There was no way of understanding how the song “Fighter” would apply personally, singer-songwriter and Breitbart News COO Jon Kahn said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday, walking through the personal loss he is navigating after losing his home in the California wildfires.
“You know, I wrote that for President Trump, as you said, but listening to the words now how it applies, I had no way of understanding how that would apply to my own life and so many others that got devastated by this fire,” he said, noting that he lived in his Pacific Palisades home for 25 years.

Since the days of George Washington, when presidents leave office, they often offer the nation some kind of farewell address. Washington's was written and published in the American Daily Advertiser. Andrew Jackson's was, according to the History Channel, the longest in history at 8,247 words. Harry Truman was the first one to broadcast his from the Oval Office. Dwight D. Eisenhower warned against the "military-industrial complex," (Snip) But there's one farewell address in history that often stands out among the rest, especially for people who were born and lived in the 20th century: that of President Ronald Reagan. California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) revealed that firefighters from Mexico were coming to assist with the ongoing Eaton Fire.

Newsom added that the firefighters coming from Mexico would be “joining more than 10,000 personnel already on the ground.”

In a move that has many critics up in arms, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas has granted amnesty to 850,000 illegal immigrants, further exacerbating concerns about the Biden administration’s border policies. With just days away from being outgoing President Joe Biden’s last week in office, critics argue that this decision, which effectively shields hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens from deportation, signals an alarming disregard for the rule of law and sets a dangerous precedent for future immigration enforcement. The $750,000-a-year LA water czar is responsible for a raft of failures that contributed to the devastating Palisades Fire, fire department insiders told DailyMail.com.
On Mayor Karen Bass's orders, the city maxed out its budget to 'attract private-sector talent', hiring Department of Water and Power (LADWP) CEO Janisse Quiñones on a $750,000 salary in May – almost double that of her predecessor.
Now, Quiñones is being blamed by LA Fire Department (LAFD) insiders for leaving a nearby reservoir disconnected and fire hydrants broken for months, DailyMail.com can reveal, leading to firefighters running out of water as they battled the devastating Palisades Fire this week.

One of the most wonderful things about Christianity is that there’s remarkable diversity in the way we can worship, provided we believe in the essentials of the faith. After the Protestant Reformation, denominations sprang up that allowed for variations in thoughts on secondary theological issues as well as styles of worship.
In more recent years, the “mainline” denominations, so called because they were the churches along the main roads in towns, have opted for theological and political liberalism (and downright heresy) and have seen a resulting decline. Denominations still loom large on the landscape of American Christianity, but their influence is on the downslope, according to some new research.

The notoriously political Judge Juan Merchan sentenced President-elect Donald Trump Friday morning for his ridiculous ‘hush money’ conviction in Manhattan. The Lawfare effort was entirely to position President Trump as the first convicted felon in the White House. That’s it. That’s the sum of motive and intent. To create a narrative.
That’s what lawfare is all about, creating public perceptions and using the judicial system to advance political goals. Few people care about the issues and the entire case is likely to be thrown out on a host of appeal reasonings.

As the story is told [SEE HERE], and it aligns with every scintilla of researched data on the darkest and deepest elements of the Deep State, DNI nominee Tulsi Gabbard has reversed her position and will now support FISA-702, the warrantless searches of American communication and electronic metadata.
Apparently the FISA process and the 702 aspect (specific to American citizens) is the line in the sand the Senate Select Intelligence Committee has drawn. If Tulsi Gabbard does not support it, her confirmation is in doubt. As a result, she has reportedly reversed her position and now supports it.
This is absolutely par for the course.

The moment any kind of natural disaster happens, Democrats immediately begin screaming about climate change. Of all the boogiemen the left has in their closet of scary monsters, "climate change" is arguably their most successful as it's allowed the left to use it as a way to frighten people into voting for them, and allowed them to manipulated billions and billions of dollars to their liking. With the California wildfires raging around LA, you can bet the Democrats immediately pointed to climate change as the culprit.
Is it? Did the fires start because of the prophesied coming of mother nature's retribution for humanity's hubris and abuse of the planet?

In business, Donald Trump was a real-estate guy.
In the presidency, he might be one, too.
The prospective foreign policy of his second term has taken an unexpected turn, with his recent talk of annexing Canada, buying Greenland and taking back the Panama Canal.
Rather than the neo-isolationist that he’s often accused of being, Trump is talking like a neo-imperialist, at least in our own hemisphere.
Even if President Trump does none of these things — he’s largely joking about the Great White North — his musings are a reminder of the crucial importance of geography and the control of territory.

