The 7-Eleven clerks who were seen in a viral video stopping and beating a shoplifter, who threatened to kill them and has robbed the location before, are now being investigated by Stockton Police for assault. KCRA reports the shoplifter stole cigarettes on July 28 and threatened the clerk he would shoot him if he intervened. On July 29 at the same 7-Eleven, a worker said the suspect demanded money at the store while simulating that he had a handgun. When the worker didn’t comply, the suspect grabbed food items and put them in a garbage bag before leaving.

In a sane America, a thief getting a beatdown was considered a public service, and perhaps the folks who stopped the theft would get a "model citizen" award. In the America of the Insane Left....criminals rule and harming one is a "crime", while theft is not.

While the robber was shoveling packs of cigarettes into the garbage can, the person filming the theft said not to worry about it--insurance would pay. He's just as guilty as the thief, and is just as worthy of a beating. If the fellow with the stick gets in legal trouble, it's so wrong. If the law won't stop these brazen thieves, people will resort to vigilantism. The law is failing. If it fails, what's left? Retail stores cannot exist in some places because they're being stolen blind. These stores will not open again. Gone forever. In your face brazen thieves who think they'll never pay should be shot down. Maybe they'll learn when they absorb some lead.

We ended cancer as we know it.” Critics mocked Biden’s claim as both an example of his signature hyperbole ,and a sign of possible mental decline: But the White House transcript reads differently

A sudden new twist in the investigation into Hunter Biden means his legal tribulations will likely stretch on for months, creating an unwelcome new drag on his father’s White House and reelection bid. Just weeks ago, the shadow of criminal suspicion over Hunter Biden seemed about to lift. But the elevation of David Weiss, the prosecutor investigating President Joe Biden’s son, to special counsel status on Friday was as important for symbolic and political reasons as it was for legal ones. The new status grants him extra powers to broaden his inquiries – potentially into other states beyond his current patch as US attorney in Delaware.
