House vote to impeach Homeland Security
Secretary Mayorkas fails, thwarted by
Republican defections

In a dramatic setback, House Republicans failed Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, forced to shelve a high-profile priority — for now — after a few GOP lawmakers refused to go along with the party’s plan. The stunning roll call fell just a few votes short of impeaching Mayorkas, stalling the Republicans’ drive to punish the Biden administration over its handling of the U.S-Mexico border. With Democrats united against the charges, the Republicans needed almost every vote from their slim majority to approve the articles of impeachment. The House is likely to revisit plans to impeach Mayorkas, but next steps are highly uncertain.

The swine walking towards the RINO Hall Of Fame......... "The House voted mostly along party lines, but Republicans suffered a number of defections which torpedoed the vote. Four Republicans ultimately voted no: Rep. Tom Clintock, R-Calif., Ken Buck, R-Colo., Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., and Blake Moore, R-Utah, who switched his vote at the last minute in a procedural move to be able to bring the resolution back to the floor."

Our two-party representative system of government is mostly for show. On certain issues, our government is all on the same page regardless of what the voter wants. They act like they are completely at odds with each other, but every now and then, they all act together. Don't believe it? Watch how they handle spending cuts. They never have any. Obviously, the border is another issue that brings them all together.

It’s comical that the wimpy Republicans could not whip their conference to determine if they had a winning hand before they scheduled a a full house vote. Clearly the wimpy Republicans were wasting their time by messing with Mayorkas, as the Democrat controlled Senate would not remove him from office, let’s say they did, in that case Biden replace Mayorkis with another leftist and socialist Democrat bureaucrat who would have held the same or more extreme political philosophy as Mayorkis regarding “open borders” schemes to flood the USA with Third World origin poor and uneducated illegal aliens numbering in the tens of millions, who the leftist and socialist Democrats obviously believe can easily be transformed into tens of millions of future leftist and socialist supporters and voters after they are granted a Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesty in the years ahead. What the wimpy Republicans should be spending their time on is winning the November election so they could get rid of both Biden and Mayorkis.

So, basically, by kicking out Santos and letting McCarthy resign, we lost two votes. Scalise was out sick and one GOP member switched his vote so he could move for reconsideration at a later date. Why was it so important to boot Santos (who had said he wasn't running for re-election, especially when a Democrat may win that seat in the special election) and for Kevin to take his ball and go home (or go back to the pollster's apartment where he camps out in DC) at the time he did? Wanna boot someone out? Then boot out Omar or Talib. You can find as many reasons they should go as anything there was on Santos? A two vote LOSS would have been a two or four vote WIN. Yeah, sure the Senate would not have convicted Mayorkas of incompetency and stupidity, but it isn't like the Senate is doing anything worthwhile anyway.

Hur’s report, which was made public on Thursday, found that after a months-long investigation, Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials," but he concluded that no criminal charges were warranted, because based on "direct interactions with and observations of" the president, Hur and his team said "[i]t would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him

Even before the Special Counsel report arrived, the president had been spending the week mistaking European political leaders for their deceased predecessors. Then the report detonated. It announced that the DOJ would not pursue charges against Joe Biden over his unlawful conduct, despite evidence that he "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency," including items that were marked highly classified.

The 2016 and 2020 elections pivoted on five states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In 2016, Trump won them all, and the presidency’s determining electoral vote was 306 to 232. In 2020, Biden won them all, and the electoral vote was 306 to 232. Joe Biden, senior aides and political observers strongly criticised the special counsel, Robert Hur, for extensively discussing the president’s age and allegedly fading memory in his report on Biden’s retention of classified information from his time as a senator and as vice-president – which did not produce an indictment. Hur, who Donald Trump appointed US attorney for Maryland, “could not refrain from investigative excess”, said Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal counsel. Though this was “perhaps unsurprising given the intense pressures of the current political environment”, Bauer added, the final report “flouts Department [of Justice] regulations and norms”.

Medical professionals have stepped up calls for President Biden to take a mental competency test after Thursday’s blistering report from special counsel Robert Hur revealed the 81-year-old can’t remember basic facts about his own life and career. The Hur report, released Thursday, assessed Biden as too senile to be prosecuted over his wrongful retention of classified documents and noted the commander-in-chief “did not remember when he was vice president” and “did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died” over two days of interviews in October. “Something isn’t right, and even if it’s minor, it must be explained to the public,” Dr. Stuart Fischer, a primary care physician

You know, I think they are. I've even made a handshake bet that they will. But I'll confess to questioning my end of that wager more than ever, after the events of Thursday afternoon and evening.

A New Hampshire Democrat cradled her week-old daughter while defending a proposed state constitutional amendment to enshrine abortion rights up to 24 weeks and allow the procedure beyond that when deemed medically necessary. "I stand here today as one of the millions of people who has had an abortion. When I was a teenager, I accessed abortion care that has allowed me to go to college, to graduate school, to receive an M.Ed., to teach, and to be a state representative," the amendment's sponsor, Rep. Amanda Toll, D-Keene, said during a floor debate last week.

Attorney Ty Clevenger is the bulldog attorney who has been after the DOJ and FBI for years to get to the bottom of the Seth Rich murder. Clevenger also investigated who supplied the DNC and Podesta emails to the DNC during the 2016 election cycle This was always the key to the Trump-Russia collusion nightmare. No proof was ever offered up by the fake news legacy media, Democrats, or the intelligence community on this scandal. If Russia did not supply the DNC emails to WikiLeaks then this was more proof that the DOJ’s Russia collusion story was a complete lie used to fool After years of denying they had anything related
