President Joe Biden is preparing to blanket the airwaves with a $25 million television and digital ad campaign in battleground states this month as Republicans are set to face off in their first presidential primary debate. The first minute-long ad, titled “Fought Back,” which was first obtained by CNN, has an economic focus, marking the campaign’s latest effort to improve voter perceptions about Biden’s handling of the economy. It also makes explicit reference to Biden’s predecessor, former President Donald Trump, as Democrats attempt to tie GOP candidates at this week’s debate to Trump’s “MAGA agenda.”

Quoting the article, “It doesn’t matter who ‘wins’ the debate on Wednesday, the MAGA Republican presidential candidates have all chosen a losing strategy that is extreme and out of touch with the American people,” wrote Michael Tyler, the Biden campaign’s communications director. Just who is it that is out of touch? I dunno about you, but I don't like $4-$5 gasoline, 30%-40% increase in utility bills, 40-50 percent increase in groceries, and on, and on and on . . . And, I don't like the fact that our President is a crook. I also don't like the fact that the DOJ, FBI, IRS, MSM and nearly all of government is protecting him.

Trump may have coined the acronym MAGA as a proper noun but three earlier Republican candidates, Wiley (1940), Goldwater (1964) and Reagan (1980) had already adopted the 'Make America Great Again' slogan; however, neither Reagan, nor his supporters, ever claimed he could/would do it alone. He added "Let's" to the phrase, not an "I will." In 1991, Bill Clinton also adopted the phrase for a campaign slogan, after first accusing Reagan of using the phrase as a racist dog whistle to white southerners - like Clinton. Ironically, Trump criticized Ted Cruz for using the phrase in his campaign. Trump claimed in 2015, that he didn't know Reagan had used the slogan in his 1980 campaign.

Heh, Biden bragging about how well the economy is going under his regime is like Eric Adams, London Breed, Karen Bass and Brandon Johnson bragging about the low crime rates in their cities. They are only fooling themselves.

Should have saved your money. We all know how the economy is doing every time we step in a grocery store or gas station.

How a NYC mom-of-4 helped end affirmative

A New York City mom-of-four was the secret weapon in the fight to end affirmative action in college admissions — leading to the Supreme Court’s blockbuster decision to outlaw controversial, race-based acceptance policies. The landmark June ruling — spearheaded by conservative activist Edward Blum and his Students for Fair Admissions group — ended decades of precedent that had allowed schools to take race into consideration when deciding who to accept. The decision also ended Blum’s years-long fight against affirmative action, which he argued discriminated against Asian-American and white students.

It’s a ridiculous story that the liberal media is obsessed with though no one cares enough about it. Only the most ardent progressives think these stories will oust Justice Clarence Thomas from the Supreme Court. It won’t. The narrative's core is that Clarence Thomas is an evil man for going on vacation. Yes, a black man went on vacation—this is the scandal of the century.Since April, the Left has been clamoring for impeachment hearings over these vacations with Thomas’ uber-wealthy friends, which Leah wrote about last spring. Also, judges don’t have to disclose gifts from personal friends, so this was a nothing burger out of the gate:

The naturally uneasy relationship between our government and religion has existed since our founding. The founders recognized both the importance of religious morality to the government and the necessity of keeping religious institutions separate from the state. America was run on those principles for a very long time but those days are over, which operates to our detriment. After 1791, the American people were no longer under the godlike moral authority of a sovereign king and his dictates, for the framers had created a separate government with its sovereign authority vested in its people. However, the people had the responsibility to maintain morality learned mostly from their religious practice and education.

Today some of those bullies grew up into 'Deep Staters' who brand our truth as conspiracy theories, and their lies as truth.
