Report: The FBI Illegally Politicized
Background Investigations For Republican
Presidential Nominees

A recent report published by America First Legal (AFL) details how the FBI weaponized the federal background investigation process to deny Republican presidents — specifically Donald Trump — the ability to make political appointments in an “institution-wide” violation of the Privacy Act, the Paperwork Reduction Act, and other federal statutes. Institutional disregard for the FBI Manual of Investigative Operations and Guidelines (MIOG) further contributed to this.

It's high time that these crimes of FBI executive level bureaucrats should be "honored" with a final shot of whiskey, a hemp collar, with optional black hood, and the customary 10 foot drop.

This is very important and never reported information (and none of the criminals involved will be held accountable--as usual).

Why wouldn't the FBI/DOJ be involved in illegal activities? They are never punished for anything. The least Congress should do is cut their funding by about 30%

Abolish the FBI. Replace it with a new, accountable organization. Prohibit anyone above the level of special agent from serving in the new one and scrutinize those with a fine-toothed comb before acceptance.

ABOLISH the FBI, it was formed to combat organized crime and evidently has taken over that operation! Anyone with a modicum of integrity has already resigned; all that remain are criminal scum!

#9, When individuals in the highest echelon of the FBI understood the power that they had been given, it was just a matter of time until absolute power would corrupt absolutely. I agree the organization should be abolished. The only part worth saving are the scientific investigative departments that do forensic investigation. There is no justification to withhold from prosecution anyone involved in any way with the agencies blatant abuse of power especially those in positions of power. This agency has lost the trust of the American people and nothing short of abolishment will be accepted. Individuals who can walk all over the rights of their fellow American citizens should never hold any position in the United States government.

Remove most of their budget, remove all of their weapons. They we'll see how good they are. J.Edgar Hoover was a cross-dressing, power-mad bully who collected dirt on everybody and used it. I don't see where that has changed.

Today's FBI reminds me of a dear Uncle that you thought was so good and wise and then you found out he was a crook. Christopher Wray et al is a Mafia family intent on doing evil. The only way to eliminate the evil of the FBI is to wipe it out completely and start over LOCALLY NOT NATIONALLY. That will take the will of Congress.

President Joe Biden is seeing a series of economic, political and personal challenges pile up on the domestic front as he travels to New York City intent on making the case for American leadership on the global stage. The White House is confronted by an autoworkers’ strike that Biden himself had predicted two weeks ago wouldn’t happen. Biden’s Republican critics in the House have launched an impeachment inquiry. Administration officials are seeing gas prices rise, taking a wait-and-see approach for now. Biden’s son is freshly indicted on federal charges. And Congress is barreling toward a potential government shutdown at month’s end.

Donald Trump is intent on leaning into his criminal cases to boost his 2024 campaign through the election next year, according to multiple people close to the former president, after he tested that strategy through multiple indictments and decided it gave him major political advantages. The summer was devastating for Trump from a legal perspective, after he was charged with retaining national security documents in Florida as well as with seeking to overturn the 2020 election in Washington and in Georgia, the trials for which will occur before the election.

In the West, when we hear news that an area in Ukraine has been liberated, we likely feel a short sense of relief: but we don’t grasp the full extent of what this means. In reality, the experience of being occupied by the Russian invaders is utterly nightmarish. It was for Galyna Matyoshko. It involved the murder of one son and the permanent injury of her other son. Her older son has had 18 surgeries and will never completely recover. For Matyoshko, this nightmare will likely follow her for the rest of her life.

People also didn’t trust her claim that she and The Rock were kicking it off with a ten million dollar donation. President Joe Biden is trumpeting Medicare’s new powers to negotiate directly with drugmakers on the cost of prescription medications — but a poll shows that any immediate political boost that Biden gets for enacting the overwhelmingly popular policy may be limited. Three-quarters of Americans, or 76%, favor allowing the federal health care program for the elderly to negotiate prices for certain prescription drugs. That includes strong majorities of Democrats (86%) and Republicans (66%), according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. About one in five Americans are neutral on the issue, while 6% outright oppose it.

There is much to be learned about power and the press from the fact that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson once evaded a reporter’s tough questions by hiding in an industrial fridge. The reporter, Jonathan Swain of Good Morning Britain, ambushed Johnson at Modern Milkman dairy, where he was stopping for a folksy photo shoot in December 2019. For months, Johnson, a former journalist himself, had refused to be interviewed on prime-time breakfast television. If Johnson wouldn’t go to Good Morning Britain, then Good Morning Britain would go to him. Swain, broadcasting live to a national audience,

The G20 Summit held in New Delhi on Sept. 9 and 10 was, from the perspective and needs of the West, a lot of sound and light signifying not very much. Some Western observers might call it a super-sized nothing burger for them. But one thing is clear: The G20 is a talking forum without any executive powers, unable to prioritize anything — and it has tilted toward the Global South, which comprises developing countries. The G20 Leaders’ Declaration was festooned with a mindboggling array of commitments in an assemblage of fields such as climate, public health, sustainable and inclusive growth, technological transformation, taxation, digital ecosystems, food and energy security,

John Hawkins’ Culturcidal blog at Substack is often a great place to see interesting discussion of important topics, especially on Democrats, and Hawkins’ latest entry is no exception. In a post Monday, Hawkins noted that tons of statistics out there indicate a level of gloom in America that perhaps hasn’t truly existed until now. But something Hawkins pointed out was particularly striking. He caught part of a podcast in which lefty pundit Tim Ferriss was interviewing marketing guru Seth Godin, and Ferriss said this:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michael White had only recently arrived in a grim Iranian jail when a curious fellow prisoner, an English-speaking Iranian, approached him in the courtyard for a conversation. The American did not reveal much at first, but it was the beginning of an unlikely friendship between White, a Navy veteran imprisoned on spying charges he says were unfounded, and Mahdi Vatankhah, a young Iranian political activist whose positions on social issues had drawn his government’s ire. As the men connected behind bars over a shared interest in politics and human rights, they developed a bond that proved vital for both.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has axed the dress code that requires legislators to wear professional attire on the Senate floor months after Sen. John Fetterman was slammed for wearing a hoodie. Schumer (D-NY) quietly directed the Senate’s Sergeant at Arms to stop enforcing the dress code that mandates male senators wear a jacket and tie and female senators a dress or other businesswear on the floor, Axios reported Sunday. The change in policy comes after Fetterman (D-PA) was bashed by conservatives for donning a hoodie, gym shorts and sneakers to the chamber. The senators’ letter comes on the heels of the Senate Armed Services Committee’s unanimous approval for the Department of Defense to send long-range missiles to Ukraine.

That is the exact opposite of what America is, it’s the exact opposite of the founding principles of this country. In America, people have equality of opportunity, not equal outcomes. Equality of outcomes is communism. The people who are leading us don’t even understand or like the core concepts of the country and they tell us with their own words and actions on a nearly daily basis.

The Soviets successfully pulled off a number of dirty tricks which increased their power but impoverished their citizens. Among them was to stir up class warfare by politicizing envy. Thus, unsuccessful farmers were urged to demonize and even kill “kulaks” -- that is, any productive farmer in the area. Another trick was to fail to provide factories with sufficient raw materials to fulfill the overly optimistic state-set production quotas and then criminally prosecute factory managers who couldn’t meet these targets as "saboteurs.” It deflected from their own failures but unsurprisingly resulted in a shortage of qualified managers and engineers.
