Biden to Keep US Flags at Half-Staff During
Trump’s Inauguration, White House Says

Original Article

The White House said on Friday that President Joe Biden is not considering raising the Stars and Stripes to full-staff for President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. President Jimmy Carter died on Dec. 29 at the age of 100 in his hometown of Plains, Georgia. According to the U.S. flag code, the death of a sitting or former president is observed by flying the American flag at half-staff for 30 days from the date of death on all public buildings and grounds, military posts, naval stations, and naval vessels.

Comments:

Just when you think FJB couldn't get any more spiteful. Oh well, actions speak louder than words and he's just further cementing his legacy as a vile, corrupt, spiteful little person. God Bless his little heart.

I'm not going to get upset over this. Despite the fact that Carter was a lousy president, he was president, and tradition mandates that the flag is stays at half-staff for 30 days. Biden, while even a worst president than Carter, is just following tradition. If Trump is upset, and I doubt he is, it's doesn't distract from the day.

This is in your face disrespect for Trump. It looks like Joe is not going to leave with class. Note to Joe: Remember your actions, turnaround is fair play. We all know based on your decline Trump will probably be in office when you cease to exist. Maybe our President Trump may have a one day Half-Staff for you.

Even if it is tradition to fly the flag at half staff, it still comes across as petty. Fortunately, what Trump will hopefully implement on Day 1 will be a big "I don't care; I'm in charge now" to the Biden administration.

While the flag code advises the flag at half mast for 30 days following the death of a president, it also provides for president-directed changes. That Biden does not choose to raise the flags on Jan 20 for the inauguration speaks to who little Biden is at his core, and that Trump chooses to let it be speaks to who big Trump is at his core. Let’s get on to the hard work ahead.

We no longer care what the bitter, senile, brain-dead fool from Delaware says or does. On the eve of former President Donald Trump's return to power, a new report is turning the story of the 2021 Capitol incursion on its head. For four years, a Democratic-run "select" committee on Jan. 6, anti-Trump Republicans, and the establishment media have blamed Trump for the violence in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, but the report released Tuesday accused Trump's acting defense secretary at the time, Christopher Miller, of defying Trump's specific orders. It's the very first finding of the report, and it paints a scathing picture of Nancy Pelosi's "select" committee -- and former Rep. Liz Cheney's role in the whole affair.
