New York Attorney General Letitia James reportedly has three ways to collect $454 million if former President Donald Trump does not post a bond to cover a civil fraud judgment by Monday. If Trump’s Monday appeal fails to reduce or hold off James from collecting the bond amount, she would have the power to go after the former president’s cash and real estate holdings. [Snip] 1. Placing liens against properties, 2. Collecting rents from properties. 3. Collecting funds from Trump’s New York state bank accounts. [Snip] James could then use the judgment to target Trump’s assets in other states through a process called “domesticating.”

Wednesday evening, while agonizing over the threat of the state of New York seizing properties of President Trump if he is unable to post bond for the $454 million, received a document calling attention to an organization identifying itself as the “Trump Save America Joint Fundraising Committee” which President Trump appears to be aware of and consented to the effort. Out of curiosity, ventured to donaldjtrump.com and found it informative, compelling, worth considering, and forwarded it to family and friends. Although contributions to this particular organization are not deductible for federal income tax purposes, considering the necessity for American patriotism to express itself on behalf of President Trump and this country, perhaps the need for such a federal tax deduction in light of the magnitude of what the confiscation of President Trump’s properties means to him, his family, and this country, forfeiting/relinquishing the need for a federal income tax deduction may be worthwhile at this point in time which is being contemplated by members of this family and several friends—making donations before Monday.

If I had , say about a billion bucks in cash laying around, I'd pay this outrageous fine myself, and not ask for repayment by Trump; I'd do it just to make the leftist's heads explode in fury and to 'monkey wrench' Engmoron's and Letitia's corrupt and evil plans.

I believe Trump will pay it on the last hour of the last day he has to. I also believe that the city and State of New York should be ashamed of the way Donald trump has been treated, and hopefully no other investor will ever build another thing in the city or state.

I expect the court to throw out the requirement to go bankrupt to defend himself from this blatantly political harpy. She's going to have her own legal problems before this is done, far worse than Fani in GA.

Despite the writers quote from an attorney about other states being required to abide by the order because of the Full faith and Credit Clause of the Constitution, I would hope that red states would tell James and Moron to go to hell. A political trial should not be recognized in another state, thus supporting the corruption in NY and the NY "judicial system". Red states should tell James no and let her have to fight in courts to get what she wants from other states. But of course, too many AGs in red states don't have the character or backbone to do this.

GA judge just gave Trump a legal “wink

President Trump just notched a legal win that may shed some light on the bizarre decision made by the judge in the Big Fani dismissal case. In a moment that felt suggestive in a “wink and a nod” kind of way, Judge McAfee not only granted Trump a substantial triumph but also opened the door for rectifying his own unjust ruling by approving Trump’s appeal request in Georgia. It appears as if McAfee wanted to wash his hands clean and defer to a higher court, almost as if he was encouraging Trump’s team to seek an appeal and give Big Fani the bum rush right out the door.

Democrats are meddling in Ohio’s Senate GOP primary at the 11th hour to boost Bernie Moreno, the candidate former President Donald Trump endorsed to face vulnerable Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown.[Snip]The group is funded by Senate Majority PAC, the top Democratic outside group focused on Senate races. The apparent goal of the ad is to boost Moreno with GOP voters, and their interference in the race is a sign that they believe he would be the weakest candidate in the general election. Ohio, one of three Democratic-held seats up for election in states Trump won in 2020, is one of the most critical races to the Senate majority.

The number of civilian casualties in Gaza has been at the center of international attention since the start of the war. The main source for the data has been the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry, [Snip] If Hamas’ numbers are faked or fraudulent in some way, there may be evidence in the numbers themselves that can demonstrate it. While there is not much data available, there is a little, and it is enough: [Snip] While the evidence is not dispositive, it is highly suggestive that a process unconnected or loosely connected to reality was used to report the numbers. Former President Donald Trump posted a $91.6 million bond Friday after losing writer E. Former President Trump demanded he receive a new trial after a jury ordered him to pay $83.3 million in advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit. [Snip] “Just before President Trump took the stand at trial, the Court engaged in a colloquy with defense counsel designed to restrict the scope of President Trump’s testimony,” [Snip] That exchange, they argue, narrowed the scope of Trump’s testimony to the point of prejudice by preventing him from addressing his mental state in relation to Carroll. On the witness stand, Trump only answered two questions--one of which was objected to, they wrote.

Gallagher, who is currently serving as the chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, last month announced that he will not seek reelection. Instead of serving out the rest of his term, Gallagher will retire early leaving the GOP with a one-vote majority! But it’s worse than that. Gallagher announced he will leave in mid-April. If Gallagher would have left before April 9th he would have triggered a special election in his district. Because he is leaving after April 9th but still in April, there will be no special election so the seat will remain empty.
