If you are only driving 20 miles or so around Toronto or Montreal it may work. But good luck with that in Canada's sparsely populated provinces and the Yukon with brutally cold winters. It will be a disaster.

So, in the winter, the entire nation will shut down. You think Michigan and New York are cold? Canada is a LOT colder, with corresponding decreases in battery power and EV range. You'll be lucky to get 75 miles on a full charge. I'm never settling foot in Canada again. That entire country has gone batshite crazy.

Toronto is warmer than most of the US Northeast because of how the cold comes off the lakes and the path the arctic winds flow. The total represents an increase of about 70,650 homeless people compared to January 2022. It was an embarrassing performance filled with weasel words and amorphous defenses such as “it all depends on context” as if genocide might be legitimate in some circumstances. Gay’s second lucky break was to survive clear-cut evidence that she was a career plagiarist, and this scholarly dishonesty far exceeded inadvertent sloppiness.
