A Democrat Tennesssee state senator has called for riots after Republican lawmakers passed a pro-police bill. State Sen. Charlane Oliver was responding to the passing of legislation that prevents cities from restricting police officers from making certain types of traffic stops. Speaking to the press on Friday, Oliver, co-founder of the social justice warrior activist group “the Equity Alliance,” vowed that “we’re gonna fight.” “So yeah, we’re gonna fight,” Oliver said. “Dr. King said the riots are the language of the unheard. You [sic] ain’t seen nothing yet. If you keep silencing us like this, what do you think our districts [sic] gonna do?”

I don't recall King saying any such thing about riots. Demonstrations, yes. But if he had promoted riots, he would never have gotten the sympathy for his cause.

Nashville, Tn has a serious problem. If you think of Hee Haw and the Opry when you think of Nashville, you're way behind the times. It's not a family friendly city anymore. They recently elected an even more liberal mayor. This state senator represents a portion of Nashville. The Marxist "Tennessee Three" are led by a former Vanderbilt divinity student who headed up Occupy Nashville and has a life goal of being the next MLK--he also represents Nashville. Avoid the city for your own safety. Tennessee has lots of lovely communities that are MAGA, but Nashville isn't one of them.

A new capital would signify a new beginning for the nation. Everyone who has seen the play Hamilton knows that the nation’s capital was moved to the present site in the District of Columbia due to a dinner-table bargain in 1790 between Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. Hamilton needed Jefferson’s support in Congress to win approval for federal assumption of revolutionary war debts; in return, Jefferson wanted Hamilton’s support in moving the capital from New York City to a location nearer to the population and geographical center of the country, later carved out between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

Expected as soon as Wednesday, the Biden EPA "is poised to finalize emissions rules that will effectively require a certain percentage — as much as two-thirds by 2032 — of new cars to be all-electric," according to Inside EVs.
