According to the article, Meghan was “allegedly uneasy” with Prince William and Princess Catherine “being the superior royals in the palace hierarchy when she joined the Royal Family.” In Harry’s book “Spare” he bemoaned the introduction of Meghan to his brother as not being “the welcome they had hoped for” because Catherine remained in the garden. Rather than considering Catherine’s absence a slight, it may have been an expression of courtesy allowing the brothers to have private time with Meghan during that initial introduction.
