What the Hell Is Going on with Zuckerberg's
Hawaii Supervillain Lair?

If you want to know what's going on with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's massive Koolau Ranch compound on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, there's no use asking anyone involved in its construction — they're all bound by strict nondisclosure agreements. According to an anonymous former contract employee who was willing to risk life and limb — not really (?!?) — to talk to Wired, "It’s fight club. We don’t talk about fight club." More ominously, he added, “Anything posted from here, they get wind of it right away.” And you thought Zuckerberg just had algos scanning your Instagram feed for wrongthink. Sources differ on the size and expense of Zuckerberg's compound.

Sounds like he is emulating the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt by building an elaborate burial chamber...hope he understands that they (a) still died and (b) their eternal lair was ransacked by grave diggers.

Well, Suckerberg's "blast resistant bunker door" might resist the attempts of unsophisticated 'zombies' to get in, and even dissuade hungry neighbors from getting in to his food storage when TEOTWAWKI comes.... But he will never be able to come out when / if things calm down. Unless he has room and supplies in there for a a platoon of Rangers, A company of Marines, or a battalion of Terminator Robots to protect him when he does decide to venture out. He better have downloaded and stored all his favorite movies & TV shows and stored them away... It is going to be real boring in there.

Zuck may have non-disclosure agreements with the contractors who constructed his bunker-playground, but in the words of Malone (The Untouchables), "What are you prepared to do?" After his conviction by Colombian law enforcement, Pablo Escobar, willing to do anything and kill anyone to avoid extradition to the USA, constructed a (mink lined) prison for himself and his Medellín cartel associates. His contractors, who built tunnel exits, were killed immediately as soon as their work was done. Is Zuck as evil as the cocaine kingpin? Could be. Maybe so.

And yet what our ancestors were actually buildng is round tall towers that stick up and have thin slitty windows. It looks to me as though they were worried about sandstorms - from Baku to Ireland. in which case underground bunkers will not help any.

The Zuck is not alone in his pursuit of a rabbit lair to escape the mess that he helped to create. Obama, Gates, Bezos and many others are of the same mindset because, you know, they are superior to the foxes who will begin digging them out for the food and supplies that they will have delivered to their burrows. Epstein had his version on Lolita Island and Richard Branson had his protected wine cellar in which he and his friends waited out a Caribbean hurricane. The government has their top secret shelters, most likely in the nearby mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, etc. and I'm sure all members of congress and their families have been promised a seat on the ride although the doors will be slammed shut in their faces once the Biden family is inside. For Zuckerberg, Karma would be a huge volcano or tidal wave ruining his day right after the world collapses. You can run but you can't hide.

Biden's Open Borders 2 replies

The New York Post cover story today is by Alex Oliveira: “Record 12,600 migrants encountered at border in 24 hours — as backlog for immigration hearings breaks 3 million.” The story reports on our self-created border crisis. When I say “self-created,” I mean created by President Joe Biden. Why would a president of the United States do what he has done? Even certain well-known Democratic officeholders are unhappy with the results, though they may point the finger of blame elsewhere. Biden’s undoing of our border is an act of willful destruction. In addition to everything else, it seriously jeopardizes our national security. Everyone knows who is to blame. Ilhan Omar

In recent months it has become abundantly clear that electric vehicles are no more than rich men’s toys. Sometimes I think I must be having a dream, but I do not seem to be able to awaken from this nightmare. These vehicles are so expensive that only the very rich can afford them. In fact, these are often secondary vehicles. As a vehicle to drive from home to office and back home again, they are reasonably practical. However, nothing beats a vehicle with an internal combustion engine. You do not have to plug it in; just get in and drive it. Five minutes is enough time

As we approach the last year of Joe Biden’s term, it’s an opportune moment to reflect back on January of 2021. Our new President had been inaugurated (though we still don’t know that he was elected). Democrats believed the evil Trump had been vanquished from the body politic forever. We were assured that blue-collar Joe from Scranton was going to return normalcy to Washington -- as if that were a good thing. Biden was riding high in the polls. His “wingmen” were in control of the executive branch. His allies were in power in Congress and his media lapdogs would guarantee that all news was good news.

As RedState reported earlier, there is Democrat panic on Capitol Hill as Joe Biden's polling numbers continue to sink so badly that some Democrats fear they don't stand a chance in 2024 with him on the ticket. At the top of the list of voter concerns are the economy, jobs, inflation, and the cost of living, and three years into the Biden-Harris administration has left them feeling worse off, not better off than they were at the start of it. Admiral Horatio Nelson is one of the greatest heroes of British history. With the possible exception of Wellington, no one contributed more to winning the Napoleonic Wars. Nelson’s death at Trafalgar, his greatest victory, holds a place in British history analogous to that of Lincoln at the end of the Civil War. But in recent years, Nelson has come under attack, and activists have urged that statues of him be destroyed–including the iconic one at the top of Nelson’s Column at Trafalgar Square. Why? The usual reason: he is alleged to have been pro-slavery. In my opinion, this would be irrelevant even if true. Slavery was ubiquitous on every continent except Antarctica

Fortunately for us, the world is binary. Truth value is binary. Of the four kinds of sentences in the English language—declarative, exclamatory, imperative, and interrogatory—only one, the declarative, has a truth value, and that truth value is always either true or false. Existence itself is binary. Every entity that can be conceived either exists or not. Computer science, too, is binary. Computer science depends upon the fact that electrical circuits are either closed or open. And, of course, human sexuality is binary. Each human being is either male or female. Moreover, every cell in the human body is either male or female.

A recent New York Times article goes into detail about the financial machinations of Hamas over the last decade, and posits that the Israeli government and Benjamin Netanyahu not only knew about the hundreds of millions of dollars that were being funneled into Hamas, but allowed it to happen in the hope that financial success in Gaza would keep peace. Written by Jo Becker, the article uses many sources, including ex-Mossad personnel. Becker is an investigative reporter for the Times, having won Pulitzer Prizes for exposing Dick Cheney’s hidden power in 2008, for a series of articles in 2017 about Vladimir Putin’s efforts to undermine the 2016 election,

The Colorado primary ballots printed, and the primary election will be over, before the Supreme Court puts this on their docket. In addition to the virtual guarantee the high court will overrule this political nonsense, SCOTUS can make the entire issue moot before them by following their own normal schedule for submissions, arguments, deliberation and opinions delivered by the court.

The all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court last night barred Donald Trump from the state's 2024 Republican ballot over his role in the January 6 riot - with legal experts warning they have imperiled American democracy. The 4-3 decision marks the first time in history that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment - which disqualifies insurrectionists from office - has been used to eliminate a presidential candidate. Justices Richard L. Gabriel, Melissa Hart, Monica Márquez and William W. Hood III said that they had 'little difficulty' in determining that the events of January 6 were an insurrection and that Trump did 'engage' in that alleged rebellion.

At present, polls show that his approval ratings are the lowest ever for an incumbent president but the very fact that 30% of those polled still believe he’s doing a good job means that idiocracy is now the normal state in America. Dr. Claudine, current President of Harvard University, is one lucky woman or, as she might describe herself a “a lucky woman of color.” She first survived her dreadful testimony before the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, where she refused to unambiguously denounce calls from Harvard students and faculty to kill all Israeli Jews. It was an embarrassing performance filled with weasel words and amorphous defenses such as “it all depends on context” as if genocide might be legitimate in some circumstances. Gay’s second lucky break was to survive clear-cut evidence that she was a career plagiarist, and this scholarly dishonesty far exceeded inadvertent sloppiness.