I was surprised, if not shocked, when two A-list celebrities, country singers Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood, took the microphones at the State Funeral for Jimmy Carter yesterday and began performing “Imagine,” written by former Beatle John Lennon in 1971. The song is widely described as an “atheistic anthem” and incredibly is said to be one of the late 39th president’s favorite songs. "Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try.
No hell below us
Above us, only sky. . .
Imagine all the people
Livin’ for today
Ah
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too"
To me, it sounds like a globalist woke anthem

But Biden wasn't done yet with the crazy. He took some questions after making remarks about the economy. That's when he seemed to get confused. He said he stepped aside to unify the party.

The "extraordinary victory" took place on November 5th. Today was just the lame anti-climax.
Despite the fact that Judge Juan Merchan telegraphed his no-consequences sentence -- and that the Supreme Court made it clear that Merchan had to follow through -- the outcome of the Alvin Bragg prosecution stunned CNN's panel immediately afterward. Noting that an "unconditional discharge" rarely gets applied in felony convictions, the commentators grudgingly admitted Donald Trump won in the end:
JIM ACOSTA: Not just the sentence of an unconditional release, which means he’s not going to do any jail time. The fact that he is going to be going into the White House as a convicted felon, but

As Jeff wrote earlier today, President-elect Donald J. Trump got sentenced in the Manhattan hush money witch hunt led by District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan. It provided the closing chapter to this circus of a case and the Left’s overall failed lawfare crusade to stop Mr. Trump. It was a wanton attempt to jail a political opponent of the Democratic Party. In the end, liberals might have won this little battle, but Trump won the war. He will become the 47th president of the United States on January 20, and all the Left can do is scream into the void:

Two men are said to have been caught on camera dumping gasoline and setting it alight immediately before the devastating Palisades fire broke out, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.
A resident of the ritzy celeb-packed area reported the video to a senior firefighter once the flames had started consuming the area.
'By then we were too busy,' the firefighter told DailyMail.com. 'We told him to take the video to the police.' But what happened to the footage remains a mystery as cops have not confirmed that the uncontrollable blaze, which has caused damage in the billions of dollars, was set deliberately.

Los Angeles—The Pacific Palisades wildfires torched the home of “This Is Us” star Milo Ventimiglia, perhaps most poignantly destroying the father-to-be’s newly installed crib.
CBS cameras caught the actor walking through his charred house for the first time, standing in what was once his kitchen and looking at a neighborhood in ruin. “Your heart just breaks.”
He and his pregnant wife, Jarah Mariano, evacuated Tuesday with their dog and they watched on security cameras as the flames ripped through the house, destroying everything, including a new crib.
“There’s a kind of shock moment where you’re going, ‘Oh, this is real. This is happening.’ What good is it to continue watching?’

President Joe Biden ruled out the idea of pardoning himself, explaining he had not thought of pardoning himself because he “didn’t do anything wrong.”
During a press conference at the White House, Biden was asked if he had “ruled out” issuing a pardon for himself or “any other additional members” of his family. In December, Biden issued a “full and unconditional pardon” of his son, Hunter Biden, regarding “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”
“Have you ruled out a pardon for yourself or any other additional members of the family?”

The owner of a nearly $9 million Malibu mansion miraculously spared being leveled by the raging Los Angeles wildfires told The Post on Friday he was stunned to learn that when the smoke cleared, it was still standing.
“It’s a miracle — miracles never cease,” said retired waste-management exec and married dad of three David Steiner, 64, of Texas.
Steiner said he thought his stunning three-story California structure — which was vacant at the time — was a goner when a local contractor sent him video of flames and smoke engulfing his property and his neighbors’ Tuesday.

LAX video journalist “Airline Videos” captured the moment the Pacific Palisades fire erupted on Tuesday morning.

“Uh oh! Uh oh! Uh oh! Not something we wanna see here in Southern California. A fire has now broke out. That is looking like Encino. Uh oh. Not what we wanna see here in Southern California. A fire has now broke out there in the hills. I believe that’s looking toward possibly Bel Air, Encino,” Livestreamer Kevin said Tuesday morning.
