When word got out that federal officials had chosen Greenbelt, Maryland, to be the new home of the FBI’s headquarters, criticism came fast and furious from both leaders in Virginia and leaders in the FBI. While government officials in Maryland are celebrating the decision to locate FBI’s new headquarters in Prince George’s County, the General Services Administration is also defending its decision with newly-released documents showing agency leaders had been going back and forth about those same criticisms with FBI leaders for several weeks. I'll be surprised if it's built in MD. FBI agents won't want to live in that area or use public transportation that passes through Northeast DC.

The majority of FBI headquarters staff members live in predominantly White Fairfax County,VA. They live in $800k homes and send their kids to predominantly White schools. There is no way they will sell their houses and move to the high crime, poor schools and unsafe neighborhoods of predominantly Black Prince George’s County, MD. Biden and his cronies are screwing over the woke liberals at the FBI who helped get him elected. True Karma.

If this were up to me I would certainly build a new FBI HQ. However, I would build it in Fairbanks, Alaska and I would cut the travel budget to zero. At the same time I would prohibit FBI agents fro carrying weapons entirely. Their job is to "investigate not to strong arm. If FBI agents need fire support then they should call the local uniformed police.

The FBI deserves nothing. Let them stay in the building they are in now. However, my desire would be that the entire management end of the agency is fired no pension or benefits. If they fight, indict them and put them in prison. The field agents who have had any part in these illegal swat like arrests must go, no pension. We must purge that agency and it must hurt the individuals who have betrayed our trust. Better still just shut it down completely. Do not try and reform it. Put the scientific investigative departments in a building in the middle of the country so states can easily have access to their services. Field agents who have been fully vetted can be scattered throughout the country in offices already functioning. Clearly, we do not need a big office on the east coast close to Washington DC. That is just too much temptation for the agency to, once again, begin to consolidate power. Power is corrupting and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

They haven't been going over this for weeks, they have been at it for years. The smart thing to do would be to tear down the better part of Anacostia which is home to the criminal element in DC and build it there. But if they do move it to Prince Georges county in Maryland they will definitely access to the Affirmative Action employees they wish to hire.

It is miserable corruption that an FBI HQ's has even been approved. The FBI should be downsized and limited to law enforcement.

Build it in rural Nebraska or South Dakota. It.would be centrally located, land is cheap and construction costs are low. Best of all, most of the upper level swamp would quit rather than move. Do the same thing with most federal agencies. In an interweb world there is no reason for all of the federal bureaucrats to be located in and around DC.

Virginia officials and the head of the FBI called on Thursday for the reversal of a decision to relocate the headquarters of America’s top law enforcement agency to suburban Maryland. They allege that the federal agency tasked with overseeing the relocation, the General Services Administration, which oversees federal real estate, failed to address what they said were conflicts of interest in the selection process. In an internal message to FBI employees on Thursday that was obtained by POLITICO, FBI Director Christopher Wray blasted the decision to move the agency to Greenbelt, Md., saying that a three-person panel made up of

SAN FRANCISCO — The Northern District of California courthouse where David DePape will stand trial this week is unfriendly territory. The conspiracy-obsessed man charged in the hammer attack on the husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in their hilltop mansion faces decades in prison. CHICAGO — Sophee Langerman was on her way to a bicycle safety rally in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood in June when a car turning right rolled through a red light and slammed into her bike, which she was walking off the curb and into the crosswalk. The car was moving slowly enough that Langerman escaped serious injury, but the bicycle required extensive repairs. To Langerman, it’s another argument for ending a practice that almost all U.S. cities have embraced for decades: the legal prerogative for a driver to turn right after stopping at a red light. Next week's off-year elections could provide a preview of 2024 for President Joe Biden, regardless of whether he faces former President Donald Trump in 12 months. Besides Gov. Andy Beshear's (D-KY) gubernatorial campaign, Ohio's abortion referendum, and Pennsylvania's state Supreme Court race, it is Virginia's general assembly elections that could prove to be the most predictive for next year. That is because of their potential to be an indictment on Biden's presidency amid speculation Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) is considering a last-minute bid for the Republican nomination — and there are no plans for the incumbent to stump there. Biden appearing

Chicago has become so unpleasant that migrants are fleeing back to Venezuela after being dumped in shelters and refused better paying jobs. Since August last year, 20,700 migrants have arrived in Chicago from Texas. The Lone Star State's Governor Greg Abbott sent migrants to Chicago and other Democrat-run cities because of their proud status as 'sanctuary cities.' Now, Illinois' harsh winters, lack of migrant infrastructure, and ambivalent support from locals has made many people, who undertook the harsh US-Mexico border journey, actually turn around and go back home.
