The price of oil continues to rise as Wall Street traders eye a potential supply deficit after Saudi Arabia and Russia extended supply cuts. Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude prices have climbed for three straight weeks to reach their highest peak since November and are now targeting their biggest quarterly jumps since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the first quarter of 2022. That year, oil prices shot above $100 for the first time since 2014 amid the conflict as demand recovered from COVID-19 lockdowns. The US could easily flood the market with fresh oil supplies, but Old Joe is determined to slash the throat of energy producers.

We’ll just have use sunshine and the blowing wind !! Big bidet says he’s going phase out oil and gas anyway. I know he’s got dementia and has a life time of stupidity accumulated in what’s left of his database, but he shouldn’t tell The Gullibles such things until he has an alternative. Right now there isn’t even an alternative on the drawing board, just Other People’s Money funded scams and dreams of miracles.

We mostly paid in the high $3 range yesterday driving from Colorado to eastern Kansas, but we saw a few areas in rural eastern Colorado or small town western Kansas which were over $4 a gallon. The EcoCrazies and their WEF friends want to go back to kings and serfs and are working hard to make it happen. The Hunger Games movies have been taken as their idealized future. And hell on earth for us ordinary folks.

Biden policy is gradually restricting oil supply. Oil stocks will continue to climb, but will collapse when a rational person gets back in the WH.

Ruh-Roh. Joey Baby cant use the Strategic Petroleum Reserves to lower prices, bc the SPR tanks are empty. Be ready for $10+/Gal prices during the election season. Inflation will soar as fuel costs will be passed on to the consumer. Hey Yellen, can you see what's coming?

OPEC just sent Biden a thank you note. Putin didn't send a note, but he is happy that we are helping to fund his war with high oil prices. Come to think of it, we are also funding Zelensky to wage war against the Russians. We are funding both sides of this war. Wait.., what?

Iran hijab bill: Women face 10 years in

Iran's parliament has passed a controversial bill that would increase prison terms and fines for women and girls who break its strict dress code. Those dressed "inappropriately" face up to 10 years in jail under the bill, for which a three-year "trial" was agreed. It still needs to be approved by the Guardian Council to become law. The move comes a year after protests erupted over the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, who was held by morality police for an allegedly improper hijab. Women burnt their headscarves or waved them in the air at the nationwide demonstrations against the

It’s official: Democrats make everything worse. It was a sentiment long felt by many in the country, but after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) recent decision to nix the Senate’s dress code and, in turn, obliterate the regard, respect, and dignity of the office, Schumer and the Democrats erased any doubt about ushering in societal rot and the nation’s decline. It’s an embarrassment, and every Democratic politician should be ashamed. And that includes Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), believed to be the impetus for Schumer’s decision to eliminate the dress code. But the prestige of the Senate shouldn’t be lowered

National Democratic leaders are virtually all lined up behind President Joe Biden's 2024 reelection bid. But Democratic voters are a different story. While party voters lined up behind Biden in 2020 and are poised to do so again, they have some misgivings about the president, who is 80 years old and would be 82 at the start of a potential second term in 2025. In an August survey conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 69% of Democrats indicated that Biden would be too old to be effective for another term. And while 55% of Democrats indicated

Unions representing health care workers, fast food workers and other industries are increasingly flexing their power, as employees take to the picket lines this summer. Across industries, workers are seeking improved benefits, better working conditions and most commonly, increased wages. In California, nearly 1 million fast food and healthcare workers are set to get a major raise after a deal was announced earlier this week between labor unions and industries. Under the new bill, most of California's 500,000 fast food workers will be paid at least $20 per hour next year. And a separate bill will increase health care workers'

Climate change isn’t just creating havoc for the living. It’s coming for our dead. Great deluges of rain submerge graves and markers. Swift floods set vaults afloat. Slopes erode in scenic hillside cemeteries. And at the seaside, higher seas and storm surges swamp cemeteries and sweep sand away. For Sherene Johnson’s family, it’s the rain. Ten members of her family are buried in Brighton Memorial Gardens, a predominantly African American cemetery in Brighton, Alabama. Parts of the cemetery and the town have flooded in the past but not as often as they do today, said Johnson, a city councilwoman. The

Oil prices are surging again, but the Biden administration's biggest weapon for bringing them down has much less ammunition. Last year, the federal government drained 180 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as oil prices soared in the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the turmoil in energy markets that followed. Flooding the market with all that supply helped bring oil prices down — and helped cool inflation, which had shot up as well. Earlier this year, the administration took some steps to start refilling the SPR. But while it has ticked up slightly, the level remains near

Democrats are fretting about President Biden’s low approval ratings, exacerbated by widespread concerns about his age. Those factors seem to be getting worse rather than better. Almost three-quarters of the population, according to the poll, believes Biden lacks the stamina and sharpness to serve effectively as president. On Friday, the White House unveiled a proposed rule that would make it even harder than in the past for an incoming Republican president to wrestle control of the left-leaning federal bureaucracy and actually implement the conservative policies promised to voters. Of the 2.2 million federal civil workers, only 4,000 are presidential appointees. The rest stay in their jobs, from one administration to the next, protected by rules that make it nearly impossible to discipline or replace them.

United Nations, (Reuters) - Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced on Wednesday he will pump $500 million into the next phase of his energy transition campaign, aiming to shut down "every last" coal plant in the United States and slash gas-fired capacity in half by 2030.
