Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and his presidential campaign over the weekend attempted to clarify comments he made to a reporter when he said that Republicans cannot be “listless vessels.” DeSantis made the comments in an interview published Friday by the Florida Standard, an online politics outlet that describes itself as center-right. “The movement has got to be about what are you trying to achieve on behalf of the American people,” he said in the interview. “And that’s got to be based in principle. Since then he has hired all those political prostitutes and sold out to the Bush cabal for their perceived power, and we have no idea what he really thinks. We only know what they told him to say. Clarification is not necessary. Trump supporters can read, watch a video and draw their own conclusions. I've concluded that Meatball had his "deplorables" moment, and his minions are trying to spin a rather large boulder deeply buried in the earth. Good luck with that. Not only has the damn fool burned his 2024 bridge, he asked us to hold his Bud Light while he holds a barbecue on the 2028 bridge as well. DeSantis is a reasonably clever chap, which makes his self-inflicted political wound even more perplexing.

I have no problem with the "listless vessel" commentary. That is, in fact, what the conservative movement in America has been. Because as conservatives we're not looking to harness government to or desires, we're looking to be free of government. What I object to is the next sentence -- that we mindlessly follow Truth Social. So the guy thinks we should be organized and active (I agree). But he just doesn't think we should support the only guy has done anything in furtherance of that belief in the last 8 years. Okay . . .

Llistlesness is defined: Lacking energy or disinclined to exert effort; lethargic. Characterized by a lack of energy or interest. We are if anything, neither disinclined nor lazy; we lack neither energy nor interest. What we do realize is that government does not improve our lives, Unite us, or advance the american ideals of private ownership, personal freedom, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. What you do have a surplus of, ( and please, make me an offer, take it off my hands) self important members of the political class, who believe that a law degree and ambition makes them worthy of a spot in Congress and that six years in congress qualifies you as a governor. The political class, the participants, the staffers, the donors who fund them and consultants who pick their pockets know nothing of independence, freedom from government or self reliance, the world simply cannot move forward without their brilliance. We empty vessels have gone John Galt, we don't wish to advance your agenda, in fact we have pipe swinging bad attitudes. We sit in Church on Sundays and worship God, at approximately the same hour you plant in front of multiple screens and worship the Sunday morning punditry. We aren't following your parade route. If you are driving, we aren't getting in the back seat. If you are in charge of the menu, we are going elsewhere. We don't want what you are selling.

The truly listless (lazy) are all on the left - the multi-generational welfare scammers, the “studies” majors wanting their loans paid off, etc. The only time that they aren’t listless is when they are looting, burning, rioting, murdering or ballot harvesting. It is we on the right who keep this country running and pay the taxes to support the above mentioned leeches. And they never even say, “Thank you.”

What DeSantis and his "allies" seem to not realize, if they simply took off the blinders and looked at what has transpired since Trump came down the escalator to see he's been mercifully attacked since day-one. Nothing has been proven true, which many see for themselves. What they see is these false attacks, and none of these Republicans coming to his side to push back. Do they still believe what's been proven false? Or, are they not well informed on many of the outcomes? Just now we're hearing how Hunter sat with the impeachment lawyers regarding the phone call with Zelenzsky where Trump simply asked him to "look into" the reason the prosecutor was fired (right after Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion dollars - was done within 6 hours per Joe's own video statement). Imagine if they worked together, in a united front, to push back against the Democrats.

How a NYC mom-of-4 helped end affirmative

A New York City mom-of-four was the secret weapon in the fight to end affirmative action in college admissions — leading to the Supreme Court’s blockbuster decision to outlaw controversial, race-based acceptance policies. The landmark June ruling — spearheaded by conservative activist Edward Blum and his Students for Fair Admissions group — ended decades of precedent that had allowed schools to take race into consideration when deciding who to accept. The decision also ended Blum’s years-long fight against affirmative action, which he argued discriminated against Asian-American and white students.

The naturally uneasy relationship between our government and religion has existed since our founding. The founders recognized both the importance of religious morality to the government and the necessity of keeping religious institutions separate from the state. America was run on those principles for a very long time but those days are over, which operates to our detriment. After 1791, the American people were no longer under the godlike moral authority of a sovereign king and his dictates, for the framers had created a separate government with its sovereign authority vested in its people. However, the people had the responsibility to maintain morality learned mostly from their religious practice and education.
