Disney CEO Bob Iger has quietly stated he's pulling his company out of the culture wars and returning to entertainment for entertainment's sake. Iger's comment came during a meeting with investors on September 19 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. According to an analyst note on Wednesday, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger told investors the company will "quiet the noise" in a culture war that has pitted social conservatives against the global media and entertainment conglomerate.

My family and I still do Disney Cruise Line trips but we've pretty much given up on the parks, Our kids (18 and 13 respectively) have given up on all things Disney and have moved on to other forms of entertainment (gaming, mostly). We may look into doing European trips with Adventures By Disney. I'd rather remember the Disney of my youth by hanging on to our old DVDs. The damage is done concerning our family.

If Disney thinks they can flip the American public by "trying to redeem themselves" they will be mistaken. The image of Mickey and Minnie has been replaced by the man, in a beard and makeup, dressed up like a princess. The dream has turned into a nightmare for parents wanting their children to actually enjoy their short childhood without being bombarded by sexual images and circumstances. They will be hard pressed finding anyone who is willing to forgive and forget. Especially at those prices. There are other places to go without being smothered in "wokeness". We have all seen the reports about the loses that Disney has had to absorb. Serves them right. Remember they are only doing their semi turnaround for the $.

Communist Death Democrats like Iger cannot and will not change just like a leopard cannot change their spots. This creep would need to fire most of the current management of the company which he put in place, in order to get out of the so-called culture wars. Disney just like Bud Light is broken beyond repair. Real change at Disney to get it back to a bona fide entertainment and most importantly for profit company can only be achieved by firing Iger and the radical leftists like that trust fund hag Abigail Disney from the board. Disney's current operations plan is communist and deviancy propaganda in and communist and deviancy garbage out.

Disney is so far gone, and so infiltrated by braindead lie-berals, that most of them honestly believe that the woke garbage they have been putting out is just good clean family entertainment!!! They would have no clue how to make a wholesome family film again without stuffing it full of woke garbage and homosexuality!!!!! Disney is dead to me. Any dreams of taking my grandkids to either Disney park are dead and gone. No Disney merchandise, or even classic Disney films, will ever see a penny of my money!!!!!

My family loved going to Walt Disney World in Orlando. I grew up in the Orlando area and we went all the time. My older siblings did Grad Nights there and a couple even worked there. It was sheer magic for us kids in the 70's and 80's. Our little family went almost yearly for over a decade until 2019. Yes, we had noticed a decline in service and overall staff competence and hospitality but we can live with a certain amount of that. What we can not live with is the sexual grooming of children. Our last trip was in 2019. Dh declared until our children are safe from transvestite perverts in Fairy Godmother dresses etc, we will not be going back. I hate that my daughter may never know anything near what I experienced at Disney as a child. Just heartbreaking what the evil people of the world have done.

Since its founding, Disney produced wholesome, decent, high-quality entertainment that parents knew they could take their small children and, as Walt once said, "Have a nice place to take the family for a holiday." Walt and the Disney team produced decent products because they were decent people, it was as simple as that. Over the decades, Disney became, and maintained, the gold standard for family entertainment. Parents KNEW they could trust Disney, that they could let their small children watch Disney movies and shows, unsupervised. Then, the people running the Disney company were stupid enough to hire Perverts, who, as one of them bragged "put Queerness into every place I could". Disney betrayed and destroyed the trust of not only American parents, but the trust that parents in many foreign countries had placed in the company's movies and parks. Trust that Walt and the earlier Disney people had so painstakingly built up over decades of hard work and decency. The present management will have to clean house, and REALLY clean house, then it will take a couple of decades for the trust that parents once put into Disney to build back up. It's either that, or the corporate death spiral. Which will it be, Disney?

BURTON, OHIO — Abortion rights activists shocked themselves and the Ohio political world when they resoundingly defeated an August proposal that would have made it more difficult to enshrine abortion protections in the state’s constitution. The next test comes on Nov. 7, when voters will decide whether to adopt a constitutional amendment to preserve access to abortion in a state that has veered increasingly to the right since 2016. But despite their high-profile victory in August, abortion rights activists know it doesn't mean November will be a cakewalk — and Democrats still face hurdles when it comes to the 2024 political cycle.
