LA Mayor Karen Bass FIRES fire chief Kristin
Crowley after lashing out

Original Article

Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley was fired by Mayor Karen Bass on Friday afternoon, a source close to the chief’s office told DailyMail.com. ‘Kristin was summoned by Bass this afternoon, about 4pm. She came back from that meeting, hugged her staff goodbye and left. She said she was fired,’ the source said. The alleged booting follows Crowley lashing out against the Mayor’s cuts to her department, in an interview with a local Fox TV station around 12pm Friday. ‘My message is the fire department needs to be properly funded,’ the Chief said. ‘It’s not.’ ‘Did they fail you?’ Fox LA’s Gigi Graciette asked. ‘Yes,’ Crowley replied.

It sounds like Bass will be following her out the door pretty soon. A recall is likely and they are looking to hang someone for the incompetence in preparing for and dealing with this, largely expected, fire. Others may follow at election time. If California is lucky, maybe they will figure out that competence is more important than social pandering.

Won’t happen, as Biden and California Democrat Congressmen are claiming that the wimpy Republican controlled US Congress will appropriate enough money, standing today at 150 billion taxpayers dollars, to defray the costs for all the fire damage and make Democrat California whole. Then all the leftist and progressive Democrat California politicians will be re-elected. With everyone then being happy as clams until the next series of wildfires hits.

According to a report from Politico, a joint fundraising committee that worked with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) still has some donors enrolled in recurring payments. This is causing some strife among those who gave to the campaign.
