‘FDA Is Not a Physician’: Appeals
Court Sides With Doctors on Ivermectin
for COVID-19

A federal appeals court in New Orleans ruled on Friday that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had overstepped its authority in their ruling that three doctors will be able to move forward with their lawsuit over the use of ivermectin off-label to treat COVID-19. Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, one of three doctors who initially filed the charges, trumpeted the ruling as a victory for not only the truth, but patient rights. “The FDA misled the public into thinking it has more authority than it does,” Dr. Bowden,(snip) “This decision confirms that the FDA is not your doctor and has no authority to tell doctors how to practice medicine.”

While this has some importance, it was never the FDA which enforced its own edicts. Rather it was hospitals, state licensing boards, and professional associations which wielded the police actions to keep doctors in line. These were willing to follow the FDA because money was on the line.

Vaccines didn’t work. Masks didn’t work. Lockdowns didn’t work. Ivermectin did. Herd immunity did. Authorities are batting zero to five. We are lucky there are honest professionals who are willing risk everything for the truth.

From my days in medical/pharmaceutical sales, FDA approved indications are restrictive on the producing company. If you do not have an approved indication for that use, you cannot promote the product for that use. Sometimes a manufacturer will not apply for a specific use. For example, if the drug is for an indication with current or expected competitors, a company may file for the indications they can support and file for additional indications later. Or, the cost to obtain a specific indication may be far above the perceived market value of that indication. Certainly, when a drug reaches generic status, it probably is not economically viable for one manufacturer to spend the money on clinical trials, filing, etc. for little or no financial return. Obviously, this is true for invermectin and HCQ which have been generic for yea But if I'm a physician, my selection of a drug is based on good medical practice and clinical information ( such as published studies). The lack of an FDA indication is not a significant issue.

I am raging after reading this. Ivermectin when given early on in Covid could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. A surgeon I worked with confided in me back in 2020 that he would take ivermectin at the first signs of Covid. And all these fools, bureaucrats, gave orders and mandates that didn’t work. Fauci at the top of the list. How many lives could have been saved with an early dose of ivermectin or HYdroxychloraquin? We will never know.

The best thing about this is the slap in the face to the federal government that basically acts like they have the power to do whatever they want. This ruling clearly pulls the FDAs grubby hands off of patient care and properly hands it back to the practicing doctor. It would be nice to see the same thing happen for education, and many other areas for which the government has greatly exceeded it's constitutional and statutory authority. This an oft repeated story that government is handed the right to "inform, announce, and apprise" and then, on its own accord, seizes the right to "endorse, denounce, or advise". This effectively moves the government from a informational source to a CONTROLLING source until someone has the guts to confront them in court.

A step in the right direction but it doesn't help the thousands that were killed by covid and the covid protocol stated by the "authorities". Doesn't help the people killed, maimed or life shortened by the deadly shot. Someone has to go to prison for this. I can think of 2 right off the top of my head - fauci and the scarf dr. Then go after the heads of the big pharms who did know the truth also (why would they want their test results hidden for 75 yrs if there wasn't a problem). I know, it's not going to happen but I can always wish.

That's a shame. Big Pharma will not be able to recoup the billions in losses that they have suffered while developing the COVID-19 poison that was thrust out on the public as effective medicine. Before the COVID hoax, the FDA fiercely enforced long testing periods, watched over the manufacturing and distribution practices and carefully documented side effects but they saw fit to drop all of that oversight when government control and serious money was on the line. People suffered and died because of it. Somebody needs to be held accountable. Don't even think about trying it again.

Democrats never let a crisis go to waste. The promote and exploit every crisis, leak propaganda to the media to incite fear and take all possible steps to prolong the crisis. The Covid-19 crisis was bred in a Chinese bio-warfare lab, released to the world weeks before it was announced, financed illegally by US government agencies without the knowledge of the Trump administration (which was treason) and banned any available medical treatments. Democrats used the crisis to destroy the Trump administration's economy and to justify unconstitutional lockdowns and illegal election measures like mail-in ballots and dropboxes to promote their vote fraud with which they put the Biden regime in power. They are now trying to rinse and repeat.

The genetic engineering of coronaviruses was started by the infamous Dr. Ralph Baric of UNC funded by the NIH and continued by his student the Batlady in China when gain-of-function was prohibited here. It worked beyond imagination. Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins then used the power of NIH grants to finance the narrative that it was a natural virus. The American Medical Association sided with big Pharma and NIH on the first ever mRNA vaccines. Our Doctors gave us no treatment and respirators. The result was that the USA had the highest death rate per capita of the entire world. Now we have millions injured by the mRNA vaccines well beyond Sudden Adult. Death Syndrome and myocarditis. The other the number of boosters the higher the susceptibility to the NIH virus. Our medical profession should hang down their heads in shame and cry. I will never forget or forgive our magnificent Doctors. Hydroxychloroquine was also a great medicine. Trump and many of US used it for prophylaxis.

It's not hard to understand why so many Republicans admire Ronald Reagan. "The Great Communicator" sparked a conservative revival that fractured the remnants of the left-wing New Deal coalition. As president, he helped end the Soviet Union, winning the Cold War. Forty-three years after the Reagan Revolution, and eight years after former President Donald J. Trump changed the game again, none of the Republicans who convened for the first presidential primary debate on Aug. 23 repudiated President Reagan. Even President Trump cited a move by President Reagan as precedent for his decision to skip the debate.
