America last!
The U.S. Senate has cast a contentious vote, advancing a massive $95 billion foreign aid package that supports Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, and Taiwan, but notably omits any provisions for bolstering U.S. border infrastructure.
In a 67-32 cloture vote, the Senate crossed party lines, with several RINO senators joining Democrats to move the foreign aid bill forward.
Republicans who joined Democrats in voting in favor include: Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
Roger Wicker (R-MS)
Todd Young (R-IN)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)
John Kennedy (R-LA)
John Thune (R-SD)
Dan Sullivan (R-AK)
Mitt Romney (R-UT)
Joni Ernst (R-IA)
Mike Rounds (R-SD) Thom Tillis (R-NC)
John Cornyn (R-TX)
Chuck Grassley (R-IA)
Jerry Moran (R-KS)

Just the Republicans making sure to give away any leverage they might have used to actually do their jobs.

Snakes all. The first bill was nothing but a McConnell-engineered diversion. Primary all who put America last.

I guess the senators missed the recent Congressional Budget Office report stating, "The baseline in the CBO’s annual budget and economic outlook covers the 2024 to 2034 period and projects that the budget deficit will rise from about $1.6 trillion in 2024 to $2.6 trillion in 2034, with deficits topping $2 trillion each year after 2031."
That is all on top of the current $34 trillion debt. What can't go on, won't.

So John Kennedy (R-LA) is now a RINO?
Knee-jerk reactions are rarely useful.

From the article:
"most of the Senate GOP conference voting against it. Republican Sens. Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), James Lankford (Okla.) and Mitt Romney (Utah) voted to advance the measure,”

Yes #2, his cornpone sense of humor ( as fun as it can be when aimed at Democrats) has never fooled me. He very often sticks by Mitch and that Grassley too. Grassley should not be reelected.

My senator, Capito, just wants to be in the good old boys club so bad she can taste it. She's been a major disappointment.

Washington broken beyond repair.
Don't oppose aid for Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, but how are you going to pay for it. Current federal debt is 34 trillion. Total US debt is 97 trillion. They cannot ignore this.
As for Gaza, let Israel take care of things. In particular getting rid of Hamas.

We've known for some time Sen. Kennedy from LA talks a good game but is a sellout. One name that is surprising is Sen. Grassley, who just turned 90. Maybe he should retire as his brain has stopped working. He's a yes on selling our country out to Ukraine. Ukraine. A money washing enterprise where our taxpayer monies go, no accountability, and then money returns to U.S. corrupted politicians completing the cycle. And that is where our hard earned money goes to pay our taxes that we will soon be paying April 15, 2024.

It figures. What we have here are a bunch of RINOs some of whom need to be put out to pasture like Glitch McConnell, Milquetoast Mittens Romney, Shaky Collins, the Alaskan Mur-KOW and Up Chuck Grassley. Who is 90 but looks 100. You can throw in wannabee's Caput Capito and Tiny Thom Tillis from the state I was born and raised in and the state where I live now. The last one surrendered his spine to Burr when he got elected who thankfully is now grazing in that RINO pasture. On the way out he gave Tiny Thom's spine to Addison Glitch McTurtle. Hopefully Ted Budd (R-NC) doesn't become a hornless RINO like these 17 Gutless Old Poseurs (GOP) but we'll see.
