Outrage is boiling over after revelations that the Santa Ynez Reservoir, a critical water source in Pacific Palisades, was empty and offline when a devastating wildfire ripped through the area.
The Los Angeles Times reported that despite the reservoir’s critical role in the city’s water infrastructure, it had been offline for nearly a year.
The Santa Ynez Reservoir, with a capacity of 117 million gallons, could have played a critical role in providing water pressure to firefighters battling the devastating fire that destroyed thousands of homes and buildings in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Malibu.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who will now be forever known as the weirdo who ran with Kamala Harris in 2024 and failed, is now endorsing gun control activist David Hogg in his bid to be vice chair of the Democratic National Committee.
The 2024 election showed that Democrats have a serious problem with men, who are fleeing their party in droves.
It’s not clear how having David Hogg in a leadership position would do anything to help fix this problem for them.
None of that seems to matter to Walz, who believes Hogg will provide the ‘courageous leadership our party needs right now.’

Jennifer Garner has lost a friend to the LA fires.
The actress, 52, revealed the devastating news Friday during an interview on MSNBC.
Appearing alongside World Central Kitchen Chef José Andrés, Garner told anchor Katy Tur about the death of her friend who she knew through church.
“I did lose a friend, and for our church, it’s really tender so I don’t feel like we should talk about it yet,” the star told Tur, choking up. “I did lose a friend. She didn’t get out in time.”
The official death toll from the Eaton and Palisades fires that tore through Los Angeles over the past few days rose to 11 on Friday.

The press for years tried to sell you on the narrative that Joe Biden is a decent, genial, value-driven guy, but so many of his actions have proven otherwise. Since Donald Trump officially became the president-elect in November, the lame-duck commander-in-chief has been waxing poetic about a smooth transition, but almost every official act he takes is designed to kneecap Trump’s stated agenda—you know, the one the American people overwhelming chose over the Biden-Harris failed vision. His latest move: extending temporary humanitarian protections for about 230,000 Salvadorans and 600,000 Venezuelans living in this country. As Jeff wrote earlier today, President-elect Donald J. Trump got sentenced in the Manhattan hush money witch hunt led by District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan. It provided the closing chapter to this circus of a case and the Left’s overall failed lawfare crusade to stop Mr. Trump. It was a wanton attempt to jail a political opponent of the Democratic Party. In the end, liberals might have won this little battle, but Trump won the war. He will become the 47th president of the United States on January 20, and all the Left can do is scream into the void:

Los Angeles—The Pacific Palisades wildfires torched the home of “This Is Us” star Milo Ventimiglia, perhaps most poignantly destroying the father-to-be’s newly installed crib.
CBS cameras caught the actor walking through his charred house for the first time, standing in what was once his kitchen and looking at a neighborhood in ruin. “Your heart just breaks.”
He and his pregnant wife, Jarah Mariano, evacuated Tuesday with their dog and they watched on security cameras as the flames ripped through the house, destroying everything, including a new crib.
“There’s a kind of shock moment where you’re going, ‘Oh, this is real. This is happening.’ What good is it to continue watching?’

President Joe Biden ruled out the idea of pardoning himself, explaining he had not thought of pardoning himself because he “didn’t do anything wrong.”
During a press conference at the White House, Biden was asked if he had “ruled out” issuing a pardon for himself or “any other additional members” of his family. In December, Biden issued a “full and unconditional pardon” of his son, Hunter Biden, regarding “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”
“Have you ruled out a pardon for yourself or any other additional members of the family?”

The owner of a nearly $9 million Malibu mansion miraculously spared being leveled by the raging Los Angeles wildfires told The Post on Friday he was stunned to learn that when the smoke cleared, it was still standing.
“It’s a miracle — miracles never cease,” said retired waste-management exec and married dad of three David Steiner, 64, of Texas.
Steiner said he thought his stunning three-story California structure — which was vacant at the time — was a goner when a local contractor sent him video of flames and smoke engulfing his property and his neighbors’ Tuesday.

LAX video journalist “Airline Videos” captured the moment the Pacific Palisades fire erupted on Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday morning around 10:30, LAX airport streamer Kevin noticed a plume of smoke shortly before a United Airlines flight landed.
“Uh oh! Uh oh! Uh oh! Not something we wanna see here in Southern California. A fire has now broke out. That is looking like Encino. Uh oh. Not what we wanna see here in Southern California. A fire has now broke out there in the hills. I believe that’s looking toward possibly Bel Air, Encino,” Livestreamer Kevin said Tuesday morning.

In a sweeping interview, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro discussed “Identity Crisis,” a new film from both organizations that unmasks the “graphic brutality” of so-called gender transitions.
“Identity Crisis,” which premiered today and is free to stream on X through the weekend, scrutinizes the radical gender ideology movement, with a sharp focus on the societal failures enabling the continued mutilation of children.

In this episode of "Yawn, So What's New?"...
In a predictable leftist move, "Ben & Jerry's" ice cream is hawking a "direct action" ... "against fascism" in opposition to President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20. Yeah. And yawn. As reported by the Post Millennial on Thursday, the notoriously radical left-wing company is working to organize participation in a "People's March" on January 18 in Washington, D.C., along with other locations across the fruited plain. The company's latest newsletter encouraged its customers to protest and "dissent" against Trump's soon-to-be presidency.
Post Millennial Senior Editor Andy Ngo posted a reminder on X (formerly Twitter) of just who these two radical characters —

Sens. John Cornyn (R-TX) and John Kennedy (R-LA) introduced a bill that would allow those who possess concealed carry licenses in their states to carry firearms in all 50 states. If passed, the bill could be a massive victory for Second Amendment rights, which have been under attack in blue states after the Supreme Court’s ruling in New York Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen.
Kennedy said the bill “would affirm Americans’ fundamental liberties while respecting every state’s right to make their own laws,” in a press release.
Cornyn noted that the proposed legislation “would reduce unnecessary burdens for law-abiding citizens and allow them to carry
