You don’t have to approve of George Santos to understand it should have been left to his constituents in Long Island and Queens to decide on his suitability to remain in Congress.
Nonetheless, despite a slim majority in the House and crucial votes looming as they head into an election year, 105 Republicans were suckered by moral vanity into expelling one of their own Friday.
The 35-year-old gay son of Brazilian immigrants, Santos had the most conservative voting record of the entire New York delegation, and now he is gone, taking his vote with him.

The Republican Party continues to be the party of Stupid!
The Democrats circle the wagons; the Republicans circle the firing squads!

No they weren’t. They willingly and with full knowledge formed the usual circular firing squad with predictable results.
Say what you want, the Dems never deviate from whatever their masters tell them to do.

I realize that the GOP wants to public to know that they have a higher standard of behavior than the reprobates across the aisle, but anyone who thinks that Gov. Hochul won't find a way to turn this seat blue is delusional.

If you still call yourself a Republican, you are part of the problem. I have not been a Republican since boy George went to war for his daddy's mistake. I am a Conservative and proud of it.

There must be a lot more Pubbie congressmen who need expelling. Let's form a special committee to smoke them out - - and get rid of them.
Nothing should be more important than that!

Meanwhile, the RINOs in the Senate are unable to eject from that 'hollowed' chamber a TRUE CRIMINAL in their midst from New Jersey, Bob Menendez. Even the FBI has ratted him out for being too filthy to cover for anymore, yet the Senate RINOS remain silent.
Santos was a liar, and an exceptionally bad one, unlike most of those elected to DC. Dems were especially upset he was able to so easily flip an otherwise solid "D" precinct to "R." That's gotta hurt, but not anymore. Thanks RINOs.

I must admit to being torn on this. I'd like to stand for something but when the referee allows your opponent to bring brass knuckles into the ring standing by the Marquis of Queensbury rules doesn't quite seem prudent.

Republicans are lazy…they don’t want to be in charge. Letting Democrats have their way. Most of them are part of the swamp.

Considering the past transgressions of dozens of Congressman and Senators over the years, I still don't get what was so bad that Santos did to warrant an expulsion. We've got people making millions off of stock trades based on their votes for appropriations, yet Santos uses a measly few thousands of dollars, and there is a need to get rid of him?

Santos had no honor and needed to go, I don't care if the republican number is one less, it won't matter. Fetterman also needs to go as well as Adam Schiff and the islamic squad members from the House.

Calling them suckers is giving them the benefit of the doubt. They weren't suckered. They knew the consequences and did it anyway. Now NY will have another liberal rep appointed by the whacko governor and that's thanks to these dopes.

We remember the Harlem Globetrotters that made fools out of a team that “tried” to win a game, but really ended up watching the comedy. The Republicans are that bunch of fools that let the comedic team run all over them. They get paid to blunder and fail.

Santos' great sin was voting as a true conservative. The Republicans expelling him was their Uniparty duty. He was making it harder to pass the true agenda.
