Greenland’s leader Múte Egede said he is prepared to enter into negotiations with President-elect Trump about the future of the mineral-rich arctic territory — but warned his people had no interest in becoming Americans. At a press conference Friday in Denmark, which exercises nominal sovereignty over Greenland, Egede said he accepted that Greenland was “a place that the Americans see as part of their world” and that while he has not spoken with Trump, he was open to “discussions about what unites us.” “We are ready to talk,” he said. “Cooperation is about dialogue. Cooperation means that you will work towards solutions.”

Outgoing FBI Director Christopher Wray said Sunday he’s leaving his post when President-elect Donald Trump assumes office to avoid throwing the bureau “deeper in the fray” as he defended the agency’s 2022 raid of the 45th president’s Florida estate.
The head of the FBI addressed his impending resignation, the controversial search for classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and how China is the “defining threat of our generation” in a wide-ranging interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes” Sunday night.
Wray, 58, said deciding to step down before completing his 10-year term was “one of the hardest decisions” he’s ever faced. He announced his departure from the post last month.
The number of deaths linked to the California wildfires has risen to 24, according to a Sunday evening update from the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner (DME).
Sixteen of those deaths are from the Eaton Fire, while eight are connected to the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, NBC News reported. The medical examiner noted that the deaths are “still under investigation by the department” and that it “cannot confirm human remains until after the DME processes them at our facility.”
Many of those who have died have not been identified and are listed as John or Jane Does on the medical examiner’s website.

Outrage is exploding over a push by numerous Democrats to get people to donate to wildfire "relief funds" facilitated through ActBlue, the party's scandal-ridden fundraising apparatus.
As RedState reported on Saturday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom made the ill-advised move to go on "Pod Save America," a far-left show run by former Barack Obama staffers, while large parts of Los Angeles County still burned. His attempt to pass the buck and paint himself as an innocent bystander amid a laundry list of government failures was bad enough, but then came the plea for donations.
It's no secret that Steve Bannon, once a top aide to Donald Trump, isn't a fan of the president-elect's newest buddy Elon Musk.

Like everyone I am horrified by the devastation in Los Angeles. The scale is beyond imagining, and the incompetence of city and state government so blatant, they will all need close security for the rest of their lives. Of course people are pointing to the Olympics in ‘28, and the inclusion of Los Angeles in the Smart Cities transition which basically means monitoring your very outbreath. Easier to do with fewer residents. Just build thirty-thousand high-rises, and house the cattle to be monitored and monetized.
