Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that a “tragic mistake” was made in an Israeli strike in the southern Gaza city of Rafah that set fire to a camp housing displaced Palestinians and, according to local officials, killed at least 45 people.
The strike only added to the surging international criticism Israel has faced over its war with Hamas, with even its closest allies expressing outrage at civilian deaths. Israel insists it adheres to international law even as it faces scrutiny in the world’s top courts, one of which last week demanded that it halt the offensive in Rafah.

Sorry, but that's what Ham-Ass does...hide behind civilians, house weapons below hospitals, not to mention portals for tunnels..Bibi needs to do what he needs to do to keep his country and people safe from those barbarians...wipe them all out, no quarter given....some general once said I think I heard, shoot 49 of them with bullets smeared with pig fat and turn the 50th one loose to tell the others...
The hell with the UN and the rest of those idiots...they have apparently forgotten the holocaust...

Has Hamas ever admitted torturing and raping women and torturing innocent babies and baking them in ovens was a mistake? I don't think so. Whatever Netanyahu does is justified as far as I'm concerned.

Sad, civilians will always pay the price. When Hamas killed and raped innocents in Israel, the Palestinians came out on the street and celebrated. War sucks and the losers suffer more than the winners.

Just about everyone who died on 9/11 was an innocent civilian, and no one called it a mistake.

That's 45 fewer than Joebama will attempt to import to the US.

Note that the article says, "according to local officials, killed at least 45 people." Local officials are likely either Hamas or Hamas sympathizers that inflate civilian causalities for propaganda purposes.

These casualties are unavoidable and unintentional. There IS a way to avoid them completely in the future. HAMAS should lay down their arms and surrender. Ideally all their leaders trapped in Rafah should be fair game. But Israel in the overall interest might agree to safe passage for some.

Hamas has reported that Israel has already killed 30K innocent civilians already. If we believe them then another 45 people is an insignificant amount and might as well be ignored.

Sensitive aren't they? The Allies of WWII, most notably Brits and U.S. Army Air Corps, "fire-bombed" the German city of Dresden, resulting in the deaths of around 25,000 civilians. Of course the Nazis indiscriminately bombed London during the War too, so it was teet-for-tat, back then. Unfortunately, most of Europe's cities were heavily damaged or destroyed due to Hitler's ego satiation. So, what the nation of Israel is doing today doesn't even qualify as a "war crime," using WWII standards, it's more like a "policing action."

Well, gee. Maybe Hamas should have spent some more time considering the consequences of their actions before they attacked Israel.

Why is Bibi talking in the middle of a war? Why doesn't IDF finish Hamas and be done with it! Bibi, you are not going to make your enemies happy no matter what you say or do, so go and finish Rafah's Hamas' terrorists and clean the place up and leave.

Was it a tragic mistake to firebomb Tokyo prior to dropping two nukes on Japan to avoid a million US casualties invading Japan? Did the US target civilians in carpet bombing Desden, Hanover, and Hamburg, Germany to defeat the Nazis, or were the "civilian" populations an integral part of the Axis war machine, complicit in the "Final Solution" of exterminating Jews, thus legitimate targets during a total war? Who has the moral authority to shame Israel for fighting for its very existence? Is sacrificing Israel a fair trade for Biden getting another handful of votes from the islamic jihadis in MI, MN, and liberally salted throughout the US, including our universities and our lawmaking branch of government? Do our democrats value communism over Sharia or are they both simply preferable to our Constitutional Republic? Do any democrats, especially those controlling our Executive Branch, ever blame Hamas for being the terrorist organization that it clearly proves itself to be on a daily basis? Why do democrats love, or at least play "footsie," with Iran? Have US citizens, supposedly the ultimate watchdogs of our system of government, always been a jingoistic paper tiger, or is this a recent development?

Israel's offensive is catching civilians because they are Human Sheilds. Hamas has strapped them to their chests and hidden beneath their civic centers.
The only question the International Court should be asking is: "Where. Are the freaken. Hostages?"
Turn over the Hostages. Turn over the terrorists. No more collateral deaths.
Simple.
