Radical climate activist Greta Thunberg has reportedly been arrested and charged with disobeying the police for the second time in less than two months.
Thunberg, 20, originally participated in a climate protest in the southern city of Malmo on June 19th.
“The climate crisis is a matter of life and death for countless people. We choose to physically stop fossil fuel infrastructure. We are reclaiming the future,” she reportedly said at the time.
A month later, she was “fined 1,500 Swedish crowns ($134) by a Swedish court on July 24 for failing to leave [the] protest when ordered by police,” according to Reuters.

On Thursday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Sound On,” White House Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security Amos Hochstein stated that one reason why oil prices have surged and gas prices “is that Bidenomics works.” Because President Joe Biden’s policies have led to a strong economy, which has boosted demand.
Bloomberg Washington Correspondent and host Annmarie Hordern asked, [relevant exchange begins around 44:00] “So, we have crude prices, WTI above 90 today. So, that’s a significant development. The IEA says we’re going to see a significant shortfall.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) is looking into opening taxpayer-funded, city-owned grocery stores in areas in which businesses have pulled out due to rampant crime.
Johnson announced a partnership with the Economic Security Project to look into the possibility of opening city-owned grocery stores. The first step in the partnership will be to perform a feasibility study, but the city did not provide a timeline, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Johnson claimed his administration is “committed to advancing innovative, whole-of-government approaches to address these inequities.”

I want to thank the versatile governor of New Mexico, whose name I don’t care about, for being a communist and a fascist all at once. Now that may seem strange, coming from somebody who actually believes in freedom and actually defended it for 27 years, but I want you to hear me out. She may be an aspiring dictator and a mid-wit Karen brimming over with Xanax wishes and Chardonnay dreams, but she’s providing us with a valuable opportunity that we should take full advantage of. She has decreed that the constitutional right to keep and bear arms must yield

The reputation of “politician” precedes any civil servant, so right off the bat, I hold a less-than-flattering bias against those entering government (to put it mildly); it’s a “guilty until proven innocent” prejudice, but I will say, it’s evenly applied.
Then last week, Michelle Wu, Boston’s hardcore leftist mayor, opened her big mouth and showed (again) just how right on the money one can be when you operate under the assumption that ineptitude and uselessness are shared traits amongst elected officials.
On September 7th, Wu declared a “heat emergency” saying temperatures were expected to reach into the… ready for this? The nineties.

The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, confirmed during an interview on ABC’s “This Week” that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines can cause myocarditis, particularly in young men.
This comes after months of dismissing or downplaying concerns about potential side effects of COVID-19 vaccines.
During the interview, Fauci was asked to discuss the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and the ongoing vaccine drive.
Addressing the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines, Fauci said, “Again, we have experience with this type of vaccine in billions of people. It’s a safe vaccine.

Editor’s Note: This account was originally shared on the political message board “RightNation.Us” on September 11, 2003. It details the firsthand experience of “Tilly” — who miraculously lived through that harrowing day. “Tilly” was kind enough to let me share this on FTRRadio.com (on “Gillespie” which I co-hosted or possibly my own show, “Q With a View”) several years ago. I am excerpting it here but highly encourage you to read the entire account. I return to read it every year. And it always delivers a gut punch. This year, I made a point to take my time with it;

Former White House chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that there were “a number of studies that show that masks actually do work” to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Anchor Jon Karl said, “There’s a new study out that suggests that masks were actually not effective, at least not in a global sense, in containing the pandemic. What is your sense looking back at all of this? Did masks prove to be less effective than you anticipated?”
Fauci said, “You know, Jon, some of the studies are confusing. The study that has been quoted a lot and causing a lot of confusion is this Cochrane Study

I'm not sure what New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham thought she was doing with her anti-gun executive order. The order effectively banned carrying guns for 30 days in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, using the excuse of a public health emergency in a blatantly unconstitutional move.

She probably thought that she would get votes with this, showing that she was "doing something" to deal with "gun violence." As she admitted in her press conference on the matter, she didn't even think this would stop criminals from committing gun crimes; it was about sending a "message," she said.

K-12 public education has failed to prepare incoming college students how to write at the public level.
In a desperate attempt to catch high school graduates up to speed, many universities are providing remedial writing classes to college students.
About 68% of those starting at two-year public institutions and 40% of students enrolled in public four-year universities took at least one remedial writing class between 2003 to 2009, according to an original report from the Department of Education.
Average math and reading test scores dropped significantly from 2019 to 2021, according to a 2022 study by two Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA).

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk used a post on X to report that FEC filings show Liberty Safe’s parent company donated over $400,000 to gun-control Democrats.
Kirk posted:
Liberty Safe was sold to Monomoy Capital Partners in 2021, a liberal East Coast investment firm. I pulled the FEC reports on the company and found approximately $400,000 over the last 10 cycles of max donations to Democrats like: Raphael Warnock in GA John Fetterman in PA Mandela Barnes in WI Mark Kelly in AZ.
He added, “Liberty Safe’s current CEO, Justin Hillenbrand, was a founding partner of Monomoy and donated $4,600 to Obama for America.”

A young couple was shot and killed on Labor Day while sitting in a car with their one-year-old baby in gun-controlled Los Angeles, California.
FOX 11 reported the incident occurred in Harbor City around 6:40 p.m.
The couple, 21-year-old Carlos Loera and 18-year-old Ashley Guzman, were simply inside the car with their baby when the shots rang out. Loera died at the scene and Guzman died at a hospital.
The baby was in a booster seat and only suffered minor wounds from bullet fragments.
There were at least five bullet holes in the driver’s-side window of the Infiniti as police collected evidence Monday, video from the scene showed.

Ask Energy Secretary Hochstein if Biden remembers what the gas/diesel/heating price was when he worked in the Texas oil fields.
No joke!
