Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney is calling for the Cabinet to "explore" the use of the Constitution’s 25th Amendment to remove President Biden from office, following Special Counsel Robert Hur’s "alarming" report. Hur did not recommend criminal charges against the president for mishandling classified documents. Those records included classified documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan, among other records related to national security and foreign policy which Hur said implicated "sensitive intelligence sources and methods."

For constitutional reason he should not have been allowed to run in the first place. He was unfit well before 2020. For political and popcorn reasons I'd love to see him in a 90 minute public debate (any reasonable format with no ear piece) or the stupid embarrassing excuses they make for why he won't, Lots n lots n lots of hot buttered popcorn all day long!

Alarming? Come on. Anyone paying attention knows Joe Biden is physically, mentally and emotionally unfit for the office he holds. This report should come as no surprise because every American has witnessed Joe’s mental and physical decline and it has been swift. You gotta give it to democrats. They stole an election to put this incompetent fool in the White House. Their little cabal has been busy destroying this country using a senile old fool as the figurehead. That takes some kind of nerve! Think about what this bunch of anti-American zealots have done to this country while the Republican leadership is asleep or complicit. Is there not a patriot among them? Clearly, the leadership is lacking. The Speaker is weak and the Senate Majority Leader is corrupt. We have been sold out by fools and criminals playing games that they always win. The American people are hated and reviled by the political class and the showdown coming in November is going to be epic. We either win or we will lose everything. Right now the Republic is a shell of itself and has lost the ethos of our founding documents. Democrats intend to retain power by any means possible and we the people will be marginalized if they are successful. There are dark days are ahead for sure and far too many on our side are not committed to victory. Underestimate democrats determination and lawlessness and we lose it all.

The republicans, for the most part, are no fans of Trump even if they pretend they are. Trump upsets their apple cart and they would be happy if he would just go away. That said, this talk about removing Biden tells me the GOP would rather have any democrat with a better chance of beating Trump as the democrat nominee in November. They keep floating Moochelle Obama as a possible choice and with her comes the invisible armor provided by the race card. My guess is if they do dump Biden Moochelle is the one they'll choose to replace him. This will make the republican party at large very happy.

Senator Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said that Attorney General Merrick Garland is at a crossroads after Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Hur declined to charge President Joe Biden for mishandling classified documents because of his mental state. Hur’s report, which was made public on Thursday, found that after a months-long investigation, Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials," but he concluded that no criminal charges were warranted, because based on "direct interactions with and observations of" the president, Hur and his team said "[i]t would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him

Vice President Kamala Harris sharply attacked Special Counsel Robert Hur's report on President Biden's handling of classified documents, Friday, as "politically motivated" and "gratuitous, inaccurate and inappropriate." A reporter asked Harris in Washington if she thought Hur's report that recounted several memory lapses by the president was fair. Harris blasted Hur as being "wrong on the facts" and thought he should have shown greater integrity.

You know, I think they are. I've even made a handshake bet that they will. But I'll confess to questioning my end of that wager more than ever, after the events of Thursday afternoon and evening. Even before the Special Counsel report arrived, the president had been spending the week mistaking European political leaders for their deceased predecessors. Then the report detonated. It announced that the DOJ would not pursue charges against Joe Biden over his unlawful conduct, despite evidence that he "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency," including items that were marked highly classified.

Democrats are growing increasingly worried about the state of President Biden's mental acuity after the release of the special counsel report stemming from his handling of classified documents. Special Counsel Robert Hur released the report on Thursday, and although the president won't face criminal charges, the report alleged the president forgot key details of his life, including information surrounding his time as vice president and his son's death, during pertinent interviews while the probe was being conducted. Biden called an unusual press conference after the release where he sparred with reporters

President Joe Biden took to the microphone for an unannounced address on Thursday night, following the release of the politically devastating Special Counsel report that said he "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen." While the report stated that such actions "present serious risks to national security,” Biden will not face charges because he presents himself as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and it would be difficult to convince a jury he is guilty of a serious felony because to commit such a crime “requires a mental state of willfulness.” The report elaborated by pointing out he couldn’t

Gaetz, who spearheaded McCarthy's ouster from the House speaker position last October, backed McCarthy as a potential replacement for RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel amid reports she will step down. "I fully endorse Kevin McCarthy for RNC Chair. Kevin is well organized and a very high-revenue fundraiser. He will also be well-liked by the RNC Committee. The RNC Chair doesn’t make any policy decisions, set any agenda, or negotiate against Democrats, ever. Kevin would be terrific," Gaetz wrote on Tuesday.

When Senate negotiators unveiled their 370 page supplemental funding bill Sunday night, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer planned to schedule a vote on the legislation Wednesday. How things have changed in less than 72 hours. The bipartisan-negotiated supplemental is dead. It’s dead not because of Senator James Lankford, the head Republican negotiator, but because of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. With the Senate now set to consider a stand-alone supplemental for Ukraine, a country whose border security McConnell values more than his own, one can’t help but wonder if this is what McConnell wanted all along.

Is 2024’s presidential battleground bigger than we think? So focused on the past, we have been overlooking the present’s obvious. Former President Donald Trump’s polling numbers indicate his support is not just deeper but regionally broader than expected. If this is true, it has major November implications. The 2016 and 2020 elections pivoted on five states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In 2016, Trump won them all, and the presidency’s determining electoral vote was 306 to 232. In 2020, Biden won them all, and the electoral vote was 306 to 232. Throw in 2020’s additional close states of Nevada (which Biden won) and North Carolina (which Trump

In a dramatic setback, House Republicans failed Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, forced to shelve a high-profile priority — for now — after a few GOP lawmakers refused to go along with the party’s plan. The stunning roll call fell just a few votes short of impeaching Mayorkas, stalling the Republicans’ drive to punish the Biden administration over its handling of the U.S-Mexico border. With Democrats united against the charges, the Republicans needed almost every vote from their slim majority to approve the articles of impeachment. The House is likely to revisit plans to impeach Mayorkas, but next steps are highly uncertain.

Border agents told him there are at least 13 to 14 million people who've entered this country since President Biden came into office, more than double what his administration has claimed.

Is President Joe Biden scared of starting a broader war if he attacks Iran? Or is he worried about gasoline prices going up, torching his reelection bid? The pusillanimous response of Biden to attacks on U.S. troops has enraged critics. Many want the president, who pledged to hold accountable "all those responsible" for the deaths of three U.S. soldiers, to strike Iran. To go after the head of the snake and squash Tehran’s ability to fund and train the terrorists who continue to attack U. S. personnel. He won’t do it. Why? Because he’s scared to death that

Joe Biden, senior aides and political observers strongly criticised the special counsel, Robert Hur, for extensively discussing the president’s age and allegedly fading memory in his report on Biden’s retention of classified information from his time as a senator and as vice-president – which did not produce an indictment. Hur, who Donald Trump appointed US attorney for Maryland, “could not refrain from investigative excess”, said Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal counsel. Though this was “perhaps unsurprising given the intense pressures of the current political environment”, Bauer added, the final report “flouts Department [of Justice] regulations and norms”.
