On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that while food prices have gone up significantly under President Joe Biden, 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Trump is doing better among younger voters because he lies and “when you don’t know anything, you can’t compare it to what’s said.” And “we were just kind of lucky for 20 years, and there wasn’t much inflation. So, maybe you’ve never lived in a time when there was inflation. So, you think, oh, Trump, no inflation, Biden, inflation, me vote Trump.”
Maher said, “I have another question about the youth here…we were talking about why Trump is doing better,

Hey billbo, here’s a line you can use on the balance sheet impaired: “if bacon’s up too much, let them eat caviar!”
Besides, not having enough to eat is good for the planet. “Wagyu for me, hunger for thee.”

Bill Maher is a broken clock - right, twice a day, and not because of the clock physically working.
We had inflation under Obama. We had inflation under Clinton and especially under Carter. Anyone with half a brain can tell that the further the President is removed from Democrats and Washington, the better the economy gets. It's especially good if the President is not a Rino or a Democrat and Congress is controlled by Republicans.
Yeah... I know. We've rarely had more than two years of that and never with MAGA - like participants... All the more reason to try.

Two years ago, I was making double and triple payments on credit cards and a mortgage. My insurance payments, deductibles and max out of pocket have gone up enough this year that it anone wiped out my pay raise. My grocery runs have about doubled in cost. Due to inflation, I've had to cut back. Sure, my 401K plan is doing good, but my gains are being wiped out with increased costs. I weathered the first two years relatively unscathed, but It's now beginning to cut.
I feel for those that were living pay check to pay check before Biden. I don't know how, or if they are making it.

I am a single retired person living on SS, a pension, and some savings. In Fall 2016, I was comfortable enough to start hosting exchange students and give them some nice trips to make the most of their year in America. Since, 2021, this has become increasingly difficult, and thanks to Bidenomics, I am having to call it quits after this exchange year.

Every time I reach for my wallet I'm shaking hands with Quid Pro Joe. It all began on Day One when the Delaware Dummy slithered into the White House and canceled the Keystone Pipeline. That set a number of things into motion. First, it sent a clear message to Russia and Iran that they could do anything they wanted because the US was getting out of fossil fuels. Second, it caused the price of gas and diesel fuel to take off which adds to the price of everything they deliver. In other words inflation. I cannot thing of anything that idiot has done that made my life better.

Maher is an ignoramus. We have had a lot of inflation the last 20 years. It isn't reflected in the numbers, because all the definitions were changed from 1980 and prior. In other words, the numbers were fixed.

It is so easy for a person who has millions $ at his disposal to complain that we are just too stupid to understand the economy.

Don't be fooled by Maher. He's a POS, but he's not totally crazy. He's no friend, and while he's not on the top of the SHTF list, he's a candidate.

Well we are just so happy, Bill, we have you to explain the horrific rise in the cost of food as inflation. We had no idea./s

Biden's attack on our energy sector has led to higher prices on "things transported". What things? Well, everythings! Also, higher prices on home heating and electricity. Easy to understand that.

Bill Maher, nothing but a mutt. This guy is the problem. This guy created the monster that is out of control today. Inflation, well how about the border, how about real jobs, how about Iran, how about the middle east burning, how about crime, how about Ukraine bleeding us dry, how about half a trillion taxpayer dollars used to support illegal parasites illegally crossing our border every freakin day. How about zero education in every democratic run city. How about turning out millions of illiterates in those cities. Get it yet Billy Boy. How does anybody watch this fool.

Like a broken clock, Maher very occasionally says something that makes sense but most of his output is garbage.
