The New Jersey shore town Wildwood closed its popular boardwalk for a few hours early Sunday morning after hordes of “unruly, undisciplined” teens descended on the walkway, local officials said.

Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium has expanded, and the refinement of the material is nearing weapons-grade levels, according to a confidential report by the United Nations’s nuclear weapons watchdog.
The confidential International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report, viewed by the Associated Press, found Iran possesses 313.2 pounds of uranium enriched to 60 percent, a 45-pound increase from the last watchdog report. Uranium enriched at 60 percent in sufficient amounts is a prerequisite to producing uranium at the 90 percent needed for nuclear weapons, per the IAEA’s definitions.

This past weekend, I attended the Republican Party of Texas convention in San Antonio. Saturday morning, I rose at 0515 for a special run. I started off up Commerce to the Riverwalk and went down to run along the scenic San Antonio River as it runs through downtown. I made it to the locks and dam and then went up top to run to the Texas Thermopylae, The Alamo.There is something special about seeing The Alamo in the early morning light when there isn't much traffic out and about.

Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton, an all-time great champion in high school, college and the NBA, died Monday following a prolonged battle with cancer, the NBA announced.
He was 71 years old.

The Libertarian Party has chosen 38-year-old Chase Oliver as its 2024 presidential nominee.
An openly gay former Democrat who once supported Barack Obama, Oliver used his victory speech to rail against the U.S. “war machine” and demand an end to the “genocide in Gaza,” according to the Washington Examiner.
After author Michael Rectenwald was eliminated from the race during Sunday night’s voting, the final vote was between Oliver and “none of the above,” in which he ultimately prevailed with around 60 percent support. He announced economist Mike ter Maat as his running mate.
