Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who almost always sides with the liberal wing on decisions, admitted to sometimes crying after certain rulings in favor of the conservatives. Sotomayor admitted to crying when speaking at Harvard University’s Radcliffe Institute on Friday upon receiving an award. “There are days that I’ve come to my office after an announcement of a case and closed my door and cried,” Sotomayor said. “There have been those days. And there are likely to be more.” The justice said there are sometimes moments where she is “deeply, deeply sad.” “There are moments when, yes, even I feel desperation,” she said. “We all do.

While I cheer, vigorously, that the LAW has been upheld, instead of being showed aside by the liberals. Shoving law aside regularly eventually results in no law at all. Since you don't know what the law is until the liberal court rules, you have no roadmap for proper behavior. There is no consistency and no justice. Conservative enforcement of the law, AS WRITTEN, is essential for a fair and just society. Only elected representatives of the people should make law. Not appointed justices. I am delighted that Sotomayor is being marginalized.

Former President Donald Trump’s business records trial is in its final stages as closing arguments will commence on Tuesday, and deliberations will begin as soon as Wednesday. Judge Juan Merchan set closing arguments for Tuesday after the defense rested on May 21. The New York Times reported that Merchan expects the arguments to last about a day, though the Hill noted he did state they could spill into a second day. Trump’s defense will go first, followed by the prosecution. From there, jurors will deliberate whether or not the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is guilty of falsifying business records in connection to an alleged “hush money”

Remember that catchy NYC tourism campaign, “I loooove New Yoork!” I can almost picture President Biden croaking out the catchy tune, but with one word changed: “I loooove Iraaan!” Iran is the number one state sponsor of worldwide terrorism. They call America the ”Great Satan,” and their stated goal is to wipe Israel off the map. But don’t tell that to Joe Biden, who doesn’t want to upset the Mullahs in case it might hurt his increasingly remote reelection chances. The befuddled octogenarian president actually is demanding that European countries concerned about the Islamic Republic’s nuclear weapons program stand down and refrain from telling the truth—which is that Iran must never,

Uranium enriched at 60 percent in sufficient amounts is a prerequisite to producing uranium at the 90 percent needed for nuclear weapons, per the IAEA’s definitions.

The Libertarian Party on Sunday nominated party activist Chase Oliver for president, rejecting former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after they each spoke at the party’s convention. Third parties have rarely been competitive in U.S. presidential elections and the Libertarian candidate four years ago won 1% of the vote. But the party’s decision is getting more attention this year due to the rematch between Trump and Democratic President Joe Biden, which could hinge again on small vote margins in a handful of contested states. “We did it!
