A lead United Nations agency overseeing food and agriculture policy is expected to issue a road map in the coming weeks which will call on the West, including America, to dramatically reduce its meat consumption. The UN's Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) will publish its so-called global food systems’ road map during the upcoming COP28 climate summit in Dubai which will kick off on Thursday and extend nearly two weeks until mid-December. FAO's first-of-its-kind document will recommend nations that "over-consume meat" to limit their consumption as part of a broader effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Bloomberg reported. Meanwhile in Dubai our betters are dining on Waygu beef, lobster, Chilean sea bass, etc. while they castigate the rest of the world for their dining habits. They have to be the most hypocritical, arrogant SOBs on earth.
Let them eat bugs…and BTW, no more private jets.

Just another excuse to raise the prices of meat products to be a deterrent. Just like cigarettes. They want to 'protect' humanity. Just like the crowd that wants to 'save the planet'. There is clearly some overlap between the two groups. They can all go rot.

Paleo is the way to go. Animals can graze on natural grasses. People need highly cultivated farmed crops which are far more destructive to the land. Unit of protein per unit of destroyed topsoil is greater for farmed crops than for grazing animals. The UN under the guise of saving the planet is really trying to implement “equity”, the new mantra of the global woke community. In other words, you eat better than them and since they can’t eat better, you have to lower diet to where they are. “Equity” is the driver to the lowest common denominator, whether it’s food, education, employment, etc. Fire up the grill and enjoy a juicy burger while you can. No doubt Biden administration nut cases will push the implementation of UN resolutions.

Gotta love the idjits that think diet is a one size fits all and keep messing with what is a balanced diet. As a person that needs high protein and low carbs, you can't get that without meat. I can't handle soy and again soy is something that no child should be given large amounts of. A vegetarian diet that is not constantly monitored carefully can be extremely harmful to children and make for adults that are unhealthy (BTDT when I was too poor to buy meat for my family). Yes there are times I don't eat a lot of meat - like during the summer when the garden is producing (I love fresh fruits and veges), but I supplement with eggs then for the protein.

If our disloyal politicians and their globalist masters want to eat bugs, more power to them.
But telling Americans to eat bugs "for their own good" (which is what I'm reading into the "climate change" claims) is unlikely to overcome the quite natural human revulsion to the disgusting protein source the UN wants imposed on Americans. Any political body powerful enough to reduce human beings to eating bugs is not a force that deserves American support.

Here's how they enforce it. There will be several unexplained fires at meat processing plants, the union that represents the meat workers will demand $50 an hour 10 weeks paid vacation and a 4 day work week. Some variation of mad cow disease will be announced and like magic beef will be $40 per pound assuming you can find it. We've seen this play before. Just keep on voting for the communist/globalist and meat will be but one industry that they will follow this game plan on.
