!!

Even without training, static line parachute jumps are "relatively safe" - a few sprains here , some broken bones there, but rare fatalities.
Thus is born the idea of pushing illegals out the back of a plane if their home country won't allow normal airport disembarking.
And shame on you people who want to save money on parachutes.

It’s almost a sure thing that Mexico will bail on not taking back their citizens who were found to be unlawfully in the USA as Trump holds the “trump cards” on that issue. If the USA were to shutdown the official ports of entry all the Mexicans who legally work in borderline industries on the USA side would not be able to legally cross into the USA daily, and no Mexican imports, including perishable food items would be stuck in Mexico to spoil. On top of that, if the USA were to stop so-called remittances (money) being sent back to Mexico to Mexican family members by the millions of Mexicans in the USA who are working both illegally and legally throughout the USA along with from the Mexicans who are involved in criminal activities in this country would cause serious financial disruptions in Mexico. Chances are the Mexicans will end up claiming that not allowing that USAF aircraft to land in Mexico was a bureaucratic problem that has been straightened out.

Strange how we can be simultaneously told about how hard-working and productive these illegals can be, what an absolute boon they are to our GDP and whatever, while at the same time observing their countries of origin absolutely NOT wanting them back.
Why wouldn't you want these hard-working, productive people back into your labor pool?

An Illegal isn't worth the cost of a one parachute.
- POTUS should order a Ranger Company and Delta Force to capture a suitable Mexican airfield and bring in the load of illegals. At the same time, send a few predators and suitable missiles, to take out drug cartel leaders. This will send the message, we're back, and we ain't messin around.
