The IRS said it is poised to reap hundreds of billions of dollars of additional tax revenue by going after overdue and unpaid taxes, far beyond what was previously anticipated, thanks to funding from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
The new analysis, released Tuesday by the Treasury Department and the IRS, estimates that tax revenues are expected to rise by as much as $561 billion from 2024 to 2034, thanks to stepped-up enforcement made possible with money from the Democrats' IRA, which became law in August 2022.

Are they finally going to collect that $4 million (plus interest and fines) from the Reverend Al?

Remember...You can only take extra money from the so-called rich people one time. After that, they have no more money. And this amount of "taken"
revenue won't begin to put even a small dent in our national debt. The additional revenue will probably be redirected to another program and no savings will occur.

No, it will not! Yes, there is billions of unpaid taxes that the IRS has not tried to collect for decades, and they won't collect them now, as the tax scoffers have spent the money, and have little left to pay the IRS.

A great political ad would be showing a sold out football stadium and a voice over saying how many there are in attendance. Fifty thousand (or whatever,) and the Biden administration has hired 87,000 armed IRS agents. Now, there aren't that many billionaires or millionaires in our country so those armed thugs will be coming after thousandaires and hundredaires. But of course the stupid party won't do this. They're to busy making sure all the corrupt politicians in Ukraine are getting their salaries and pensions paid.
