Yay! Yay!! Now that the proposed wind farm part is seemingly (?) taken care of - let’s cheer on these Val Verde ranchers so that Sun will offload all the rest of the property. David Frankens the good ole boy who did this should be shamed right out of the county!!!! I would never do business with him or anything he owns!! Woo woo! This kind of courage needs to come out of Governor Abbott’s office!! Thank You Lord for these ranchers! God Bless Texas!!

With the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden and hints of bribery of his father, now President, it would be unwise for them to step into the picture on behalf of their Chinese benefactors. For the moment Chinese land buyers in Texas have been stymied. It continues in other states.

Why did Abbott step up to the plate? Where's Congress? They're the ones who should prohibit China from buying agricultural land. Is it Joey wanting to make more clandestine money by doing the Chinese a favor again?

Are you joking, DMUK? The Chinese have backdoor access to the White House, probably front door by now. This country will be covered with windmills when they are finished and all of the power will be piped to China and other communist schiffholes like Cuba and Venezuela when they develop that technology. They could never touch us in a real war but their Trojan Horse is working perfectly.

Well #5, Abbott proposed the original Texas Senate Bill #147. It all sounded good but in Spring 2023, by time many Texas Senators, and Asian-American groups finished criticizing it as too harsh what passed was such a watered-down version that Texas land can still be purchased by China. They will easily go through the big loopholes. I recommend the Texas Tribune summary of what happened to the bill.

Close to 100 cities globally have already signed onto the deal. In the United States, this includes Austin, Boston,(snip) the cities aren’t planning to ban meat outright. In 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a task force to explore reparations for chattel slavery. Recent polling suggests, however, that even most Californians are opposed to cash payments to descendants of enslaved people. Reparations just aren’t a very American idea—they clash with our commitments to individual responsibility and equal opportunity rather than equal outcomes. In 1865, the anti-slavery leader Frederick Douglass gave a speech denouncing what we might now call “reparations.” “And if the negro cannot stand on his own legs, let him fall.” he said. “All I ask is give him a fair chance to stand on his own legs!
